Alexandro's POV:
"I love you."

I whispered against Kayson's lips as I finished pulling up my sweats after our shower. We were both soaking after running back to my place but I couldn't help the smile that was plastered on my face as I left him in his room to unpack. Knowing that he was back home just filled me with so much peace but how close was I to losing him again..no how close were we from losing him? I quickly shook those thoughts away as I made my way downstairs to the kitchen, he's here with us now that's all that matters.

I breathed in Xadrian's calming scent and a frown works it's way onto my lips when I entered the kitchen and couldn't see him. He was here, did he come look for me? Fuck he probably came looking for food I bet he's starving. Fuck I hope he doesn't think he's in trouble for leaving the library earlier. Fuck!

I slammed my hands down onto the island trying to think.

Do I start lunch and then go and find him or do I go and find him and then make lunch. Neither option sounds right fuck! I ran my hands down my face pulling at my hair in frustration I don't know what to do! No doubt those crazy idiots I call family will come running in here next complaining that all the packing and unpacking made them hungry. Fuck and I still need to come up with a way to ease Xadrian into meeting my friends and then I need to introduce him and Kayson.

Fuck. I ran around the kitchen opening cupboard doors, draws and the fridge. The bread went flying as I tripped over thin air, I dove down in an effort to catch it but it slipped through my fingers.

I looked around the island half expecting to see someone standing in the doorway just staring at me trying to hold back their laughter. I quickly dusted myself off before I picked up the bread slices off the floor okay so sandwiches are off the table. Maybe I should take this as a sign to go and find Xadrian. No, no he'll be starving and I've only just go him into a routine with his eating.

I tapped my fingers against the island what's about the freezer I'm sure there is something in there. My eyes scanned the near empty freezer until they landed on a frozen pizza. Oh Goddess dad please don't look he'll be spinning in his grave. I chucked the pizza in the oven and turned back to look at the island.

"Okay Il mio cucciolo you have to roll the dough nice and thin. That's it, okay now change the direction your rolling so it's all even. They you go I'll make a chief out of you yet."

My dad's favourite place was kitchen, he was in his element in here. Grabbing his ingredients, rolling out dough; I feel so out of place standing where he used to. I haven't cooked in here for so long I used to love cooking in here with him. Xadrian' s calming scent washed over me taking away my sadness as I looked up meeting his gaze.

"Alec?"

I so badly wanted to run to him and hold him but I didn't want to scare him so I moved around the island and opened my arms. In a split second he ran into my arms and hugged me tight.

"Hey, hey I'm sorry. I'm sorry Little Wolf I didn't mean to be gone so long. Are you okay? Your not in trouble Pup."

I felt the tension leave his body as he snuggled into my chest. I pressed a kiss to his forehead before I pulled away cupping his face wiping the few stray tears that had fallen.

"Y..yelling."

I pulled him back into my arms, gently rubbing circles into his back. I forgot how the fuck I could I forget he hates yelling or loud noises in general.

"I'm sorry Pup, Antonio and I didn't mean to yell."

Fuck I knew we were too loud, it didn't even cross my mind that he could have heard us. I should have known things were going to escalate or at least prepared him for it in advance. I went to continue my apology when he quickly shook his head and pulled out of my arms to look at me.

"No, not Ant yelling. Ant make I..me feel safe, trust Ant. He not..was not angry yelling. No..didn't like others yelling at Ant. Had to check; make sure Ant o..was okay."

He..he wasn't scared of us; he was scared for us.

"We're okay Little Wolf. I'm glad you know your not in trouble. We're touched you came to check...where did you get that Pup?"

My eyes widened as they landed on my pendant. Xadrian eyes followed mine, his hand subconsciously went to the pendant clutching it tight as he looked up at me.

"Ant. He give..gave to me. Said I hold it and keep safe for him."

I don't think I've ever taken it off since dad gave it to me. I don't even know what will happen if I'm not wearing it but Ant wouldn't give it to Xadrian if we needed it would he.

"Hey bro what's cooking I'm starving?!"

My eyes snapped up to the big mouth that is Benji as I shushed him. I rolled my eyes at the tone in his voice he's lucky it's me and not Antonio.

"Benji keep your voice down you idiot I'm stood right here."

I draw my eyes back down to Xadrian, his eyes were fixed on Benji his body shaking. My arms snaked around his waist pulling him close until his back was pressed against my chest.

"I'm making pizza it should be about twenty minutes. Xadrian this is one of my oldest friends Benji, Benji this is my mate Xadrian."

Okay so introduction it is then. Benji smiled and waved at Xadrian his goofy smile plastered on his face. I placed Xadrian up onto the counter next to the oven before I stood in front of him so his attention was solely on me as I sensed the others coming close.

I heard Benji whisper yell at them all to shut up because Xadrian didn't like loud noises and I could just picture them all rolling their eyes knowing full well I told him off for the same thing.

"Little Wolf look at me it's okay. Their just my friends they won't hurt you, they're really nice once you get to know them. I know you don't like it when people use your name so what are we going to tell this bands of looney tunes to call you? How does Xaddy sound?"

I whispered as Xadrian ran his fingers along the wolf pendant, his eyes soon meet mine without me having to ask or prompt him.

"X..Xaddy o..is okay."

I smiled and placed a kiss to his forehead. I could see some of the tension leave his body as we came up with an alternative name for the guys to call him but they was something still bothering him was it because the guys were loud and started him or is it that he feels crowded?

"Are you okay Little Wolf?"

Before he could respond the sound of the oven timer going off made him jump and I quickly wrapped my arm around his waist to stop him from falling.

"It's okay it's just the pizza."

I plated up the pizza and placed it on the island behind me before I turned back to Xadrian plucking him off the counter.

"Guys this is Xaddy, my mate. Little Wolf these are my friends, Benji you know then their is Robin, my cousin Liv, Tan, Eva, Car and Kase is upstairs. Hey don't hog all the pizza Benji save some for everyone else their is enough for everyone. I'll get you a slice Pup if you don't like it I'll make you some soup okay."

Okay definitely not the introduction I was going for but it'll do. Fuck why am I so nervous why couldn't Ant do this? No I can do this I don't need him right now.

"It's nice to meet you Xaddy. How about we take our food downstairs to the game room and leave you guys to it. Benji."

A frown crossed my face until Kayson's scent hit my nose. I gave Carlos a grateful smile as he pushed the others out of the kitchen dragging Benji by the collar behind him. A chuckle escaped my lips as Benji complained and whined like a child as he was dragged along the floor. I looked down at Xadrian to see a small smile on his face.

"Idiota. Right let's eat shall we."

I placed Xadrian plate in front of his usual seat placing a kiss to his forehead as he sat down. My eyes met Kayson's as he stood awkwardly in the door way making me sigh.

"Vieni a sederti amore mio."

I turned and went back to the cupboards grabbing another plate and placing down in the seat opposite Xadrian. Xadrian didn't notice Kayson's movement as he moved to take his seat, his eye were focused on the pizza slice that lay between his fingers.

"Una fetta o due, amore mio?"

Kayson's eyes met mine before he looked at Xadrian, Xadrian seemed too fixated on eating his pizza to notice but I could tell he felt comfortable even with Kayson here. Even if he didn't know it his wolf clearly did Winter knew he was with his mates and we would never hurt him.

"Solo uno per favore."

At the sound of Kayson's voice Xadrian's eyes snapped up. Kayson just stared at his plate ignoring Xadrian gaze. Well this is going swimmingly I thought Xadrian meeting the others was bad but this...

Fuck this silence is killing me.

"Amore mio, questa è la nostra anima gemella Xadrian, ma non gli piace essere chiamato così, quindi tutti lo chiamano Xaddy. Little Wolf this is Kayson our mate you remember when we talked about mate?"

Xadrian turned to look at me nodding his head before his eyes moved back to Kayson. I looked over at Kayson see his eyes had darken. I followed his gaze to seem his attention was solely on the scars peaking out from under my t-shirt that Xadrian was wearing.

A haunted look crossed Kayson's features for a slight second before his features hardened once more. The fire from earlier was once again a blaze as he trained his gaze on each scar. I could see the wheels turning in his head as he examined them.

He was a ticking time bomb just waiting to explode. I quickly placed another slice of pizza on Xadrian's plate to distract him before he saw the anger in Kayson's eyes.

"Ci sono cicatrici sul collo? Chi è stato?! Cosa gli è successo?!"

I reached across the table giving his hand a squeeze to calm him down. It almost snapped him out of whatever murderous rampage he was planning but I couldn't still see he wanted to hit something.

"Calmati amore mio, te lo dirò dopo okay, a lui non piace pensarci. Ora mangia la tua pizza sembri affamato."

Kayson gave me that look to say we will definitely discuss it later before he slowly picked up his slice of pizza.

"Di questo ne parleremo più avanti."

Our eyes met in a silent promise before I picked up my own slice and we went back to eating in silence. At least it's not an awkward silence I guess but it's not exactly a comfortable one either. At least they have finally met and it went more or less okay, I should try and get them to talk to each other. Kayson and I talking in Italian probably didn't help.

"So Xadrian after lunch would you like to go back to the library?"

Xadrian looked up at me and smiled what was left of his second slice of pizza still sat between his fingers before he placed it back down on the plate.

"Yes please A..Alec. I'm finished."

A slice and a bit isn't bad, it's still not enough. Kayson looked down at Xadrian's plate and he frowned as well I'll add Xadrian's eating habits to the list of things I need to tell him.

"Okay Pup. Kase do you want to come with us?"

Xadrian looked over at Kayson and I could see the torn look on his face. He wanted Kase to come but he was still unsure about him. I looked at Kayson, he looked just as torn as Xadrian, fuck this is a nightmare.

"No thanks, I'm fine. I'm going to go down to the gym for a bit I'll catch you both later okay."

I sighed but gave Kase the best smile I could; baby steps it is then but I knew the bigger reason why he wasn't coming with us. He was pissed off and even though he and I have changed some old habits haven't.

"Fino a più tardi Alexandro."

Kayson stood up taking the plates off the island and dumping them in the sink I'm amazed they didn't smash at the focus he used to drop them. He stalked towards the door and I quickly caught his arm, watching his body relax at my touch brought me some level of hope that maybe just maybe he'll open up to me the way he used to without hesitation.

"Okay Mio Amore you know where we'll be if you want to come down later okay. Let's go Little Wolf. Ti amo amore mio."
