Her vision is blurred. She can't clearly envision what's in front of her. Darkness surrounds her. Blindly running with nowhere to go. No one can save you. She hears troubled souls corrupted by the darkness, trying to convince her.

The woman in gold appears before her. She speaks to her. Save your loved ones. The woman in gold says. They'll kill you. Protect the stone, Nadia. Nadia. NADIA.

Nadia's eyes snap open as Finn calls out to her. "Finn?" She breathes as she looks around at the dimly lit area surrounding her. It looks like she's in a jail cell. "I'm over here." He muttered. She gets up to walk and a sharp wave pain comes from the back of her head. As she walks towards the light shining through the bars of the cell, she sees Finn on the other side of the hall, sitting on the floor of his cell, his head rested on the bars, still in his football gear. She sits down in her cell as well.

"Where are we exactly?" Nadia asked. "The Andel Falls police station." He said with a sigh. "Apparently they took all the officers hostage, so they won't interfere." He continued.

They are both intensely quiet as they both observe their surroundings. "We messed up, Nadia." Finn says in a monotone voice. "The people that put us here, they're after the crystal." He continues. "You gotta to be kidding me!" Nadia replied sharply. "They know that we touched it. They said they want our power." He said as he brows knit in confusion. "What are they talking about "power?" Nadia asked angrily. "They said when we touched the crystal, we were supposed to get something in return." Finn explained. "And whatever we got, they want to kill us for it." He continues.

"Finn, we have to get out of here!"Nadia whispered sharply. "I know." Finn said. Nadia studies Finn from across the hall, and notices cuts and bruises on his face. Finn notices she's staring. "They took me out my cell and interrogated me." Finn sighed. "But, Finn-" Nadia started. "I'm fine, Nadia. I swear." He said with a forced smile.

They could hear footsteps in the hall as they ended their conversation and a woman and man with hoods on their heads appeared before them. "We're gonna give one last chance, birdbrain." The lady kneeled down sneering in Finn's face. "Or dollface is going in for questioning next." The man said as he reached for Nadia's face. Nadia spits in his face. "Hands to yourself, creep." She growls. The man wipes his face in pure disgust. He sneers at her and stands up to open her cell. "Don't you dare touch her or I swear to God, I'll kill you both!" Finn barked as he angrily yanks the bars.

"You're coming with me!" The man says as he enters the cell. " Don't touch her!" Finn shouted. The man yanks Nadia up by the arm, putting a knife to her neck. "Don't do anything stupid, sweetheart." Nadia looks fearfully at Finn, the look in eyes begging for him to save her. The man snarls as he takes her down the hallway for interrogation. "Don't worry, you'll be next after her. We'll "interrogate" you as long as we need to." The hooded woman stated with an evil smirk as she walked away.

Finn couldn't let Nadia get the same treatment that he got. He had to get out of this cell. "W-Wait!" Finn shouts to the woman. "The crystal its in the boys dormitory of the school." He lied. "If you take me to the interrogation room I'll tell you everything that I know." He said as she walked up to him. "How do I know that you're not lying to me?" She said in a serious tone. "That crystal has ruined our lives, it's taken a toll on all of us. I'd doubt that we want to keep it." Finn said. "So, if I let you out of here, you'll spill?" She questioned.

"I swear." Finn said. "Please, just don't hurt her." He begged. The woman took out her keys and opened Finn's cell. The woman goes for her knife but Finn disarms her by slamming her hand into the wall and punches her in the face, knocking her out momentarily. As Finn sprints to hallway to interrogation room, the woman gets up and chases after Finn. Finn kicks the door to the interrogation room open but as soon as he enters to men tackle him to the ground.

"Finn!" Nadia shouts. "Let go of me, you jerks!" Finn yells as he tries to wiggle out of their grips. One of them takes a syringe out their pocket and stabs the needle in Finn's neck. Finn screams at the top of his lungs as he still tries to escape but the chemical that he got injected with takes over, making harder for him to fight and stay awake, until he's fully unconscious.

Finn snaps his eyes open as he's surrounded by darkness. Finn. He hears someone whisper. "Who was that?" He muttered fearfully. You are safe. You should not be afraid. They say. Where's Nadia?" He says in a shaky voice as he stands. She needs you. You have to save her, Finn. Protect the stone. He hears. "How? Why do I need to protect it?" He asks. Our worlds are in danger. Unleash its power and you can save us. They whisper. "Who are you?" He asks. The savior of worlds. Responsible for the Crystal's creation. Nadia needs you. You. YOU.

Finn wakes up in the interrogation room, as he heavily pants. "Look who decided to join us." The hooded man says, as he looks at Finn. Then Finn looks at Nadia, who has a bruise on her cheek and a bloody nose, as she angrily looks at the man.

Finn tries to get up but, he noticed that his hands and feet are tied to the chair."Now, tell me about your powers." The man said. "I don't know what your talking about." Finn said as he angrily stared at the man. The woman from earlier walks up to Nadia and punches her. Nadia grunts in pain. "Nadia!" Finn cries out. The man laughs. "Look like we found your weakness." He says with an evil grin. "Shut up." Finn says angrily. "If you touch her again, I will end you." Finn grimaces. "Oh really?" The man chuckles. "El?" The man orders the woman to punch Nadia again.

She punches her hard and Nadia grunts and lets out a scream of rage. She punches her over and over and over again until she's unconscious. "Stop!" Finn screams at her.

Finn can feel his anger spilling over and his hand began to glow from behind him "I SAID STOP!" With a burst of energy, Finn break out his ties and hits the two men guarding the door with a blast of magical energy. "Oh my god." The hooded man stares at him in awe. Finn looks down at his hands in confusion. "What the-?" His utter confusion is interrupted, as the hooded woman tackles him, slamming him into the table. Finn blocks the hooded woman's punches and headbutts her, sending her falling to the floor and hitting her with a blast of magic.

The hooded man launches a ball of fire at Finn, who dives out of the way. Finn immediately stands up and throws a concentrated beam of magic straight at the man. The man attempts to block it, sheilding himself as he flips the table in the interrogation room, but Finn's magic burns a whole right through it and hit the man as he screams in pain.

Finn falls to the floor in exhaustion as his power ceases. He looks at Nadia and immediately stumbles to her. "Nadia." He says as he unties her from the chair. He gets the ties completely off and grabs her face. "Come on, Nadia, wake up." He says gently. She slowly opens her eyes and looks at Finn in confusion. "Wha-What happened?" She mutters as she looks around the room. "We'll talk about that later. We have to get out of here. Now." He says as he helps her up and takes her hand. They run for the entrance doors and spot some of the officers tied up.

Finn and Nadia run up to them and untie them."They're in the interrogation room. They're knocked out, so it should be an easy arrest." Finn said to the officers. The officers gave Finn and Nadia their gratitude and they left for the interrogation room. "Let's go." Nadia said as Finn followed her outside. They make their way to the parking lot and stop. "Finn, how are we gonna get back?" Nadia asked. Finn starts to think. "Maybe we could call the Dean and tell him where we are or maybe we could call my parents?" He suggested. "There's probably no payphone for miles". Nadia said as she looked around.

Just then, a dark blue Pontiac pulls up in of them with a loud screech. The person rolls the window to reveal themselves. "Drake"?! Finn and Nadia say simultaneously.

"Get in."
