"The moment mom showed me your picture I said he is the one for me… I really like you and want to marry you Jimin… I hope you have no issues with it…" the man says making Jimin look away in shyness

Jimin was a quiet shy boy growing up. No one really complimented him about his beauty due to his shy nature and always dressing up, completely covered. 

Now the man, his parents brought as a wedding  proposal, was complimenting him so much so that Jimin couldn't help but already fall for the man even if it was their first meeting 

"Mr Je…" Jimin gasps when he feels the man wrap an arm around him when he was about to fall

"It's Jungkook…" the man frowns as he turns the boy around "...I'm going to be your man… you have to start calling me by my name…"

Jimin blushes

Jimin was super excited for the wedding. He was in love with the taller and wanted the perfect married life with him 

"You can stay here okay? I will sleep in the other room" Jungkook says guiding Jimin to a room and then turning to leave

"Why?" Jimin is confused 

Jungkook turns around with a nervous chuckle 

"We just got married… you need to get used to this living arrangement before we share a bed…" Jungkook smirks "...I don't think I can control myself if I'm this close to you every night …" the man says drawing closer to the boy, making Jimin blush "...unless you want it…"

"No!...no… that's all good.. thank you.."

Jungkook chuckles at Jimin’s cuteness before bidding him a goodnight and leaves the room to Jimin and his thoughts

Jimin started noticing that Jungkook was not there in the morning and he came home late at night. The man would only acknowledge him with a nod and say nothing else. Jimin was sad and hurt. This was not the marriage he had in mind. Jimin would wake up extra early and stay up extra late to spend whatever time he had with the taller. Jungkook was surprised that Jimin did that, Jimin also had a job to get to and he was taking care of their apartment and him really well. 

Jungkook felt guilty towards Jimin and that only made things worse between them. Jungkook started insulting and screaming at his husband, for taking care of him and for taking an interest in his diary life

Jimin has enough of it one day and decides to follow his husband on the weekend. 

His whole world comes crashing down when he sees Jungkook hold a girl's hand on the hospital bed. Jungkook was crying as he held her hand tightly,sobbing into it

"Please get well soon… please… open your eyes… I am ready to marry you… Lisa ...please…"

I never had a chance with you huh? I was  never the one in your heart. Why did you marry me? Why did you make me fall for you if you were planning to leave me?

Jungkook and Lisa were the best of friends growing up. Their parents were like second parents to each other as well. Both set of parents wished for the two to get together. Jungkook clearly said to his parents that Lisa was only a best friend to him. But when Lisa heard about her parents wish, she wanted Jungkook as her boyfriend. Jungkook gets frustrated when Lisa starts wearing revealing clothes and acts extra cute in front of him, he knows Lisa - she is not like this. She is a sassy beach and that's why he liked her. Frustrated with her actions, he asks her why she was doing so and her answer makes him upset, she wants to marry him

"I don't love you and I never will. Stop dreaming about an us… that will never happen!" Jungkook yells at the girl. 

Lisa sobs at her best friend's yelling and runs away. Jungkook groans and a second later runs behind her. It was raining that day and he wanted her to get home safe. He should have been more calm, after all she is younger than him. Even if she was sassy, she had a sensitive heart. 

Just as he reached the cross roads, Jungkook sees a car coming in full speed as Lisa dashed across the road.

"Lisa!" He shouted and she stopped to look behind and that's when it all happens 

Jungkook can still see it in his nightmares - if only he didn't call her name, if only he didn't shout at her, if only he loved her back - he would still have his cute sassy best friend with him right now

Jungkook's and Lisa's parents, they all saw how depressed the taller got. He was in the hospital every day, taking care of Lisa and crying, asking her to wake up so he can marry her. The parents thought that he loved her and that's why he was depressed. Jungkook himself believed that he was in love with Lisa because his parents would say such things 

It had been a year and Lisa was comatose. Both set of parents felt bad for the boy. It was actually Lisa's parents who brought forth Jimin’s proposal and Jungkook couldn't say no to Lisa's parents, after all he was the one who almost took their daughter's life. Jungkook owed them whatever they asked and that's why he made sure that Jimin would not back away from the wedding

Jungkook was surprised to see Jimin standing outside the hospital ward room. They had a talk where Jungkook confessed everything. Jungkook told him that once Lisa is awake, he would marry her. Jimin was heartbroken when he heard this but he can't force anyone to be with him if they didn't want to. 

Jungkook had thought that Jimin would leave after he heard the truth but Jimin stayed, he stayed to support his husband through everything 

"Why are you doing this Jimin? You know it's not gonna change anything…" Jungkook sighs when he sees Jimin bring in drinks and snacks for him in the ward

"I know this will not change anything, no matter how much I try…" Jimin smiles sadly "....but until you sign the divorce papers, I still have rights over you… you are my husband and I will take care of you till I am allowed to…" 

"Why?" Jungkook's eyes fill with tears when he sees Jimin walk to the door

"Because…" Jimin says turning around slightly to face the man "...I love you…" and with that Jimin left the room, leaving Jungkook a crying mess

To be honest, Jungkook also liked his husband but he felt guilty towards Lisa and her family. Their only daughter was in this state because of him. He missed his best friend. He might not love her but if marrying her would keep her alive then he would do it. He had made up his mind to be with Lisa once she was awake . He never meant to fall for Jimin but who was he kidding, Jimin is exactly what he was looking for in a partner. 

How many more lives was he going to destroy? - Jungkook sobbed into his palms

By now Lisa had woken up and had started taking physiotherapy. Jungkook was up her side everyday. 

Lisa was upset to hear that Jungkook was married but the man told her that if she agreed he would divorce Jimin this instance and Lisa decided to guilt trip him

"I can't even walk down the aisle yet…" the girl chuckles "...wait till I can…"

Jungkook smiles. He was happy to see Lisa back. But it hurt, he really didn't want to divorce his husband.

Lisa smiles looking at Jungkook and Jimin interact. Jimin was sweet, even if Lisa was jealous at first, she couldn't help but fall for the boy's kind nature. She sighed as she watched Jungkook look at the boy with love, she knew she has lost Jungkook,even before she has gained him. It was time to let the man go

"Jungkook… go be with Jimin…" Jungkook's eyes widen " ..stop crying in the bathroom when you think I am asleep… you have no reason to feel guilty… forgive yourself just like I did… it is very evident who your heart chooses… it will always be Jimin and never me… I know that now…" Jungkook was a crying mess. He loved Jimin and really wanted to be with him "...besides…" Lisa smirks "...my physiotherapist is a cutie… she makes me feel tingles when she touches me and I am always a blushing mess…"

Jungkook chuckles as he dries his eyes 

Yes, there is no need for him to feel guilty anymore.

Jimin was cleaning the top shelves of the cupboard when he feels a pair of arms wrap around his midthighs and a head which came to rest around his soft pillowy ass

"J-Jungkook…"

"Please stay like this for a while…" Jungkook's voice is rough from crying "...I am so sorry…" Jimin could feel Jungkook's grip loosen and he turns around to see Jungkook kneeling down on the floor with his head bowed 

"J-Jungkook…" Jimin gasps getting off the footstool

"I'm so sorry Jimin… I dragged you along in my mess…" Jungkook was crying and it hurt the boy "....I love you… it's always only been you…" Jimin's heart beats fast hearing the mn say that "...but I have to let you go…." Jimin is confused - one second Jungkook is confessing his love and the next he is asking Jimin to leave "...I don't deserve you… I shouldn't be forgiven for causing you so much pain  all this time… I can never make it up to you…" Jungkook gasps for air through his tears "...I love you… I love you… please let me let you go…" 

Jimin hugs the man as Jungkook tightly held his husband and sobbed. He needed Jimin’s comfort. He needed Jimin but he also had to let the boy find his own happiness. He has hurt Jimin so much, it was not right to make him stay.

"You love me?" Jimin cups Jungkook's face and wipes his tears. Jungkook nods "...you want to make it up to me? For all the pain you caused me all this time?" Jungkook nods again "...then stay this time…" Jungkook's eyes widen as tears roll down Jimin's cheek "... .stay..for me… for you… for us…" Jimin sobs slightly " ..will you?" 

Jungkook nods frantically as he hugs the boy who is now on his lap. They are both crying in each other's arms 

"I love you Jimin… thank you for accepting me and forgiving me…" 

"I love you too Jungkook…" Jimin says pecking the man's forehead
