There are certain individuals
Who deride others
Simply to make themselves
Feel far more superior than most.

They tend to have the illusion
That shooting others down
Will in some sense
Raise their platform of utter greatness.

They are far too shallow,
Far too highfalutin
To recognise
Their own intellectual defects.

It's easier for them to seek venture
In making others feel insignificant
Than to glance in the mirror
At their own miserable behaviour.

To those I voice loud and clear
So that you're children's children may overhear
These decisive words
Echo in their peaceful slumbers

Do not go around
Fracturing every living soul
Because of your own
Unhappiness
