Hey, everyone. Hope you enjoyed the concept teaser I posted last night. It received some great feedback that I honestly didn't expect. I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves this franchise. But, that's not what I wanted to talk about. I'm posting a disclaimer before I post the first chapter sometime next week.

First of all, I don't own Monster Hunter or any pics, gifs, or videos I use. They belong to their respective owners. I'll try to credit any fanart used in this story, but unfortunately sometimes I won't be able to.

Second, if you don't know or haven't realized it yet, not only is this story a Monster Hunter story, but it's a crossover with a game called Evolve.

The reason why I did this is because these two games are very similar in a way. Both games have (up to) a group of 4 hunters hunting a variation of monsters. To me, Evolve is basically a sci-fi and more mature version of Monster Hunter, so that's why I'm doing this. I always wanted to see/read how these two kind of monster variations would clash, so I decided to do it myself. Don't worry, you don't need to know Evolve to read this story. I won't include (most of) the hunters or the story into this. I'll put all the information you need to know about each monster in the chapters that they are in.

Third, this will take place after Iceborne. I'll try my best to not include some spoilers if you haven't beaten the game yet, but I can't make any promises.

Next, this story won't be a harem story. I know I've been making several of them recently, so I decided I need a small break from them. I'm still working on the romance side of the story, but I'm more leaning on having this as a love triangle. Dunno yet. Things could change. And there may or may not be smut/lemons here and there in the story...just saying...

Finally, just letting y'all know that I'm going to use the same concept from a different story involving Monster Hunter into this story. Basically (mini spoiler) the mc has a birthmark on the back of his left shoulder. This is it:

That, but a little bigger. Why? Well, I'm not saying yet as it's a somewhat major spoiler. Though I'll do my best to give hints throughout the story. Does this mean this story and the other are connected? Not sure as of yet.

And speaking of, if you don't know, I have several more stories involving Monster Hunter. Some are full on stories while others may have references/cameos or are partly Monster Hunter based. Just like this story and how the mc can transform into Barioth, the mcs' in those stories can transform too. These include Alatreon, Zinogre, Rajang, and Eruzerion.
