Full concept teaser
It was an unbelievably cold and stormy day in a snowy valley. All creatures living in the area were forced to hide in their homes or dens to keep themselves warm from the storm. The sky was covered in dark clouds as strong gusts of wind blows by, picking up some snow as it blows by.
No one's POV,
Winter
Somewhere near the center of the valley stood a lone castle surrounded by a deep frozen trench. The castle looks dark and appears to be ancient, having no signs of life anywhere. Ice seems to have frozen the walls by a few feet all around the exterior of the castle. The bridge that connected the front gate and the outside world over the trench was gone, seems to have been destroyed a long time ago, preventing any thing to enter or leave the castle, giving the place an ominous look.
Three beings approaches the castle on the other side of the trench. One was an "ordinary" gray wolf, the other was a woman wearing... rather revealing clothing for this kind of weather while holding a spear, and a man in golden armor with a cape on his back.
The woman had long, smooth long black hair that went all the way to her feet and gorgeous red eyes that stood out over her while skin. Her clothing was a long back dress mixed with white, red, and gold and had a black fur collar that wraps around her shoulders. The spear she held in her palm was crafted beautifully that matches her dress's colors.
The man and wolf stood side by side as the woman stayed behind by a foot, who doesn't even looked fazed by how cold the air was.
The man wore gold and silver armor. His shoulder gauntlets had what looked like tree branches and leaves decorated on them. His chest piece had the head of wolves to the sides and the tree in the middle, which continues to his helmet. He had a black cape that had fur around the collar and a golden symbol on the back. The symbol was two gauntlets holding a battle axe in their hands and a shield behind them.
The trio stood in silence as they studied the castle in front of them. Soon, the wolf suddenly howls into the air as its body was surrounded by a gray magic circle and engulfed in a bright light, but for only a moment before its body suddenly transforms into a woman, but still keeping the ears.
She had long white hair that went all the way to her back. She has two golden braces in her hair that held a stand of hair by her brown eyes. She wore fancy clothes that were decorated in purple, black, and white colors.
(^If anyone knows who this girl is, please let me know, thanks^)
The woman shivers a little bit as she lets out a breath, which can be seen as she rubs her arms to try and keep herself warm. "S-shit... s-so cold..." The wolf woman mutters and whines like a dog. Her ears flattens as she looks at her group with an uncomfortable look.
"..." The other two don't say anything. The first woman simply giggles at the other's pain with a small smile on her lips. The man however, still kept his attention on the castle.
The wolf girl continues to whine as she huffs and turns back to the castle. When her back was turned away from the woman holding the spear, the latter raises an arm and summons a magic circle in her hand before summoning fire beside the wolf girl, giving her warmth. The wolf girl turns back to her and smiles a bit. "T-thanks..." She mutters before turning back to the fire and drops to her knees and puts her hands out to the fire to keep herself warm.
"Of course, sweetheart~." The woman holding her spear says with her usual mature, sensual voice. She lowers her hand before casually twirling her spear between her fingers. She then walks up to the man in armor's other side and looks at him, still smiling. "What's the plan, y/n~?"
"..." The man, y/n, doesn't say anything. He simply looks at the woman over his shoulder in silence. As he did, a small orb materializes by his shoulder and hovers in the air as it's light was staring at her.
The orb had two colors; gold and silver. The gold was on the lower half of its shell as the silver was on the upper half. It was decorated in leaves and branches like y/n's armor. It's ball in the center was blue and there was a small spot of orange on the top as well.
"Well, if it wasn't obvious enough- we go in." The orb says casually in its male robotic voice.
The woman nods as her smile grows a little to a smirk, humming. "Would you two like any assistance~?" She asks as her red eyes glows a hint of amber for a brief moment.
"..." Y/n still doesn't say anything. He slowly looks back at the castle then to their other female partner, who was still trying to warm herself up by the fire. He stares deeply at her under his helmet for a moment before walking up to her, the orb still floating in the air.
"Huh?" The wolf girl looks over her shoulder and saw y/n approaching her way, making her eyes widen. "O-oh!" She yells before quickly getting up and scoots to the side and out of y/n's way, letting out an embarrassed chuckle.
Y/n places a hand in front of the flames. He then turns towards the castle as his hand doesn't move. Some of the flames were sucked into his palm and everyone watches in silence as the palm was being consumed by the flames. He places his hand by his waist before lifting it in the air and summons a flaming battle axe in his hand, before using his other hand to hold it as well.
Y/n twists the axe in his hands to get a more comfortable hold on it and squeezes the grips of it. The orb floats to his sides and looks at him. "You ready?" It asks as its shell twists.
Y/n turns to the orb and nods. "I am, Ghost." He says, his voice deep and a bit scratchy.
"Good. Lets find, kill that ogre, and get out as soon as possible!" The orb, Ghost, says before dissolving into nothing.
"Good luck!/Have fun~." The two girls say as they sat by the fire together, still watching y/n.
Y/n looks at the two of them before nodding his head and then back to the castle. He took a step forward as the wind blows by, his cape caught in it. When he was by the edge of the destroyed bridge, he steps back before running forward and leaps into the air by several feet. He jumps over the frozen trench and rolls onto the other side of the bridge and straightens to his feet. He stumbles for a second but quickly recovers and turns to the two women.
The two wave at him to silently let him know that they'll be fine and won't go anywhere. The wolf girl howls into the air in excitement as the black haired woman simply smirks at y/n.
Y/n stares at the two for a few seconds before turning around to the castle. He saw that the castle's entrance was closed and looked like it wasn't going to budge. Without much thought, he charges forward, shoulder first, and bashes through the doors, ripping them off their hinges and shatters the wood into countless pieces and sending them flying inside. He quickly relaxes himself and began to walk into the castle dark, using his flaming axe as his light or torch.
Later...
Y/n has been exploring the castle for a while. He's lost track of time as he explores the interior of the place. As he explored the halls, he noticed that the place was old and lifeless, not a single sound of any sort except for the occasional gust of wind that blows by, his feet walking, and the fire in his axe burning. Dried blood were occasionally splattered on the walls or floor with old skeletons, either in knight armor or civilian clothing with cobwebs on them, nearby, indicating that whatever happened to this place happened a very long time ago. Banners and any type of cloth were torn to shreds and were scattered across the floors. Y/n spotted dozens of holes in the walls all over the place, either by explosions or a somewhat large creature/creatures that would lead to the outside.
As he explores deeper inside, he noticed that something was clearly off. Rooms would gradually have bigger holes in the walls and the rooms and hallways would be coated in ice, not snow or frost. Dozens of bodies of both living knights and civilians would also be frozen solid in ice as they looked like they were trying to flee from something deeper within the castle, horror and fear all over their faces. Knights would sometimes stay behind with either swords and shields, and even bow and arrows or crossbows in hand as the civilians fled, but it was all in vane as all of them were covered in ice that seemed to have been blown in their direction.
"Strange..." Ghost says as it materializes by y/n's shoulder when he passes by the frozen library, following him as he continues to walk down the hallway. "I don't understand what would have done this. We were told that ogres had attacked and invaded this place centuries ago, and made it their home when the people fled. But it looks like the people were...running away from something but were frozen and left behind..." It mutters as it would occasionally float into rooms that y/n passes as he continues to explore, before quickly returning to him.
"I don't know either, Ghost." Y/n says as he glances into another frozen room. "I'm starting to think we were lied to by that tyrant..." He mutters as he walk to an crossway and turns to a different hallway.
"That is a possibility..." Ghost mutters as it follows right behind him.
Y/n took a couple of more steps before they heard a yell-like roar echoing from all directions, shaking the ground a little bit. Y/n stops walking as he looks around to see if something was going to attack them. Ghost watches his back as it's shell suddenly expands and releases a blue sphere around its ball. The roar soon stops and the ground stops shaking, causing y/n to ease a little bit and Ghost's shell returns to normal.
"That...definitely wasn't from an ogre..." Ghost mutters as it looks around more.
"Can you track where the roar came from?" Y/n asks quickly, ignoring Ghost's comment. He slowly turns to Ghost but still looks around, his guard up.
"I believe so? But because we just went in a crossway, I can only guess." Ghost turns to y/n.
"It's better than nothing." Y/n responds.
"Right." Ghost says before looking between where they just came from and further down the hallway they were going through He then turns back to where they came from and twists its shell. "I believe it came from this direction." It says before floating down the hall, y/n following close behind it.
...
Several more minutes passes by. The two went through several different hallways and turns before finding the exit of the hallways and into the massive courtyard at the center of the castle. There the area was much different compared to everywhere else.
The floor wasn't completely frozen in ice but had what could have been ice breath attacks all over the place. There were dozens of knights scattered across the area that were all running away from something. Food stalls and other wooden objects were either covered in ice or shattered to shreds. At the center of it, the ground had a massive magic circle covering the stone ground.
"Strange..." Ghost mutters as it floats to the magic circle and studies it. Y/n walks through the knights and glances between each and every one of them until he was right behind Ghost and kneels in front of the circle. His hand gently brushes along the circle and noticed that it was engraved into the floor. "..."
"...Was this used to summon-?"
A low rumble was suddenly heard from the other side of the courtyard. The two look up and saw a massive hole and a shadow moving in what could have possibly been the King's throne room. Y/n looks around to find somewhere to hide before quickly getting behind a frozen food stand near him as Ghost floats right beside him. After the rumble calms down, y/n slowly pokes his head out as Ghost floats over him to see what caused the rumble. They saw a massive silhouette slowly walk out of the hole and into the courtyard. Each step it took causes a small tremor. When whatever steps out of the shadows and into the light, y/n's eyes widen under his helmet.
The creature was a massive slouching creature that was at least fifty feet tall. It had icy blue skin as its skin had frost covering its shoulders, back, and knees. Its beer belly jiggles with each step it took. It's feet had only three fat toes in front and one small one in the back of its heel. Its four fingers had long, overgrown, and dirty fingernails with a massive club held in its right hand. It's arms reached as long as its knees, with broken chains dangling and attached a little from around the wrists. It wore some kind of fur cloth around its crotch like underwear. It had one giant red eye that scans the courtyard for anything out of the ordinary with no brow. It had a pair of pointy ears, but the one on the right appears to have half of it ripped off. It had two tusks by the sides of its mouth with its left one chipped near the tip and small icicles dangling off the tips. Its mouth was agape, revealing some of its yellow and uneven sharp teeth, which had some dried blood on them. (If you want a reference to what it looks like, basically look up Dragon's Dogma cyclops, but add my own stuff to it)
"Rüdarr...?" It mumbles in confusion while looking around and walking slowly due to how massive it was.
"Is that...?" Ghost says as it studies the creature.
The creature barley heard Ghost and lets out a low growl-like noise. "Düfovv...?" It slowly turns its head towards where the two were as it lets out a cold huff, causing the two to full hide behind the stand. Ghost disappears as y/n waits for the creature to loose interest and look away again.
'Damnit, Ghost. You might've blown our cover.' Y/n though with a hint of anger. He could feel the tremors move again but away from them, causing him to cautiously poke his head out again.
'Sorry, y/n. Forgot about that...' Ghost replies in y/n's head. 'But what I was going to say is that I believe that thing is a Frost Cyclops.'
'I think so too. But how did the hell did it get inside the castle?'
The cyclops walks towards the knights and kneels next to them to study them closely, sniffing around them for some reason. "Mërderrr..."
'Perhaps that magic circle in the center of the courtyard summoned it here?'
'That's a possibility...' Y/n thought as he saw the cyclops slowly stand back up, its back exposed to him.
"Podürrr..." It starts to turn around and make its way back to its hole, loosing interest.
'But that means the ogres were a-.'
'A coverup...' Y/n finishes, his thoughts slowly trails off, before realizing something and sneers. 'That fat bastard lied to us...' He thought sternly.
'I wouldn't doubt it...' Ghost replies before sighing. 'What do we do now? Do we get the others to help us or-?'
'...No need.' Y/n thought before getting up and starts to walk out from his cover.
'Oh don't you dare do that I think you're about to do.' Ghost whines.

As it spoke, y/n carries his flaming axe in one hand as the other takes off his cape and tosses it behind where his cover was before walking after the Frost Cyclops. When that was done, he uses his free hand to summon what looks to be a grenade in his palm free palm as he glares at the creature under his helmet.
The Frost Cyclops continues to walk back to its hole and was about halfway there, before something pokes his back and suddenly explodes before it could turn around, sending it stumbling forward by a few feet as it cries in pain. But it didn't take long for it to recover its footing and straighten up. When it did, it turns around and growls, pissed. Its one eye scans the area for what hit him until-.
"Down here!" Y/n's voice was heard below.
"???" The Cyclops looks down and saw y/n standing several feet away, squinting its one eye. "...!" Its eyebrow burrows as it clenches it's fists in anger, snarling. "Shnitar püttër schmok!" It slams its right foot on the ground, causing a stronger tremor as the floor cracks underneath its strength. It releases a yell-like roar of rage and releases a cold breath, blowing cold wind towards y/n.
"..." Y/n stabs the end of his axe into the ground as the wind hits him and blows by. His cloth attached to his waist blows along the wind as he used both hands to keep his hold on his weapon in order to withstand the roar. His feet began to slip against the floor as he uses all his strength to not let go, grunting as he does. 'D-damn! This Cyclops is powerful!'
'It's a rare species of Cyclops! They have the ability to manipulate ice and are a lot stronger compared to regular cyclopes!'
'Think I haven't noticed?!'
Soon the roar ends. It growls as y/n relaxes his grip on his axe and pulls it out of the ground, panting a little. "Grovock mënëmtor..." It mutters, causing y/n to look up and stare at it.
The two stare at each other dead in the eye(s) and glare at the other in silence. Y/n took this moment to catch his breath and get a better grip on his battle axe. The cyclops growls again as it grips its club harder.
Snow starts to fall. When the first snowflake touches the ground, the two suddenly charging forward. The Cyclops raises its club over its head and was about to smash y/n with it as the latter pulls out another grenade and threw it at the cyclops's eye. It explodes upon impact and made the creature blind for a moment as it shuts its eye close, roaring in pain, and swings its club wildly.
Y/n uses this moment to slide between its legs as it misses hitting him. When he was behind the creature, he spun around before jumping in the air, raising his axe, and slams the tail of it into the ground. Most of its flames transfer into and under the ground and a trail of fire travels underneath the cyclops's feet before suddenly bursting out of the ground, creating a small tornado of flames. The cyclops roars in pain as it stumbles forward from the impact and trips on its own two feet, crashing into the ground.
Seeing it as his opportunity, y/n charges forward again and was about attack again, until the cyclops suddenly slams its free fist into the ground, creating an icy blue magic circle around itself. Before y/n could stop himself, pillars of ice burst out of the ground and into the air by several feet. Y/n's armored chest was hit by one of the pillars, somehow not leaving a dent in it, and was sent flying by several feet. He accidentally lets go of his axe as he was sent flying, causing it to dry up and shatter like ash. He crashes into one of the frozen knights and shatters it as he hits the ground, grunting.
"S-shit..." Y/n mumbles as he slowly pulls himself up on his feet.
"Oogver..." The cyclops mutters as it too got back on its feet. The magic circle and pillars of ice disappear when it got back on its feet. It turns around and roars into the air again. A magic circle was summoned in front of its mouth before it lets out a strong ice breath attack at y/n, who's eyes widen in shock as he gets up.
He reacts as a purple glow illuminates his body and quickly spreads his arms and legs out, creating a purple bubble around him.
The ice-breath attack collides with y/n's bubble but doesn't faze through. Instead, the bubble acted as a wall and the ice coats around and above the bubble, freezing everything around it. Y/n's face scrunches up and grits his jaw as he does everything he could to concentrate and not let the bubble break.
"C-come on..." He mutters angrily through his gritted teeth, mainly to himself.
Soon the ice attack ends as the magic circle in front of the cyclops's mouth disappears. "Hüdocks smogg!" It growls.
It saw everything around where y/n was was coated in ice. Seeing no sign of y/n within all the ice, it huffs. It was about to turn around until it heard the ice cracking. It turns back with a confused look until the ice suddenly shatters into millions of pieces. Y/n was kneeling as his axe was in his hands and its tail stabbed into the ground, though the flames were extinguished.
"Don't...think you've won...just yet..." Y/n says through his heavy breathing, feeling exhausted after that last attack. But he pushes himself through it and looks up at the creature with a cold look. He slowly stands up as the cyclops glares at him.
"Düfovv thrëthral." It says deeply, feeling its rage build up inside.
"Same to you, fatty." Y/n mutters.
As if it knew what y/n says, it growls again before going for another charge. Y/n doesn't respond until the creature was right on top of him it swings its club horizontally and y/n rolls out of the way just in time so it misses. He moves in to its legs and starts to swing his axe at its feet. Though they weren't enough to dig deep into the monster's thick skin, it did leave small cuts that made the cyclops roar in anger again. It looks down and tried to smack y/n with its free hand, only for him to leap back just in time from being hit. Y/n didn't pay attention to the other hand before suddenly remembering it. But it was too late as he looks and was face to face with the club, which hits him and sends him flying into and crashing through a wall as his axe dissolves again.
When he hits the ground, he coughs and wheezes as some of the dust rushes into the crack between his helmet and neck and filled his lungs. He tried to get up but the cyclops ran through the wall and grabs him in its massive palm. Y/n tries to break free, but the grip the monster had on him was too strong for him.
"L-let. Me. Go!" Y/n demands.
"Tëthrëral!" It shouts back. It spun around and threw y/n out of the hole and across the courtyard, smashing him into a thicker wall and creating a crater around him.
"Fu-ack!" Y/n grunts and gasps for air, feeling the wind knocked out of him from the impact.
Before he could even hit the ground, the cyclops was upon him somehow. It grabs him before smashing him deeper into the wall and drags him across it, causing him to grunt and yell in pain. After a while, the cyclops pulls him out of the wall and slams him into the ground, creating another crater around him. He gasps again as he could feel his conscious fading. But before he could even do anything, the cyclops smashes him with its foot on him as hard as it could, making an even deeper and wider crater.
Y/n could feel almost all of his bones snapping and his breathing stopping from the force of the cyclops's weight. His forehead was bleeding along with several other parts of his body from all the damage he took. His mind was going blank as his irises fade as all the life of him dies. The cyclops stomps on him again as his lifeless body doesn't try to fight back.
Feeling satisfied, the cyclops huffs before bringing its foot up to see the damage it made. There, it saw the bloody and lifeless body surrounded by a pool of his own blood. He doesn't move or breath, causing the cyclops to let out a deep chuckle. "Polgündof." It says before spitting on his corpse. It turns around and walks back to its lair was while resting its club on its shoulder.
As it was leaving, Ghost materializes over y/n's corpse. "Oh, crap. This one really doesn't like you." It says as its shell expands. A bright light illuminates from Ghost's orb before coating around y/n's bloodied corpse.
After a moment, it glows brightly for a second before disappearing as y/n suddenly jolts up and gasps for air, causing Ghost's shell to return to normal.
"I tried as much as I could, but your body took a massive amount of damage and-."
"D-doesn't matter..." Y/n mutters before slowly getting up. He grunts and moans in pain as he could feel some of his ribs still cracked. "I'll get him this time..."
"H-hold on just a second, y/n! You seriously-!"
When y/n stood on his feet, he clenched his fists as he saw the cyclops near the entrance to its lair, causing his blood to boil. Suddenly, his body's temperature rises exponentially as his body was engulfed in flames. He moves his right hand and a flaming hammer as hot as the sun was summoned in his hand.
He suddenly threw the hammer at the cyclops and manages to hit its back. The cyclops stumbles yet again as it roars, but was cut off when the hammer's heat increases before suddenly exploding. The cyclops stabs its club into the ground and held onto it to prevent itself from falling. But that didn't help as it received another hit on its back, then another, and another. After the fifth one, it pushes itself on its feet and whips around to face y/n. "Smodto-!" It doesn't finish speaking as it was hit in the face by another hammer that explodes.
The whole time y/n was running at the cyclops as he continued to throw his hammers. Every time it hits the cyclops a new one was summoned in his hand. He threw two more before leaping into the air and threw one at its eye, causing it to scream in pain and cover its face with its hands. When he lands on his feet, the flames and hammer disappear. He pants a little as he looks up and saw it in pain. "Almost done..." He mutters to himself.
As he did, the cyclops finishes screaming and opens its eye. It roars again before grabbing its club and quickly lifts it over its head. It brings it down on y/n so fast that the latter didn't have time to get out of the way.
However, y/n doesn't even looked scared. Instead, his left fist was coated in electricity along with his body. He reels his fist down before leaping up and uppercuts the club, his fist colliding with the weapon. A small shockwave was released from the strength between the two before y/n's strength and electricity smashes the club into millions of pieces, shocking the cyclops. Before it could even process what just happened, y/n was above its head and lifts his hand out. "Now, Ghost!" He shouts.
On cue, his hand was engulfed in a bright light. In his hand a sword was summoned that seemed to be cracked with heat between them.
He flips the sword around and lands on the cyclops's face before lifting his sword in the air and stabs it deep into its eye. Blood began to ooze out as he twists the blade like a geyser, digging deeper into it. The cyclops lets out an ear-deafening roar of pain as it swings its arms wildly, trying to grab y/n to get him off, stumbling about as well. But before it could, y/n jabs it in deeper before pulling it out and stabs again, harder this time. More blood oozes out and spraying all over y/n, who doesn't care in the slightest as he forces the blade deeper. After another moment, the cyclops's screams die down as its body falls to the ground on its back, shaking the ground from the impact.
Y/n lands beside the head of the now-lifeless cyclops, before dropping to his knees and pants heavily, stabbing the tip of his blade into the ground to prevent himself from falling. His Ghost materializes beside him and stares at the massive corpse next to its partner. "You...did it..." It mutters in disbelief.
Y/n was too exhausted to say anything, only nodding his head. He takes a few minutes to catch his breath before slowly standing up and looks at the body as well. "Yes...now I need to take this back to the capital and the fat pig as proof and get what I need."
"True. But, shouldn't you take care of-?"
"I'll clean the blood after. I just need to take its head." He says, as if already knowing what Ghost was going to ask.
He lifts his sword up and over his head as the blade was suddenly engulfed in flames. He lets out a yell as he swings it down on the cyclops's neck, cutting the head off. More blood oozes out a little more before y/n's sword disappears. He looks over to its hands and eyes the chains, before walking over to his old cover to grab and attach his cape to his back. After, he walks back to the cyclops to get started on his next task.
Time skip...
The two girls were still sitting by the fire as they wait for y/n to return. They haven't said much to each other, simply staring at the fire and keeping themselves warm from the cold around them. However, the sound of something being dragged towards them from within the castle made the two look up at the entrance. There, they could barley see the silhouette of a person coming towards the gate with something massive behind them.
The woman with black hair smirks as she slowly stood up, stabbing the tip of her spear into the snow. The wolf girl remains by the fire to keep herself warm. "Well, well, well~. Took you long enough, y/n~." She says with a giggle.
Y/n walks out of the gate and into the cold air again as the woman giggles. Behind him was the cyclops's decapitated head, being dragged along the ground via the chains that used to be around the cyclops's wrists and stabbed into its tusk by y/n's sword. There was a massive trail of blood leaking out where the cyclops's head and neck were once connected as he drags it. He held the chains over his shoulder as he was casually dragging the head behind him as if it was nothing.
As he did, his Ghost materializes by his shoulder before floating towards the two women until it was in front of the black haired one. "Sorry for the wait. Apparently this ogre was actually a Frost Cyclops." It says as its shell twists.
The woman lifts an eyebrow at Ghost. "A Frost Cyclops, huh~?" The woman giggles again before looking at y/n. "My, my~. You certainly had your work cut out today~."
"..." Y/n doesn't say anything. He stops walking and drops the chains when he was be the edge of the destroyed bridge. He then turns around and grabs the cyclops's tusk in his hands and made sure he had a tight grip on it. When he felt satisfied, he spun around towards the others, lifts the head, and throws it above and over the others.
The woman and Ghost looks up and saw the decapitated head fly over their heads by a few feet before landing and crashing into the ground behind them, causing the ground to shake as snow was blown everywhere.
As everything happened, the wolf girl didn't pay attention to anything, too focused on the fire and it's warm heat. When the head slammed into the ground, she practically jumps out of her skin and jumps in the air by a foot or two, like a startled cat, and yelps. "W-what the hell-?!"
The other woman and Ghost snickers at this as y/n simply runs and leaps to the other side of the bridge. The wolf girl whips her head to the cyclops's before turning and looking at y/n with an annoyed look. "By the Gods, y/n! Was that really necessary?!" She yells in anger, folding her arms as she puff her cheeks.
"Sorry, Carla." Was all y/n said after he lands on the other side of the bridge. He simply walks towards the cyclops's head as the other two stay where they were.
The wolf girl, Carla, was about to say something, but stops when y/n stops in front of her. She looks up at him, expecting him to say something else, but was caught off guard when he puts a hand up and pets her head like a dog. She blushes a little bit as her jaw drops slightly, speechless. Her ears flicker a bit until y/n stops petting her head and continues to walk to the head. She watches him leave in silence as she was trying to process what he just did, before her face turns bright red. She noticed Ghost floating after him and heard the other woman giggling behind her.
"What's wrong, little puppy~?" The other woman asks teasingly.
"S-shut up, Anna." She mutters sternly as she slowly turns around to the other woman, Anna. She saw a smirk on Anna's face that made her jaw clench in anger and growl at her like a wolf, wanting nothing more than to punch the smirk off of her face right now.
As this was happening, Ghost arrives next to y/n's shoulder. It floats around his back as it studies him wrapping some of the chains around his right wrist. It twists its shell in curiosity before looking at him. "What are you doing?" It asks curiously.
"..." Y/n continues to remain silent. After he wraps some more chains around his wrist, he grabs it in his other palm before turning around and places the rest of the chain on his shoulder and tugs it a little, looking over his shoulder to make sure the chain was in a secure hold. When he felt satisfied enough, he looks back at Ghost. "Making sure I won't loose the chains or they won't break." He says.
"Oh..." Ghost says before looking between him and the decapitated head. "Well, alright then. I guess this means that we can go back to the capital and receive the information we need to find your-."
Ghost and y/n heard the two girls yelling and arguing about something. They both look towards the two and saw them in each other's face. Anna has a teasing grin as Carla was growling and snarling at her. Y/n shook his head and lets out a heavy sigh before turning around and began to walk away, dragging the massive head behind him and through the snow. Ghost looks at him before turning to the others then back to him.
"What about-?"
"Tell them that if they don't stop arguing and hurry up, I'm leaving them here." Y/n says flatly. He doesn't bother turning to Ghost as he simply kept his eyes forward as he walks.
Ghost lets out a sigh, shaking its shell as it looks down. "Always giving me the hard jobs..." It mutters before lifting itself up and flew towards the two, who were still arguing over something.
The wind starts to blow again as y/n continues to walk, picking up his cape with it. His mind began to wander as he walks. Even though he could feel some of the cold air seep through the crack of his helmet, he chooses to ignore it and-.
"Y/n..." A soft, faint, friendly feminine voice barley grazed his ears as he was thinking.
Y/n's eyes widen under his helmet in surprise as he lets out a quiet gasp. "S-Samantha...?!" He whispers in shock. He stops walking dead in his tracks as he quickly looks up and around himself to see where the voice came from, not believing he heard the voice. He slowly starts to breath quicker as his hands start to tremble. But after a moment and seeing nothing out of the ordinary around him, he closes his eyes and lets out a long, heavy, depressed sigh as he clenches his hands to stop the trembling. "My love..." He mutters to himself.
Soon he reopens his eyes and shook his head, forcing any thoughts out of his mind. He looks back to his front before forcing himself to continue walking through the snow and freezing temperature.
Meanwhile...
Somewhere else, through a small bared window, the moon could be seen high in the night sky, indicating it was late in the night. Inside, the only light source available in the room was through the bared window. The room was a big, dark, empty area made entirely of old stone bricks. All that could be seen in the room were chains and shackles hanging and dangling from the ceiling.
At the end of the room beside the window, was a single female sitting against the wall as her arms were raised over her head, tied and held up by a pair of shackles and chains that were connected to the ceiling. The woman looked weak, unusually skinny and fail. Her long and uncared chestnut hair had dried stains of blood on them along with her pale face. Her eyes were closed, resting and trying to sleep. But, she would occasionally flinch, feeling something move in her baby belly. All she wore was a single thin long white nightgown, which also had a few dried blood stains. Her arms, legs, and neck were covered in scars ranging from as small as tooth pick sizes to knife size.
Across the room, the sound of a door unlocking and opening make the sleeping woman slowly open her life-less purple eyes, before closing them immediately as she felt a bright light and heat hit her face from across the room. Several pairs of footsteps and snickers were heard entering the room from the other side. The woman knew exactly who the people were from their snickering and refused to open her eyes to look at them. She breaths weakly before looking down at her belly and open her eyes as her lips weakly quiver. Tears began to form in her lifeless eyes as her breathing became heavy and uneven.
"P-pl...ease, y/n, my love...save us..." She mutters weakly to herself as she felt the heat and light increase in front of her and barley saw a pair of black leather boots visible in her watery eyes. But before anything else could happen, she closes her weak eyes as darkness consumes her vision.
To be continued...?
