"Are you sure you don't want me to come inside?" Taehyung asked, looking worriedly at the exhausted omega.

Jungkook didn't feel like talking, so he flashed a small smile and nodded kindly. He entered the house after Taehyung left him outside and could feel nauseous, smelling the rosemary scent mixed with strong roses. The alphas' sex drive in their ruts would last from a day to two, just like omegas in heat. Jimin would be here, he knew.

Holding his breath, he managed to get into the kitchen and towards the refrigerator. Grabbing a few Kombuchas, he rushed towards the small room that he sometimes used to just sit alone and look outside.

On his way, he suddenly stopped, feeling that the voice was coming from inside the room. He stepped back, but from the glass window, he spotted the two kissings and it sent the omega's jealousy shooting through the roof.

Now that his body has acknowledged he was inclined toward the fiery-eyed alpha, there was no way he was fooling himself. He ran back to his bedroom and closed the door shut. What he didn't realize up until that point was that the room must have been dirtier than a stable. On contrary, the bedding was fresh and smelled only like the alpha wolf.

Jungkook growled, his eyes twinkling pink as he charged on the bed, trying to sniff madly and take as much as he could. He couldn't control his urge and felt tears stinging his eyes due to lust that made his groin tighter.

"Jungkook?" Jimin knocked at the door. "Are you in there?

"Yes!" Jungkook suddenly sat up while huffing and looking at the door as if he was caught masturbating. "I am back. If you are done, you may leave. Your scent is marred with rose. It's making me nauseous."

"Where were you during breakfast?" One of the staff members asked Jungkook.

"I am sorry... I overslept."

"I had to stretch my shift because of you. I was on night duty. You need to cover my shift tonight."

"Fine!" Jungkook grumbled, knowing it was a miss from his side. He couldn't get himself to leave the bed even after Jimin had left. He still felt annoyed by the tone of the fellow omega.

"The chef was looking for you," the man said, in a softer tone now.

"He was?" Jungkook now shot a fearful stare at the colleague.

"Yeah, and one more thing... The guest from 628 has asked for wine."

"Okay," Jungkook's gaze stirred before he walked towards the kitchen. He looked at three chefs working and stood behind the station. "You asked for me, sir?"

"Yes," the head chef craned his neck before slowly directing the sous chefs to take over his station. He wiped his hands in the towel as he padded toward Jungkook. "I saw the guest from 628 specifically requesting about you. Is everything okay?"

Jungkook looked at the man's suspicious and fearsome eyes.

"Why do you think it's not?" He asked courageously. "Besides, he is a guest. We have to do as the guest says."

"I hope he isn't asking for favors, Jungkook. If that's the case, I will have to talk to the management again. You have a sharp memory, boy. I am sure you haven't forgotten what happened the last time I went to HR."

Jungkook scoffed behind his mask and then nodded his head while stepping away from the tall man. "I can never forget."

"Very well, then," the chef took off his cap and placed it on the counter. "We have a staff meeting at eleven for discussing the next week's party and the menu. I expect you not to be tardy again."

"I won't." Jungkook pressed his lips together in anger and turned around. Just as he walked past the kitchen, he spotted Abby. The woman was folding the napkins and placing them on the tables.

"Abby," the omega walked closer to the female beta. "I need to check the footage from that night."

"Did something happen?" The woman now stopped folding and focused on Jungkook.

"The chef is onto me. He threatened me that he'd report to HR. I need to make sure that Kyla was able to disable the cameras that night. I was in Jimin's room for over half an hour. If they get the clip, I don't know what's going to happen."

Abby felt her surroundings turning eerie. She knew Jungkook was terrified, but he was holding onto his composure. "I- I need to stay away from Jimin in the meantime."

"Oh, Jungkook," Abby empathized. "I am so sorry that this is happening to you. Jimin's food order was ready."

Jungkook saw her pointing at the covered dish. "Please take it to him. I can't go to his room right now."

Abby nodded understandingly. "Of course, you do your thing."

The woman picked up the dish and got out of the restaurant when the restaurant phone rang. Jungkook was near it, so he picked it up. "Hello, this is Jeon Jungkook from Les Amis. How may I help you?"

"Mon Frere," Jimin spoke in French. "Will you come to my room, please? I ordered some food for you-."

"Sir, your order is on the way."

Jungkook's heart pattered like he had been somersaulting for an hour when he hastily put the receiver down. The reckless behavior of alpha would definitely get him in trouble, he knew. All these calls were recorded and if someone decided to investigate, he didn't exactly have a strong case in his favor. It would be so easy to catch him, even if they didn't do anything behind those closed doors of 628.

Meanwhile, Abby rang the suite's bell, and the gorgeous alpha answered the door with a smile, but it faded quickly. "Where's Jungkook?" He asked, knowing that Abby was one of the omega's good friends.

"The head chef is hunting clues like anything. He is giving Jungkook a hard time," Jimin blankly stared at the dish that the woman was carrying, until she broke his gaze. "May I put the food inside the room, sir?" The man nodded and beckoned her inside with no enthusiasm whatsoever.

Placing the tray on the table, Abby soon left the suite to leave the alpha alone with his thoughts.

Jungkook tried to find Kyla next, but he found out that the receptionist was on leave for a week and the one who was in charge was one of the puppets of the head chef. He had to wait.

In the night, Jimin walked downstairs after showering and changing into a furry yellow sweater above his tight black chinos. His feet were sliding into the designer slippers as he looked around the place and found Jungkook pouring water into the glass of a guest.

Just looking at the masked face and innocent eyes peeking from behind made Jimin's lungs puff air easily. He sighed before waltzing towards the table where he usually sat.

Seeing Jimin, Jungkook didn't want to behave in any way out of the ordinary, so carrying the same water bottle, he stalked closer to the alpha as a formality. "Would you like to place an order, sir?"

"Yeah," Jimin's brows curved sincerely as if he was thinking while getting up. Jungkook followed him to the buffet station as he grabbed the crockery. The omega held onto the lids of big dishes so that Jimin could pour the soup into his bowl. "Can I meet you outside later?" Jimin asked softly, but Jungkook didn't move, didn't answer, and didn't even breathe. Now that Jimin knew about the head chef, his eyes subtly moved over the glass partition which separated the kitchen from the restaurant. "He isn't looking." The alpha informed the skittish omega.

The 23-year-old silently put the lid back down and pushed past the 29-year-old.

Jimin's smile disappointedly vanished and his heart began to wilt. Is it because of last night, doll? "I will wait for you by the lake." He announced softly.

Jungkook remained around but was non-responsive to any of Jimin's personal pleas or comments, only serving him and other guests food and drinks. The alpha couldn't eat much like this and ended up leaving early.

Seeing that, Jungkook felt like he would get sick, but he really didn't want the alpha to feel led on, and more importantly, he was too scared to admit that he was feeling enticed by Jimin for his own personal reasons.

Jimin, on the other hand, was sure that if he didn't pursue Jungkook, he will have made the biggest mistake of his life. He never felt so attracted toward any omega. The lime thyme fragrance of Jungkook held so much power to calm his insides at any point in time.

He changed into a smart and classy jacket and shoes before he was out of the hotel. It was still early, but he couldn't stay inside knowing that the omega was ignoring him.

He went to the same lake and sat by it, looking at the people walking about. The night was serene. A few girls and boys were busking in front of the cafes, and so Jimin began waiting for Jungkook.
