Niall POV:

Liam and I are very excited to welcome our second baby into the world. I am seven months pregnant and it feels like nothing can go wrong. My feet and back aren't achy and swollen at all and our son Parker James Payne is an angel. He doesn't even cry unless he's hurt. We decided to keep the baby's gender a surprise because he or she is going to be our last child. We don't want to be out numbered by our children. That would be horrifying.

We love to take day trips down to the beach so that Parker can play in the sand and run around in a new scene.  He absolutely adores it. Liam told me on the way down here today that this is the last time that we'll be down here before our second is born. I agreed with him, knowing how protective he gets of me when I'm pregnant.

We enjoy the beach until it starts to get dark. Everything gets packed up and we head to the car to change clothes and head home. Liam is a very cautious driver so I trust that he'll get us home safely. I take a small nap, the pregnancy draining all of my energy. When iwake up, Liam is singing one of his friends songs. I think it's called Small Bump and it's by Ed Sheeran. He cannot stop listening to it. Out of the corner of my eye, I see a semi loose control and it comes right at Parker and my side. I scream, terrified that Parker is going to get hurt. It collides with us and all I know is pain. It soon becomes too much and I black out.

Its all that I hear when I start to come around. Wait, why the hell am I in a hospital? Everything rushes back to me and I start to cry, catching the attention of Louis. He has been my best friend since first grade. We are almost inseparable. He gets up, rushing over to me. I go to hug him and cry out from the pain in my right arm. "Niall, stay still. Don't move. They're still running tests to see if you and the baby are okay. Liam is ok, he has a few bumps and scrapes. Parker is somewhat ok, but he broke his right leg in three places. You and the baby, they aren't so sure. The semi hit right where you were sitting. The doctors aren't sure how you're even alive. You should have been killed on impact."

The doctor soon comes in with news about the two of us. "Well, I have the test results on everything we tested. Mr Payne, that crash has paralysed you from the chest down and your arm broke from being flung around." "What about the baby?" "Thats the thing. Mr. Payne, when the semi hit you, your body was thrown in a way that hit your stomach many times. It killed the baby and has left you infertile. I'm sorry for your loss." The doctor says, killing me slowly with his words.

**Two Years Later**

I sit here in my wheelchair, morning the loss of my first and only daughter. All though she is missed, she was needed up there. Even if we're still unaware ass why.
