Chapter Ten: Killing Spree
Antonio's POV:
It took awhile for Xadrian to settle down and go to sleep after his bath. I decided it would just be quicker if I just washed his hair over the sink and then left him to bathe himself in the soapy water. Before I left I place one of my shirts and a pair of boxers next to his towel by the sink. It was unsettling that he didn't quite understand what was going on, much less remember what a warm bath felt like. He told me they used to spray them all down with a freezing cold hose and that was it.
I waited for him on my bed for awhile and just as I was about to go in and check on him he came out, his hair dripping wet and the shirt falling off his shoulder.
"Come here Piccolo."
I watched as his eyes wondered over to the rug before he timidly made his way over to me. I rose from the bed and pulled open the covers before I turned my gaze back to him. He was fiddling with his hands as he looked at the ground making me sigh.
"Piccolo, remember what I said you are not a mutt. Now come and lie down it's time to go to sleep."
He was still hesitant as he climbed onto the bed and it didn't escape my notice as he flinched the second I moved the covers over him. I felt his eyes on me as I moved away from the bed, I stole a glance at him and as I turned to the door I felt him tug on my sleeve.
"M..Master yo..are you leaving?"
I could here the tremor in his voice before he let go of my sleeve. I slowly turned and sat back down beside him. He started shaking as I gently reached out to hold his hand.
"Piccolo look at me, I promised you I would never hurt you remember. I'm not going to leave Pup."
I felt his fingers draw patterns along my palm before he looked up at me. I could see the confliction in his eyes, the bond and presumably is wolf was telling him to trust me but the rules those bastards drilled into his head were still nagging away at him. He still thinks I'm one of them; I need to address this whole Master thing when I get back. He can't keep calling me Master not only is it irritating and fueling my anger it isn't going to help me gain his trust.
He slowly drew is hand from mine and curled up into a ball under the covers closing his eyes. I could feel Alexandro nagging away at me, reminding me that Xadrian is our mate and we should do more to comfort him, to show him we care about him but that's not who I am. I don't do affection or..or love; I protect and I avenge.
I allowed my rage to seep into my veins, to remove an trace of Alexandro from my mind as I made my way downstairs to the kitchen where the guys were waiting for me.
"You boys ready for our hunt?"
Their smirks mirrored my own and I could practically see them itching in their seats to go. I guess I'm not the only one who's dying for a bit of action. I could feel Caden bouncing around like a playful pup in my head, his eagerness to go on our little killing spree matched my own only increase my need to destroy every slave house near and around my town. The rest will just have to wait their turn by their time will come and then the auction houses are next.
"Shall we."
I felt my eyes turn orange and my claws extended before I allowed to my bones to break and reform. A wolf grin split across my face as I sprinted out the door to my first target the guys on my heals. I swear I was more animal then I was man; hell I don't even think I was even an animal when I reached the first house if you could even call it that. I don't know what I am anymore all I know is I want blood and the guards at the door will feel my wrath.
I crashed into the first guard using his body to kick off as I latched onto the second guards shoulder. My jaws looked around the man's throat, my claws buried deep into his shoulder to steady me as I ripped his throat open he didn't even have time to scream but I still had the other guard. I dislodged my claws from the lifeless corpse ripping the head clean off before I span round the head still wedged between my jaws. The guard's eyes widened and he tried to run from me, didn't he know a chase is the best part of hunting.
His screams was music to my fucking ears as I ripped him apart limb by limb. I used my claws to strip away the Vikings symbol on his neck, the symbol of wealth; of a Master.
"Now Antonio; a little restraint please. There is plenty to go around and they'll all have their turn."
My head snapped up at the sound of Drayden's voice, my muzzle dripping of blood as I stepped away from what was left of my second kill. The three of them were just stood there watching me leant against the door as they waited for me to finish. I looked back at my work, seeing bits of flesh and limbs scattered around me blood soaking the ground, my fur and paws.
Where would be the fun in showing restraint, I'm going to enjoy every second of this.
I could faintly hear Drayden speaking but I paid him no attention like he said there would be plenty of Masters to go around; they can still have their fun but right now I'm done waiting around, I want to bathe in the blood of my enemies.
I darted in ahead of them, killing the next three guards who dared to charge at me. I didn't waste my time killing them slowly, I just ripped their heads clean off their bodies letting their heads roll down the corridor. I've got bigger prey to chase and kill they are just the appetizers as I work my way to the main course.
An alarm sounded and the lights went out making me smirk. Do they really think this would scare me away, that it would slow me down then they are wrong. If this is there so called security and defence system then it's pitiful. I wonder if all the warehouse will be this easy because this will be a short and easy night.
Such sweet chaos greeted me as an army of guards stood in the way of me and the so called Masters they swore to protect. They weren't Masters or guards, they were slaves just like all the others; slaves to the venom that the Masters pumped into their system to make them into their mindless pets it's a shame I feel no pity for them but they brought on themselves when they sold their souls to the devil.
My claws dug into skin, teeth biting, puncturing flesh. Blood spraying the concrete floor and my fur dying them a crimson red. Cold dead eyes were staring up at me as I cut down guard after guard.
Such beautiful chaos, such elegant carnage. I pounced off one guard onto the next, digging my claws into ones back turning his body to take the bullets that were fired and meant for me. I smirked as a look of panic plastered their once blank faces. I ran my claws down stomachs watching as blood and guts spewed out of my next targets. I grazed my canines across throats resulting in blood spraying across my fur, decorating the stone walls with colour. I locked my jaws around throats crushing them before I torn into them severing heads from bodies. The closer I got to the Masters the less time the guards had to reaction, they were dead in a matter of seconds.
I felt the guys eyes on me from behind as they beheld the bittersweet carnage I had brought in my wake. What can I say my father taught me how to kill my enemies. I still find it hard to believe that one person could killed him, that one of these Master's could take him down when I had slaughter so many in a matter of minutes. He used to say your enemies won't play fair so why should you. He taught me how to fight all sorts of creatures and yet he still a managed to balance his life, the fair and loved Alpha with the dangerous and deadly Leader. He was the exception to that rule, that a man can be both fair but deadly but me; I'm a whole different type of animal.
My animal side was out and most would say I was out of control, completely feral but this is just the way I am. I'm more dangerous then a feral rogue wolf, I was something else; something dangerous. I was something to be feared.
I ripped the last Master wide open, encaging it's heart in my jaws before I served it from the man's chest. Each death was more savage then the last, some died quickly, some slowly but by the time I was through the halls were filled with nothing but bodies, limps, organs and heads. Blood coated the floor and sprayed the walls like paint on a canvas. I have to say I was expecting more of a fight but this is just one of many building we will be covering tonight. My blood lust has only grown since I got here, I wonder I the others had as much fun as I have.
I began to wander through each and every room checking I had killed all the Masters and out of curiosity searching for any sign of my Pup's scent. I want to know if this was the place he was tortured in not that it really mattered. I'm still planning on slaughtering all the Masters and setting the building a light with all their bodies inside but I know it would please Caden and myself if we knew once and for all that the place where our Pup was held was destroyed.
After finding no trace of my Pup I headed outside where the guys were waiting, I could sense that they had already let the prisoner go so it was time to move on.
I pointlessly shook the blood off my fur as I gazed up at the moon. Forget what I said about this being a short and easy night, this is going to be one long and one hell of a night but I'm not complaining let the hunt continue and may the chaos and carnage endure.
