Xadrian's POV:
I need to be good. I need to keep quiet with my head down. Remember the rules but are they still the rules?

After my new master lowed me down onto a soft surface and left the room without a word I jumped with great difficulty off what I now recognised as a bed; his bed.

My neck burned and I felt unsteady on my paws as I stood in the middle of the room. I nearly tripped over my paws a few times as I stumbled to a fur rug near the window. This must be where I'm sleeping but then why did Master put me on his bed? Doesn't he know I'm not allowed on the bed? Maybe he just forgot or he wasn't thinking and just put me down there, maybe he's just tired.

But what if I was meant to stay on the bed? No mutt's aren't allowed on beds we sleep on the floor. Master must be testing me.

I found myself subconsciously sniffing the air allowing my eyes to take in Master's room. Everything was a mix of greys and black, I guess Master doesn't like colour. His room was very simple a few books were scattered around on a shelf, a fur blanket was draped over the bed and there were three doors one Master had left from and the two others but I didn't go near them; I don't think Master would like me walking around his room.

I just drew my attention to my rug, the dark grey fur rug felt nice and fluffy under my paw and was certainly different to the cold hard floor I was used to. Even at that other place were Master took me from the floor was cold and hard.

My eyes slowly opened after my nap and I found myself back in human form dangling in the air with nothing but that bag that I was in to cover me. It was dark like my old cell and all I could hear was loud banging sounds, each bang got louder and louder making me shiver. I don't like it here.

What if Red Master found me?! He'll kill me I know he will, I ran away and didn't listen to him. I broke so many rules.

Another bang that sounded like a door slamming made me jump pulling me out of my head. I pull on the chains holding me in the air trying to escape but the sound of clanging just made my ears ring. I shut my eyes as I waited for the ring to stop.

A felt a presences in front of me and my eyes shot open. I came face to face with a shadow all I could make out were his glowing red eyes and white, sharp teeth that were forming a grin.

I remember the way my heart knocked against my ribs as the shadow unclipped the chains and allowed me to fall to the hard floor. The shadow pulled me up by my hair and a cry escaped my lips. A vile sound left his lips as he threw me into a cage, it was small, like a crate but it had metal bars all around it. It smelled different, so many scents hit me and none of them were nice. I wasn't the first person who was put in this cage and I bit back a whimper as my mind raced with possibilities of what could have happened to people before me.

I didn't have a clue what was really happening, I couldn't see anything as the cage was placed on a wooden surface in front of bright lights surrounded my other cages. Even when a man was yelling at us as he took us out of the cages, I was still confused that is until Master said I was his, that's when it all clicked.

My new Master.

I didn't get a good look at Master. I know his hair is dark almost pitch black, his eyes were so cold when he looked at me, they were a bluish black and he was tall and scary looking.

I wonder if he'll be like Red Master.

I didn't like it when he yelled and the way he glared at the lady that attacked me made me shake what if he hits me or yells at me like that. I don't want to upset him after all he did save me from that lady. I don't really understand why she was so angry at me.

Master wouldn't have brought me if he didn't want me. It doesn't make sense if he got me just to get that lady's attention. He could have just asked the lady to go with him but he gave me his mark. He basically told everyone in that room that I was his at least I think that's what he did. My neck burned like when Master Red marked me. It was still burning now making a whimper escaped me lips as I settled down moving my neck as I got into a comfy position.

I thought I heard something and my eyes snapped up. I looked around for Master but he still hadn't returned.

I don't like being in here alone, I can remember what the man at that other place was yelling at us now, how we had to do whatever our Master's wanted. Even Red Master told me I had to do what he said and he was a Master so what does my new Master want me to do.

I whimpered again before I looked around again, afraid Master would come in and hit me for making a sound.

But nothing no Master, no yelling; just silence.

Maybe, maybe he's not like Red Master, maybe he's different? That wolf, Gio was tall and scary looking a bit like Red Master and he was nice to me. I wonder if Master is like Gio but then why was he at that horrible place. Maybe it's because he's a Master and Gio wasn't or at least I don't think he was.

I sighed rested my head in my paws trying to make myself as small as possible in the corner of the rug so I wasn't in the way when Master returned. I don't know if I can trust my Master and that scares me I don't like not knowing what to expect. There is nothing familiar here well I'm alone that's familiar and once again my only company is pain and loneliness. My mind started to drift as I allowed myself to sink into the rug, everything that has happened is starting to catch up with me and I'm starting to feel tired again but Master will be back soon, I need to stay awake.

"Did you think you could escape me Mutt? Did you think I wouldn't be able to find you, don't think just because you've found yourself another Master that I won't come for you."

I shivered as my eyes opened and the sound of his voice made my body shiver. I ran to the corner of a room I didn't recognize and made myself small. I rocked myself backwards and forwards pulling my legs to my chest.

How did he find me?! Where am I?! I was in Master's room on that nice rug how did I ended up here?

"Are you hiding from me Mutt?"

His voice was getting closer but I didn't dare look up to see where he was. I was still racking my brain as to how I ended up here. Was I still in Master's house? Why was Master? Did...did he know I was Red Master's? Did..did he give me back to Red Master?

"Come out come out wherever you are?"

What if Red Master killed Master? It will be all my fault, I killed someone else, someone else is dead because of me.

"Are you wondering where your so called Master is?"

I felt my heart drop as he mentioned my new Master. I don't know what to think did he betray me or did he die for me? I could hear the footsteps getting louder and I jumped from the corner running towards a door. I need to run, my body was worked on its own as I pushed the door open. I slammed my body against the door take deep breaths. I wanted to call out for my Master but what if Red Master found me instead or Master is working with Red Master.

"Come out Mutt and your punishment will be lighter."

It's a trick, he always says that. He just smiles and punishes me the way he always does. There is no lighter punishment.

My eyes caught a sink and a mirror and I slowly moved away from the door, this has to be a dream. I just need to splash some water on my face, this can't be real.

I brought my head up looking at myself in the mirror. Water was dripping down my face and I was still here, it's..it's not a dream. I could hear my heart beating in my ears as a fist slammed into the mirror missing my head by a few inches. I squeak escaped my lips as I span round Red Master was stood in front of me smiling.

"Found you."

I screamed as I hit the floor holding my cheek as it started to sting. Red Master gripped my chin making me look at him and his face shifted my Red Master's to Master's.

"I'm coming for you Mutt. Your mine."

A screamed rippled its way through my throat and my eyes shot open. I jumped off the soft surface that I was on top of and raced to the corner of the room. My body shook as I rocked backwards and forwards, pressing my legs to my chest and my head to the top of my knees. It was a dream. Just a dream; Red Master's not here, he's..he's not.

I flinched and screamed as I felt a hand on my shoulder. He found me.
