"You are a monster! You do not deserve to live!" she screamed, blood running from her eyes in a mixture with her tears. Though she physically weakened she did not relent with her words.

"I am not! I never meant to do this!" Isabel cries, clutching her chest that feels like it's about to cave in.

"You are just like him! A killer,"

Isabel let out a cry as she sat up in her bed, her chest burning as it did in that torturous memory. The memories continuously taunting her in the dark room as Isabel blinks away her tears. Before Isabel can do her own home remedy for nightmares, half a bottle of scotch the doors to her bedroom burst open.

"I'm sorry for disturbing you but Mr. Jason said it was urgent. He is in the library," a maid says quickly, her eyes darting every where in the room but at Isabel.

"It is quite all right, I was already awake," Isabel smiles at the nervous maid, in attempt to soothe her nerves. The maid only replies by hurrying out of the room with a polite nod.

Reaching over to the chair beside her bed, Isabel pulls on her silk robe that matches her nightgown. Before going to meet her brother Isabel splashes some cool water on her face in an attempt to calm herself down.

Taking one last deep breath as she exits her room, Isabel braces herself for whatever the troubles are this time. A shiver runs through her body as the ice cold tiles make contact with her bare feet but she didn't bother with trying to find her slippers.

The heavy oak doors that lead to the library are cracked open, light streaming out and on to the tiles at the bottom of the stairs. Isabel can't help but furrow her brows as she hears voices talking back and forth.

"Jason, is everything alright?" Isabel starts before shes even around the corner. But she stops short when she sees Rebekah, Klaus and Elijah with worried expressions with Jason looking troubled himself.

"Isabel, i'm sorry to wake you from your warm bed but it was urgent," Jason says to his little sister, an apologetic smile.

"I was already awake, what is wrong?" Isabel asks, running a hand through her ever intact golden curls. Though her face makeup free still flawless with pink tinted lips and cheeks, her small nose red from the cold.

"As you may or may not know our Father is Mikael, the vampire who hunts vampires. He is getting close to our trail and would you please help us get him off it?" Rebekah asks, her dark makeup running down her cheeks that point to the evidence she had been crying earlier.

"Isabel, I know this is a lot to ask especially considering...I wish I could do it but i'm not strong enough," Jason says, running a hand through his hair. The dark bags under his eyes point to the evidence that he hadn't gotten much sleep lately.

Also the fact that he and the Mikaelson's were all clad in dress wear also point to the fact that they had been out earlier that evening.

"I will help but there is something that I need if I am to truly get him off your trail," Isabel says, her cat like eyes meeting Klaus's from across the room.

"Whatever it is, I will get it," Klaus says, his gaze not wavering.

"A vervain free human that would not raise suspicion if they were to go missing," Isabel says, her eyes cast to the ground as if she were ashamed of something.

"I will be back shortly," Klaus says before leaving with vampire speed.

"Isabel," Jason says in a wary tone, knowing the spell she plans to use. Also aware of the fact that the spell is dark magic.

"I'm going to go make some coffee," Isabel ignores her brother, exiting the library.

_____

By the time Klaus returned daylight streamed into the Sterling residence, a blissfully compelled human blindly followed the original into the library where everyone waited.

"Here you are. One compelled, unloved human," Klaus said, an mocking smile on his face.

"Alright then, I need your blood," Isabel said rather bluntly, holding out the hilt of a knife to Klaus.

"For what?" Klaus asked, his eyes narrowing in suspicion at the witch. Isabel twitched in annoyance at the vampires paranoia.

"In order to fool your father i'm going to tap into dark magic despite my better judgement. Then proceed to mimic your power, place it into a human, and cloak the three of you from any witches magic. Hopefully you can not murder people in order to not draw attention to yourself," Isabel snapped, once again shoving the knife in Klaus's direction.

"No need to get testy, love," Klaus taunted, drawing the knife across his palm and allowing his blood to drain into an empty glass.

"Well here goes nothing," Isabel sighed before dropping a few herbs into the glass, then beginning to chant. After a moment of chanting the glass started to spin as the originals carefully watch the witch.

After a minute Isabel stops, her eyes opening to reveal completely black eyes and then after blinking her usual green eyes. The Mikaelsons look shocked at her change of eye color but Jason stands there with an unreadable emotion on his face.

"Here, get him to drink that and compel him to go far away. In exchange for that stop asking my brother for favors. I have no issue with you all being friends but if Jason comes to any harm because of his involvement with you, your Father will be the last thing you should fear," Isabel says, her tone emotionless.

"Isabel-," Rebekah starts to say but Isabel spins on her heel, exiting the library.

Not a lot of Isabel and Klaus action but that is to come soon! I'm not crazy about this chapter but this is all leading up to something. Why is Isabel so protective over Jason? Let me know what you think in the comments. Like, comment, vote and all that jazz!

Also the photo is Isabel's outfit for this chapter! :)
