Chapter Seventeen.
Lillian walked down the steps and went into the dinning room where she saw some pancakes and strawberry! But when she sniffed the air and smelled eggs, her stomach turned, and she quickly ran into the kitchen, throwing up.
After puking last night dinner out, taking the pack of gum she now has to carry around with her and put a mint piece in her month. She covered her nose then when her mom walked into the kitchen with a plate of two large thick pancakes with some strawberries on them, "You can eat in the living room. I remember I couldn't stand eggs, pork, anything sour, and grapes anymore while I was pregnant.".
"Thanks.", she said, walking out of the kitchen and dinning room so she could finally enjoy some of her mom homemade pancakes. She scarfed down on the pancakes and couldn't remember when was the last time she could enjoy them this much.
When she was finish, she asked her mom for a ride to school and she said yes. She knew Lillian and Ryan were fighting but still didn't asked why and Lillian was happy about. She gave Lillian her keys so she could go heat up the car awhile and Lillian turned and went to the door.
When she opened it, she almost walked over a bunch of flower. Her mouth dropped a little and double took the five red roses laying on her porch. She looked straight ahead to see Ryan leaning against his car, looking her.
She bent down and picked up the flower, a knot in the middle saying, 'Sorry for being an idiot:(.'
She looked up at him and walked down the steps, "This reminds me of a bad cliché movie.", she said to him as he also walked towards her to meet her half way.
"True.", he said. "But I am sorry and I know not telling you was a mistake but Lil, she really only came over to give me back my stuff.".
She crossed her arm, the roses dangling, "Oh really? She didn't try to talk to you about getting back together or try to kiss you?".
He stared at her for a moment, ". . . okay, she did but I stopped her. Lil, I told her she had to leave and I could call my dad right now since he was there and he'll tell you the truth. You know the man hardhead and would always choose your side over mine.", he said.
"My brother doesn't very much like you, you know?" she asked and he nodded.
He took her left empty hand, "I'm sorry Lil, please. I don't want to fight with you and if I have to do anything to make you believe me, I will."
Lillian moaned angrily at herself when she couldn't resist him. Her emotions were everywhere and all she wanted to do was just be with him and be happy! Why does he have to be so charming and sweet!?, she angrily thought to herself.
He brought her closer to him, "Did you mean it?", she asked. "Do. . .do you really love me?", she asked, blushing.
"Yes, I do.", he said. "I love how you blush, it's so cute and adorable, it makes my heart speed up. Your stubbornness is what keeps me on my toes and it keeps our relationship strong cause deep down, I know your right. How this baby makes me want to grow up because I've been to childish. I could really keep going on but I don't think you'll want to hear my cheesy line.", he said and Lillian chuckled.
"Why do you have to be so. . .amazing and make me want to forgive you?", she asked. She smiled up at him, "Okay, I believe you Ryan but don't give me a reason not to again.", she said, poking his chest hard.
"Promise.", he said.
"I love you to." she said.
He smiled and leaned down to kiss her, but she leant back, "Wait,", she whispered. "Knowing my family, their probably watching and my dad and brother won't enjoy watching that.".
He nodded and kissed her forehead instead.
"Let me go put these in my room and I'll be right out.", she said, turning around and ran back into her house. Her sister and Ashley were leaning on the dinning room table dreamily.
"He's so sweet, Lil.", Cassandra said.
"Yeah.", Ashley agreed before turning angrily to her brother, "You never get me flowers anymore!", she huffed and hit him.
Her mom crossed her arms over her chest, "So I guess you don't need a ride anymore.".
"Nope.", Lillian said. "But I'll still turn your heater on, give me a second.", she happily said, running up the stairs to her room. She brought the flowers up to her nose and took a sniff on them. She smiled and placed them down on her dresser before she left her room.
When she got down stairs, she saw Brad outside talking to Ryan. She looked at Ashley and she just smiled at her.
"You better be good to her or I'll swear, I'll come all the way from Connecticut and personally kick your ass and you'll wish you were dead.", Brad said and Lillian groaned, since he was embarrassing her.
"Completely understand.", Ryan said.

Two weeks later...
Lillian was excited since today was the day she would find out what she and Ryan was having! She sat on the bed as Hannah, Ryan cousin girlfriend turned off the lights and Ryan sat down next to her on a chair. Hannah wasn't so surprised to see them together to much but Ryan told her that his family knows. So does Lillian's and to her surprise, her grandmother was so excited for being around to watch Lillian and Brad to have their first child.
The others...well, shocked. They never expected Lillian of all people to be pregnant but they accepted it and was supporting her on her decision to keep it.
Brad and Ashley announced they were going to have a baby the Friday they were here and her parents were so excited. She was a little jealous at how quick they were happy for them but she got over, understanding she wouldn't be to happy if her sixteen year old got pregnant.
She was sad to see her brother leave but he'll be home in two months again for summer vacation.
Hannah walked over to them, "Excited?", she asked.
Lillian smiled, "Yeah."
She sat down next to Lillian and pressed stuff on the ultrasound machine. As she pressed stuff, she spoke, "So how have you two been? Ready to be a mommy and daddy?".
"Is anyone ever ready?", Lillian asked. "But I think we're going to be fine."
"Yeah, it's not like raising a ticking time bomb.", he said. "I mean. . .unless it's crying hysterically, then I'll start freaking out."
Hannah chuckled, "Well, word of advice, if it's crying for no reason, just place it in it's crib and walk away. Sometimes babies just need to cry since they can't do anything else. Took me a long time to realize that.", she said, breathing out tiredly before purring blue gel stuff on Lillian stuff and Lillian tensed from how cold it was. She grabbed the wand, "Ready?", she asked.
Lillian looked at Ryan and he nodded. She nodded to Hannah and she placed the end of the wands on the jelly stuff. Lillian and Ryan looked up at the big screen and she felt Ryan hand tense a little. Lillian couldn't look away though, she couldn't believe how big he or she got since the last time she saw him! She could see it clearer this time and she could tell which is it's head, fingers, and legs. She looked at Ryan and he looked calm.
"Do you see it?", she asked.
He looked away and nodded, "Y-yeah.".
Her eyebrows came together, "You okay?".
"Yeah, I'm fine.", he said, running his hand threw his hair. "It's just...looks real. I mean, now that I can see it, it just...amazing."
She smiled at him, "I know it is.", she said, looking back at the screen.
Hannah pointed at the stuff Lillian could already tell. She showed where the baby would be laying at and on the screen, she saw him move. Lillian couldn't stop smiling, thinking it was amazing and she just grew so excited and wanted to see the baby and hold him or her so bad right now.
"Ahh, here we go. Little one didn't want us to know what in-between those legs.", Hannah chuckle. "Wanna know what your having?", she asked.
"Of course.", Lillian said and she wanted to shake her to hurry up on telling her!
She chuckled, "Well I think it's time to start buying some blue stuff.", she said and Lillian hands went up to her mouth as tears flooded her eyes.
"I'm having a boy?", she asked excitedly, but she didn't need an answer to that. She turned to Ryan and he was smiling at her. He hugged her and kissed her, "Oh my god, I knew it! It felt like a boy all this time and ours mom kept saying it would be a boy.".
Hannah smiled, "Do you have names picked out already?".
"Well," Ryan said, "She liked Gabriel Zane, but I like Zane Gabriel.".
"I like Zane Gabriel but that's just my opinion.", she said. "So I'm guessing picture of course?".
Lillian nodded quickly, "Yes please!". As Hannah cleaned off the gel off her stomach, Lillian was excited and happy that it was a boy. Deep down, she wanted a boy. After getting the jelly stuff off and getting the picture, they walked outside the building and Lillian turned to Ryan, wrapped her arms around his neck, "It's a boy, Ryan!".
He chuckled and lifting her up and her legs went around his waist, "I know,", he said, as she leaned back from him a little. He kissed her, "He's going to be so perfect.".
She frowned when she remember he had to go to work soon, "I wish you didn't have to go to work so we could celebrate together.".
"Yeah, me to.", he said. "But you know, I need this job."
"I know.", she said. "I love you."
"I love you to.", he said, pecking her. Lillian felt better but she still wished he didn't have to work but he has to be at the restaurant in an hour and he still has to get ready. "Oh, almost forgot. My mom told me to mention my cousin Allison wedding is in a month. You want to come?"
Lillian blushed and lowered her head, "I. . . I can't dance."
He chuckled, "Whay does that have to come in going with me?"
"Because at wedding parties, there is dancing and other things. You don't want to just sit there the whole time and having a boring time.", she said. She shrugged, "Even, I'll look like an elephant in a dress."
He chuckled more and she wanted to hit him, but she just glared, "Your pregnant, Lil. Anyways, mostly everyone will tell your pregnant and I'll teach you how to dance, it's easy."
"Yeah, but I dance like I have to left feet.", she said.
"Like I said, I'll teach you.", he said. "Please come on, if I go by myself,
I'll look like a fool infront of my family because I didn't bring a date.", he said, pouting and she chuckled.
"Okay fine. I'll go. When is it?", she asked.
"June sixteen.", he said.
"Ugh, I hear on the close to the seventh month, you're feet start to swell.", she said. "But I'll wear comfy shoes."
"Great.", he said, pecking her again before letting her down so he could take her home.
She got in the car and smiled, happy everything was perfect right now. Ryan and her have been great the last two weeks and she hopes it'll stay like that. Sure, school hasn't gotten any better and Jeanette still hates them both but they only have a month and week left of school before summer vacation and the baby should be here August and she'll only have to spend three weeks at home before she could come back to school. . .if she decided to go back after the baby comes.
Ryan drove her home. When they got there, she kissed him goodbye and told him she loved him before getting out. She went up to her house and was happy that everyone was home when she got in. She pointed at her parents, "Your going to have a grandson and you," she pointed at Cassandra, "your going to have a nephew!"
They got up excitedly and Cassandra said, "Great, back in one second!", she said, running into the kitchen and she looked at her parents confused before hugging them.
"Oh, that's great!", her mom said. "Finally a little boy to run around here again.", she chuckled.
Her dad kissed her forehead, "I'm happy for you baby.".
"Thanks daddy.", she said.
"I hope he'll wants some cake now.", Cassandra saying, coming out with a round chocolate icing cake with the words 'It's a boy' and in light blue icing said 'boy'. "I had to quickly add that on.", she said about the 'boy' part.
She smiled at Cassandra and took the cake, "Thanks, Cas.".
Her family went into the kitchen to grab plates and Lillian smiled, happy her parents finally accept her decision to keep the baby. They finally stopped talking about adoption and her mom said she'll take Lillian to go buy some cloths for him.
