Maia sighed as the chauffeur opened the door. Evie stepped out first with a smile on her face, then Mal with a grumpy face like Maia expected. Then Maia stepped out, accidentally pushing Mal due to being pushed herself by the two boys who were fighting over a blanket.

As soon as they got out of the car Maia hit them over the heads and pulled them off each other. "The pair of you behave or so help me god I will lose my temper." Maia whispered at him. They stood up and Maia snatched the blanket off Carlos and threw it back in the car.

Maia took a moment to look around at all the different students and the band. It was a bit over the top. her eyes caught a blond boy for a moment but she just snarled him instead, not really wishing to talk to anyone right now.

A short woman walked forward with two students behind her. "Guys, we have an audience." Mal muttered.

"Just cleaning up." Jay told them and laughed.

"Leave it like you found it," The woman said with an unusually high voice. Mal and Maia shared an amused glance. "And by that I mean just leave it."

Jay took a step forward and focused his eyes on the girl with curly brown hair and a pink cardigan. "Hello foxy," He said, flirting with her. "The names Jay."

Maia laughed quietly and it seemed she wasn't the only one. The blond boy across from her seemed amused as well. "Jay," Maia called out. "Not now, you can flirt later."

Jay rolled his eyes but stepped back nevertheless, when Maia told you to do something, you did it.

"Welcome to Auradon Prep. I'm Fairy Godmother, Headmistress." The woman said and all of their ears perked up.

"The Fairy Godmother?" Mal asked suddenly. "As in bibbidi-bobbidi-boo?"

Fairy Godmother nodded. "Bibbidi-bobbidi you know it!"

Mal seemed to be going a little over the top. "Yeah I always wondered what it was like for Cinderella when you just, appeared out of nowhere. With that sparkly wand and warm smile."

"She's being way too obvious right now." Maia muttered so only Evie could hear but kept a smile on her face.

"I know." Evie whispered back. "Off topic, but that cute blond boy has been staring at you for five minutes."

"No he hasn't, shut up." Maia denied but when she glanced over, his eyes were on her as he whispered something to Ben.

"And that sparkling wand." Mal repeated and Maia and Evie snickered quietly under their breath.

"That was a long time ago," Fairy Godmother said and smiled. "As I always say, don't focus on the past or you'll miss the future!"

Maia snorted and all eyes were on her. Mal and the others looked in amusement while the Auradon kids were a bit shocked and Fairy Godmother seemed to be judging her. "I'm sorry. Don't mind me, just...carry on into the future." She told Fairy Godmother.

The blond boy laughed this time but the headmistress paid him no mind. The brunet boy standing behind her stepped forward. "It's so good to finally meet you all," He said. "I'm Ben."

"Prince Benjamin," The curly haired girl added. "Soon to be King!" The girl seemed more excited than he was.

Maia paid no mind to what Evie said, she was to busy judging the curly haired girl and it seemed she wasn't the only one. The blond boy and hispanic girl across seemed to be judging as well. The hispanic girl shot her a quick smile when she realised the three of them were all doing the same thing.

"This is Audrey." Ben said with clear fake enthusiasm.

"Princess Audrey," She added snobbishly. She grabbed Ben's hand. "His girlfriend. Right Benny Boo?"

Maia was covering her mouth right now to stop herself from laughing.

"Ben and Audrey are gonna show you all around," Fairy Godmother said. "I'll see you tomorrow. The doors of wisdom are never shut! But the library hours are from 8:00 to 11:00 and as you may have heard I have a little thing about curfews."

She walked off with the rest of the band and Ben stepped forward. "It is so, so good to finally meet you all," Ben said. Jay punched him in the chest as a friendly gesture, although Maia realised he meant to shake hands. "This is a momentous occasion and one that I hope will go down in history...is that chocolate?...as the day our two people began to heal."

"Or the day that you showed five people where the bathrooms are." Mal joked, but Maia actually really did need the toilet.

"A little bit over the top?" Ben asked.

"More than a little bit." Mal answered.

"So much for your first impression." The blond boy laughed behind him.

Audrey noticed Ben and Mal staring at each other. "hey! You're Maleficent's daughter aren't you?" She asked.

Maia groaned. "Here we go."

"Yeah you know what? I totally do not blame you for your mother trying to kill my parents and stuff," She told Mal who didn't answer and looked at Maia. "Oh, my mom's Aurora. Sleeping-"

"Beauty," Maia finished, coming to her sister's aid. "Yeah, we've heard the name."

Mal nodded. "And I totally do not blame your grandparents for inviting the whole world for inviting everyone in the whole world, but my mother, to their stupid christening."

"I'm up for a cat fight." The hispanic girl muttered, who gave Maia a jump because she didn't know the girl was there. "I'm Hallie."

Maia didn't answer.

"Water under the bridge." Audrey said and her and Mal gave the fakest laugh Maia had ever heard.

"Okay!" Ben clapped his hands together. "So how about a tour? Auradon Prep, originally built 300 years ago and converted into a high school when my father became King." They all began to follow Audrey and Ben. Ben clapped his hands and suddenly the state of his father turned into a beast, Carlos screamed and jumped into Jay's arms. "Carlos, it's okay. My father wanted his statue to morph from Beast to man to remind us that anything is possible."

"Does he shed much?" Maia asked randomly.

"Yeah, mom won't let him on the couch." Ben replied. Maia thought he was joking until she realised he was serious.

"Wait is he serious?" Maia questioned quietly and the blond boy smiled and nodded with a small laugh next to her.

They walked inside to see a very clean interior, absolutely nothing like back on the isle. "So, do you guys have a lot of magic here at Auradon?" Mal asked.

"Yeah, it exists of course," Ben confirmed. "But it's pretty much retired. Most of us here are just ordinary mortals."

"Who just happen to be Kings and Queens." Maia added sarcastically from next to Hallie, who had stuck close to her as they walked in.

Audrey perked up. "That's true! Our royal blood goes back hundreds of years." She said while putting Ben's arm around her shoulders. Although, she did back down when she got judging looks from both girls.

Ben laughed awkwardly. "Doug! Doug, come down," A boy still in band uniform came down the stairs. "This is Doug. He's gonna help you with your class schedules and show you the rest of the dorms. I'll see you later okay? And if you need anything, feel free to-"

"Ask Doug." Audrey interrupted, the jealousy radiating off her. They walked off quickly.

"Jesus, could she get any more stuck up?" Maia muttered.

"You might have to get used to it," Hallie told her. "She's like this all the time." Maia huffed.

Doug spoke up. "Hi guys, I'm Doug. I'm Dopey's son? As in Dopey, Doc, Bashful, Happy, Grumpy, Sleepy and..."

"Sneezy?" Maia finished when he couldn't remember the last one.

Doug didn't say thank you because Maia realised he got distracted by Evie so Hallie grabbed Maia's arm and pulled her away, planning on giving a tour herself, except the blond boy began following them.

"Hey!" Mal called out. "Why are you taking her a different way?"

"Because our dorms are this way," The blond boy answered, Maia was frustrated she still didn't know his name. "You guys are that way because you're in a different grade to ours. The older kids are this way."

Mal and the others went to say something but she shook her head. "It's fine, I can handle myself. Go."
