Snape's POV

I had finally got rid of a ravenclaw dunderhead I gave detention to, he spent most it whining about how unfair it was.
I sat back in my chair at the desk and sighed, thank Merlin the day is over
'At least Mya is coming to see me' I thought
I replied to a few owls I had received, and I heard a knock at the door

I told her to follow me into my personal quarters and she did so
She took a seat and began
"Profes--" I cut her off
"Call me Severus"
She smiled broadly and continued
"Severus, I really need your help, I need to get out of visiting my father"
She said, a desperate tone in her voice

"Mya, unless you agree to tell Dumbledore about the abuse you will have to go to see the bas....Your father" I cleared my throat
"Please, I really don't want to, there must be a way" she pleaded
"You must tell Dumbldedore, or at least give me permission to do so on your behalf"
"I can't! If Dumbledore got involved he would surely do something, and it with make my father more angry"
"They could sent him to Azkaban, you will be safe"
"But what if they don't? What if they just give him a talking too? He will hunt me down"
She held her head in her hands

She had a point, I got up from the sofa and went into my bedroom
"Wait here" I ordered
I returned with a small box, and sat beside her.
"A good friend of mine a long time ago, gave me this, it's a ring that is charmed"
She looked at the ring and gave me a confused look
"It can only be given to one person, he or she who wears it will send a mental image to me, if they say the password.... Which is Tobias"

"So, if I wear it, and I'm in danger you will come to me?" She asked
"Exactly" I soothed
I placed the ring on her small fingers, and she began to cry
I took her in my arms, and held her close to me
"I will keep you safe my love" I told her, quickly realising what I had said
She looked up at me and replied "thank you, you have no idea how much this means to me my love"

For a moment I was taken back by what she said to me, but then I felt a hunger inside,
A hunger like I'd never felt before
I forced my lips to hers with urgency, grasping her waist in my hands
She kissed back and I teased her with my tongue begging for entrance
She obliged and soon we were kissing passionately, my tongue searching her mouth and hers mine.
She groaned my name as I ran my hand up her back
She held me tighter to her body and I groaned, I wondered if she could feel my erection
I pulled away, I had to restrain myself, even though I longed to take her there and then.
"Let's just take this one step at a time" I chuckled, pulling away and pecking her lips again
She looked at me with loving eyes and said
"One step at a time"
