Chapter Twelve

*QUINN*

*FOUR YEARS LATER*

I watched as Alleah was being chased by her Aunt Hannah across the lawn and I grinned happily. "Mommy Auntie Hannah is trying to get me!" Alleah exclaimed and I giggled as I nodded my head.

"I see baby, be careful you two." I said as Hannah looked at me and grinned. Hannah was now eight and Alleah was four years old and the light of my life. She had light brown curly hair, which I had pulled into a French braid to tame them, she had still had her Father's bright deep blue eyes and his goofy smile, but she did have my lips and nose. She was absolutely breathtaking and I was the luckiest woman in the world to have such an amazing daughter.

"Quinn?" I turned around to see Gracie behind me holding my cell phone. "My brother just called." She teased and handed it to me and I smiled as she sat down next to me.

"I wonder what that loser wants." I teased back and she giggled. Gracie was now thirteen years old and she looked exactly like her gorgeous Mom, Hailey. I dialed Johnathan's number and sat there while Gracie played with her phone.

"Hey gorgeous." Johnathan answered after the second ring and his voice automatically brought a smile to my face.

"What's up loser?" I teased and Gracie giggled again.

"I'm on my way home and I'm at the store so is there anything you need me to get?" He asked.

"Oh just some ground beef so I can start making the cheese burgers and something to drink for the kids." I said and I heard him chuckle.

"Those girls drank all the Caprisun already?" He teased and I giggled.

"Oh yeah, you know that's Alleah and Hannah's favorite drink." I reminded him.

"I remember, how is my little Princess anyway?" He asked and I grinned as I looked at her giggling on the sidewalk as she drew on it with chalk.

"She's perfect." I sighed and Johnathan chuckled.

*JOHNATHAN*

"Of course she is." I said with a chuckle and put the meat in the cart. "Well, I love you Mrs. Banks." I said hoping she could her the love I had for her as she giggled softly and stayed quiet for a second.

"I love you Mr. Banks so so much." She sighed and I smiled.

"I'll be home in fifteen minutes tell everyone that the party'll start soon." I teased and she laughed probably rolling her eyes.

"Yeah yeah, bye baby." She said.

"Bye baby girl." I said softly and I hung up.

When I finally got home, I walked into the kitchen to find my wife cutting up fruit with my Mother. "Hey baby." Quinn said greeting me with a kiss and then I placed the meat on the counter.

"Hey honey," And then I hugged my Mom quickly. "Hi Mom." I said as she kissed my cheek.

"Hey you." She sighed as she continued to chop up a strawberry.

"What're you making?" I asked as I wrapped my arms around Quinn's waist as she chopped up a banana.

"Fruit salad." Quinn answered and then my Dad walked in with my brother following behind him.

"Guess who just signed a two million dollar contract to play with the Chicago Cubs for six years?" My Dad exclaimed and my jaw fell open as I let go of Quinn.

"Holy shit, no way!" I yelled and Jace nodded his head eagerly.

"John!" Quinn scolded and I winked at her quickly then looked back at my brother.

"You're pitching for the Cubs, a dream you've had since you were eight!" I said in disbelief and he nodded his head.

"I did it big brother!" He exclaimed and we all cheered as I pulled him into a tight hug.

"I'm so proud of you baby brother." I said with a chuckle and my Dad walked over to my Mom and held her in his arms as she rested her head under his chin.

"We did good Hail." He whispered softly to her and I turned to look at Quinn who was already smiling at me with love in her eyes.

"Yes, we did." My Mom whispered and I released Jace and walked over to my wife.

"Oh, by the way," Jace said slowly and we all looked at him. "I'm dating someone and she's coming over." He said and the whole kitchen went silent.

"What? Who are you dating?" My Mother demanded. "Don't tell me it's that dumb bimbo Ashley cause I will not allow that." She said sternly and everyone laughed.

"No Ma, I'm dating this amazing girl named Haven." He said and just by the way he said her name I knew he was crazy about her.

"Haven? That's a nice name." My Father said and we all agreed.

"I've been dating her since the beginning of the summer, I just thought I should wait a while to bring her up until we were serious." He said and I smirked at him.

"Oh serious huh?" I teased and he glared at me with a grin on his face.

"Shut up John." He teased and I hugged Quinn from her waist.

"Alright, I'll kick your butt tomorrow so your girlfriend won't see you get your butt kicked." I teased back and he chuckled as he rolled his eyes.

Just then Alleah, Gracie, and Hannah ran into the kitchen. "Daddy!" Alleah exclaimed once she noticed me and I knelt down with a big grin on my face as I scooped her up in my arms.

"Hey Princess, how you feeling?" I asked as I attacked her cheek with kisses.

"I'm good Daddy." She said in her melodic voice and she giggled from my kisses.

"Good because I missed you all day." I said softly and Quinn grinned at us.

"I missed you too, did you buy my little brother something?" She asked as she looked through the bags and everyone in the room stared at us confused. I looked at Quinn as she bit her lip nervously and raised her eyebrows silently asking, "Should we tell them?" I nodded my head and looked at everyone as I wrapped my arm around Quinn's waist.

"Well it seems that our secret's out." I sighed and my Mom gasped and a huge grin appeared on her face.

"You're having another baby?" She squealed in delight. Quinn giggled as she nodded and my Mother pulled her into a tight embrace and she continued to squeal excitedly.

"Congratulations son." My Dad said as he hugged me quickly and I grinned.

"Let's hope you get a boy!" Jace exclaimed as we hugged and I chuckled as I nodded my head.

"I really hope so." I said and then stared at everyone who was talking excitedly and I grinned proudly. My life couldn't be any perfect and I wouldn't trade it for any other life...
