Winter break is finally here, and the students of Andel Falls were more than ready to say goodbye to midterm exams and early mornings. The campus was crowded as people greeted their families and say goodbye to their friends. These three weeks would be a blessing to all of them.

Nadia and Sophia were busily packing their belongings in their dorm rooms, as Sophia asked Nadia questions about her family. Nadia's parents had agreed to let Sophia stay with them for winter break and they were even more excited to finally be able to meet her in person.

"Well, what do you guys usually do for the holidays?" Sophia asked with a smile as she folded her clothes into her suitcase. "I guess we do the "usual" stuff, like going Christmas tree shopping and putting up the decorations. I'll warn you though, we play Christmas music nonstop until the actual holiday get here!" Nadia stated as Sophia laughed. "Oh, and my dad makes the best hot chocolate! We always like to bake chocolate chip cookies and drink hot chocolate on Christmas Eve, while we watch all of the Christmas specials." Nadia began to smile to herself as she reminisced. "Oh my god, I miss them so much!" Nadia said with a sigh.

"Your parents sound awesome, Nadia. It definitely explains why you're so amazing." Sophia replied with a wink. Nadia giggled. "Anyways, what about you and your family, Sophie"? Nadia asked. "The one Christmas that I remember the most is Marcia's first Christmas." Sophia began as she happily sighed to herself. "Chase was actually in the picture then, and we spent the holiday with my parents. You should have seen Marcia, she was adorable." Sophia said as Nadia sat down on the bed to listen to her.

"Our family was big on holiday traditions, especially when it came to Christmas stuff! I remember my mom would drag me out of the house to do carolling every year." Sophia stated with a laugh. "Oh that's so cool!" Nadia exclaimed. "I guess I grew to appreciate it more through my teen years. We we're spending time together as a family and we were giving other people joy - well the people that wanted to actually listen to us, of course." She said with a laugh.

Nadia and Sophia's conversation is interrupted when they hear a knock on the door. Nadia walks to the door and opens it, revealing Drake on the other side. "Sup, ladies!" He says as he leans on the door frame. "Hey, Drake." Nadia and Sophia say simultaneously. Drake comes in and sits on the Nadia's desk.

"I guess after today, the group's going to disband." Drake says with a sigh. "Oh, shut up you sap, it's only three weeks!" Sophia rolls her eyes as Nadia laughs. "I'll remember that you said that, when tell me how much you missed me the first day back." Drake commented as he shook a finger at Sophia. Sophia quickly hides her blushing cheeks with her hand.

"Okay, when are you guys going to make it official, already?" Nadia asked as threw up her hands. "We could ask you and Finn the same thing." Sophia instantly replied. "Really, Sophia?" Nadia said as she rolled her eyes. "That's my girl! It's about time we talked about the main event." Drake said as he went over to sit closer to Sophia.

"There's nothing to talk about really. He kissed me and he obviously regretted it." Nadia said as she continued to pack her stuff. "But that doesn't explain why you guys aren't speaking to each other. You guys went from being completely infatuated with each other, to not even saying hi when you pass each other in the hallway." Sophia added.

"My feelings for him never really went away. Whenever I hear his name or just get glimpse of him, I always go back that night at the cabin." Nadia explained as she plops down onto her bed. "It's good to know that you're still not over him, because he sure isn't over you." Drake shakes his head as he chuckles. Nadia's head immediately snaps up. "Really?" Nadia asks softly as a small smile forms on her lips.

Drake and Sophia shoot glances at each other, noticing how happy Nadia had became just by that statement alone. They both knew how much Nadia and Finn still cared about each other. They just had to figure how to get them to speak to one another.

"Yeah, whenever we mention you he gets all flustered. It's pretty fun to watch." Drake says with a laugh. Sophia looks at her watch and immediately begins to pack again. "Alright, Drake. Nadia's parents will be here in an about hour so we have to finish packing." She says.

"Oh, cool! I can totally help you guys if you want. Plus, I want to meet Nadia's parents too." Drake says excitedly as he helps Sophia pack. "You should know Nadia constantly talks about about us in the letters that she writes to them." Sophia says with a confident smirk as Nadia and her look at one another. Drake dramatically puts a hand on his chest. "Aw, I'm touched." He says as he pretends to wipe a tear from his eye. Nadia rolls her eyes. "Do they know about you and Finn?" Drake questioned Nadia as Sophia chimed in. "Please tell me that you told them!" She said as she bounced up and down.

"I did." Nadia said calmly with a smirk. Sophia and Drake enthusiastically high five each other. "Dad just knows that I like him but mom knows everything, even the kiss." She said. "How come she knows more than he does, exactly?" Drake asks with an evil smirk. "I may or may not have secretly sent a letter to only her explaining the whole situation." Nadia said quietly as she crosses her arms. "How scandalous!" Drake says dramatically as Sophia laughs.

"Okay I'm officially kicking you out Drake!" Nadia said as she giggled. "No, please let me stay!" Drake pleads as Sophia pushes him towards the door. "You're distracting us from packing, you moron!" Sophia laughed as she pushed him out of the room. "I'll wait for you!" Drake shouts as she shuts the door. Sophia turns to Nadia and they both double over in laughter.

"Come on, Sophie. Let's finish packing". Nadia says.

About 30 minutes later, Drake arrives at Finn's dorm. He knocks on the door and it immediately opens afterwards. "Sup man?" Finn greets Drake with a fist bump and invites him in. "Wow, you packed up fast! Doesn't even look like my junkie best friend lived here!" Drake said jokingly as Finn punched him in the arm. "Hey, you know I'm right!" Drake smiled as he shrugged. "I have to make sure we're ready to go before Mom and Dad get here." Finn says as he puts the last piece of clothing in his suitcase.

"By the way, you really didn't have to tell Lucy and Fred that I needed a ride. You know I could've just taken the bus." Drake said with a smirk as he puts his hands in his pockets. "Of course I did, man. Since your beloved Pontiac is getting fixed up, they'll be glad to drive you. Finn started. "And, I really need you to quit calling my parents by their first names, it's weird." He adds with a chuckle. "To be honest, we've been best friends for most of our lives. They practically let me call them anything at this point. " Drake comments with a laugh.

"Dude, my parents and  my brothers would kill me if I let you take the bus. With this deed, both of our butts are saved." Finn said a put a hand on Drake's shoulder.  "Oh shut up, you drama king!" Drake says as he playfully shoves him. Finn laughs as he sits in his desk chair.

"I talked to Sophie today. Apparently she's staying with Nadia for winter break, and they're probably about to leave in thirty minutes, so are you coming to say goodbye with me?" Drake asked as he looked down at his watch. "Oh yeah, of course I'll come with you." Finn says as grabs his bags and puts them at the front of his door.

Drake looks at him in shock. "Wait, really?" He replied. "I thought about what you said on Thursday and you were right. I need to talk to her. Hopefully this will help get on the right track." Finn says with a smile.

Drake is clearly taken aback by Finn's change of heart. "I honestly didn't think that you would listen to me. Thanks for that. I really mean that." He said as he patted Finn's shoulder.
