1. Never Have I Ever...

|Eleanor Winters|

Have you ever had your perfect 'first' kiss?

I haven't.

Don't get me wrong, it's not like I've never kissed anyone before...

I just don't believe that your 'first kiss' really counts as your 'first kiss'.

They are usually sloppy, gross and very, very awkward.

Plus, there are so many different types of kisses and every time you kiss a different person, that counts as your first kiss... with that person.

Maybe I'm just weird; that's what my best friend enjoys telling me.

I have never had a kiss that caused me to feel... something, anything worthwhile.

Then my life was thrust into the arms of a very attractive, arrogant, egotistical, troublemaking Hunter Evans.

I didn't really know Hunter Evans, I just knew of him. He was the top dog at our high school and everybody pretty much bowed down to him, he was the so called 'alpha' of the school (no not a werewolf, I just meant he was dominant) and he earned the reputation of the school's number one kisser.

Even my best friend shared a smooch with the boy and she still dreams about it today.

To be honest, I think I was the only girl in school who he hasn't kissed yet and that was probably because I was more careful with whom I kissed.

I don't just give out kisses.

But Hunter Evans seems determined to change that, and it all started because of a silly little game that started out as Truth or Dare and ended up as Never Have I Ever.

✿ ✿ ✿ ✿✿✿

I hated high school parties.

But I would rather be here than at home, that was the one place I would do anything to stay away from.

Getting drunk, people grinding, loud blaring music- that really wasn't my thing and it was something I wasn't fond of. If I was being honest, all of it gave me a headache.

Especially right now as I argued with my best friend.

"Oh come on Eleanor, don't be a baby. It's just truth or dare."

I rolled my eyes and sighed, "Truth or dare can lead to some very unwanted circumstances, remember last time?" I questioned, raising a brow at my best friend.

Audrey sighed and shook her head, "Please Elle! I promise this will be the last time I ask you!" she exclaimed.

I scoffed and crossed my arms, "That's what you said last time," I muttered. Audrey rolled her eyes before narrowing them with a hard glare. I returned the look with just as much defiance and we soon had ourselves a small staring contest; daring the other to crack first. From behind me I could hear the music from the party blaring through the closed door, I still couldn't believe that she had managed to drag me to another party; hadn't I suffered enough? I didn't need a stupid game added to the mix.

Audrey glared at me defiantly and a pout began to push from her lip. I sighed before looking away a moment later; admitting defeat. Truth is, I was a total pushover; much like Brian Johnston. If you asked me to write an essay for you- I probably would... okay maybe not an essay but you get my meaning.

"Fine then, just a couple of rounds then please will you take me back to my Aunt's?" I asked. Audrey grinned and nodded her head as she swooped in to give me a hug.

"Yes! Of course! Thank you Elle!" she exclaimed before flinging the door open and dragging me towards the basement.

I groaned as we passed by all the drunkards at the party, I really needed to learn to say no to people.

"Hey baby, why don't I get you a drink?"

My nose scrunched up in disgust as I pushed past another horny jock who was trying to grope me, his beer coated breath fanned my face.

"No thanks," I muttered as I slipped away from his grasp and caught up to Audrey. We quickly walked down the basement stairs and I was thankful as the music began to die down. My feet hit the carpeted ground with a soft thud and Audrey was quick to walk ahead of me into the large group of people sitting in a circle. I paused for a moment to groan quietly before I slowly made my way towards the group. I couldn't help but admire the basement as I did; it was pretty amazing. Actually, now that I looked at it, it was more of a game room than a basement.

The walls were a beautiful crimson colour with still life paintings adorned across the walls. As I mentioned before, the floor was carpet in a pretty cream colour and there were various video games placed around the room. Well actually, half the room was a game area while the other half was more like a theater room. One side had a pool table, various pinball and other videogame machines while the other had a popcorn maker, cotton candy maker, a bar, various couches and a huge television stuck on the wall.

It really was amazing.

"Elle! Come on!" Audrey's voice shouted, bringing me out of admiration.

I blushed as I noticed the entire group staring at me, "Sorry," I muttered as I quickly walked to where Audrey was sitting.

She smiled and scooted over so I could sit next to her, "It's okay. Now that everyone's here; let's play!" she exclaimed excitedly.

I rolled my eyes in amusement as the rest of the group cheered. My eyes swept around the circle and examined the faces of my peers. There was a total of 10 people gathered here; including myself. I looked to my left and noticed I was sitting next to one of my sort-of friends; Jensen Fox.

"Hey Elle," he greeted as I made myself comfortable. Jensen was a genuinely good guy; he had brown hair with hazel eyes and an overall nice personality to him.

"Hey Jensen, how've you been?" I questioned in an amicable tone.

He leaned back slightly against one of the couches, "Great actually, getting pumped for the game on Wednesday," he told me. Ah yes, did I mention he was on the baseball team? My school was very intense when it came to baseball and football; both teams were very important to the principal and the rest of the student body.

"Oh yeah, the one against Ridgepoint right? Think you guys will be ready?" I asked, though, I already knew the answer.

Jensen nodded and fist pumped, "Hell yeah! We are going to take down those pussies!" he shouted, apparently the rest of the circle was listening and they cheered along with him.

I chuckled and nodded my head, "You better, I'll be disappointed if I hear you guys lost!" I exclaimed.

Jensen gave me a shocked look, "You're not coming to the game?" he asked. It was surprising to hear a student wasn't going to the game. A lot of people were really into school spirit, I was one of them, but this time I had an appointment I couldn't get out of.

I bit my lip, "I wish I could but I have... other commitments to go to," I said.

Jensen nodded his head in understanding "Ah that's too bad, we'll definitely miss you're cheering" he winked. I blushed and nodded my head, it was no secret that I was into school spirit. Audrey and I were always one of the people in the front wearing outrageous outfits with our school colours (blue, red and green. Though nobody really used the green so it was mainly red and blue).

"If you ladies are done chatting, we'd like to get started."

I looked over and saw Audrey was smirking at us, with a little suggestive glint in her eyes.

I rolled my eyes at her, "Sorry," I apologized.

Audrey nodded and quickly grabbed everyone's attention, "Alright, I'm going to spin this bottle and whoever it lands on will have to pick truth or dare. Once they answer or finish the dare, they can spin the bottle and the cycle will repeat itself. Understand?" she explained. Everyone in the room either nodded or voiced their understanding. Audrey grinned, "Great, now who will be my first victim?" she teased, earning a few chuckles as the bottle spun. When it came around to me I held my breath in anticipation, I was praying that the bottle wouldn't land on me.

I guess luck was on my side today, the bottle landed on Mary Stevens. Audrey giggled in delight, Mary was one of those girls you just didn't like. There was something about her attitude that just screamed snob and one couldn't help but want to stay away.

"Alright Mary, truth or dare?" Audrey asked. Mary smirked and leaned back so her blonde hair was behind her shoulders and the dress she wore slightly rode up her thighs.

"Dare, obviously," she drawled. Everybody picked dare, truth was always worse and nobody wanted to be put through that humiliation.

Audrey rolled her eyes before an evil glint came into her hazel gaze, "Tomorrow I want you to go up to Melvin Conrad and plant the hottest kiss you have ever given onto him. In front of everybody," she dared. Mary's jaw slacked and the rest of the circle burst into laughter.

"Excuse me?" her nasally voice shrieked. I chuckled; Melvin was what you would call the typical nerd. Too big glasses, sweater vests, bow ties etc. He may have been a bit (really) geeky but he was actually a really sweet guy.

"You heard me," the challenging tone in Audrey's voice was clear and I couldn't help but grin at the wink my best friend shot me. Mary let out a disgusted sound and Audrey laughed loudly; the sound was obnoxious and sarcastic.

"Are you backing out?" Audrey taunted, tapping her manicured nails on the table the bottle was sitting on.

Mary shook her head and snorted unattractively, "Of course not," she said.

Audrey raised a brow, "Good, then Monday morning we'll all be watching. You better be in the centre of the forum right before first bell," she instructed. I placed my hand on my mouth to cover my laughter, Mary's face had turned bright red and she looked ready to blow; I bet she was thinking about how this would affect her social status.

With a click of her tongue, Mary gave Audrey a menacing look before grounding out an angry, "Fine," and grabbing the bottle. Mary smirked, "Now it's my turn," and the bottle was spun again.

The bottle spun around about ten times before it landed on another victim. Kara Greenberg groaned as she watched the bottle stop in front of her; we all knew what was coming. Mary dished out the same dare every year and for three years it has always been a boy who had to suffer. For this dare though, it was one thing for a boy to get dared but for a girl... it was entirely different.

Mary smirked, "Ah looks like tomorrow will definitely be an interesting day."

Kara turned a bright red and shook her head, "NO! I pick truth!" she shouted. Mary pouted and the males in the group groaned in disappointment.

"Come on Kara don't be a baby," Mary taunted. Kara shook her head vehemently and I didn't blame her, nobody wanted to go to school in just their underwear.

Mary sighed and examined her manicured sparkly blue nails, "Fine, then why don't you tell us which position you prefer," she casually stated. Kara looked horrified as the group chuckled at Mary's truth, "Top or bottom, or maybe you're into some kinky shit and you need to tell us why."

Kara's mouth opened and closed, she looked like a fish out of water. Kara shook her head, "I'm not going to tell you that! I'd rather do the dare!" she exclaimed.

Mary perked up and smirked evilly, "Really?" she asked and Kara nodded. "Well then I dare you to drive to school in only your underwear and walk to the front of the school where everyone can see you and stand there for a total of five minutes."

Kara gulped and I felt bad for her; no girl wanted to talk about their sex life (or lack of) in front of a group, but nobody wanted to come to school in just their underwear. Either way she was screwed.

"But it's the middle of winter!" Kara protested.

Mary shrugged her shoulders, "Fine, do it when the snow melts- but don't think I will forget" Mary warned.

I watched as Kara nodded her head, "Fine, but somebody needs to be waiting with my clothes; I will not get detention because of this," she said.

Mary rolled her eyes, "Whatever, as long as you do it; I don't care," she said.

"Alright Kara, your turn," Audrey interrupted. Kara sighed and took the bottle and began to spin it; once, twice, three times it passed me until it finally landed in between two people.

Serena Lambert and Toby Blake.

The entire circle started to cheer and Audrey smirked at the two. They were looking at each other in disgust, it was no secret that Serena and Toby hated each other- why? Well I wasn't close enough with either of them to know, but I think it had something to do with a prank in grade nine.

"Would you look at that, an in betweener; you know what that means!" Audrey shouted. Toby swore and Serena glared at Kara, as if it was her fault the bottle landed in between her and Toby.

"Oh come on you two, don't be so crabby. At least you don't have to kiss Melvin tomorrow," Audrey drawled, laughing at the seething look that Mary shot her as the group laughed.

"Time for you to kiss for thirty seconds; you better pucker up!" Audrey teased.

Serena rolled her eyes before turning towards Toby, "Let's get this over with," she grumbled.

"You could look a little more enthusiastic," Toby muttered back.

Serena sighed, "What's there to be excited about?" she snapped. Toby smirked and turned so his body was facing Serena's.

"This," he exclaimed before slamming his mouth onto hers. Serena let out a squeak of surprise as Toby wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into his lap. I watched in amusement as Serena's eyes closed and they both seemed to be getting really into the kiss. I blushed and looked away once things were beginning to get too heated, hearing the cat calls of the other students.

I had a hard time understanding how they could be so... into it. They hated each other, didn't they?

I blame it on teenage hormones.

..........

"Alright! Alright! Thirty seconds is up, if you guys want to go on for longer use one of the bedrooms upstairs!" Audrey shouted. I placed my hands on my cheeks, hoping no one would notice my blush, but by the amused look Jensen shot me- I knew my attempts were futile. I looked away and back over to Serena and Toby, both were breathing hard. Toby had a self-satisfied look on his face and I giggled quietly at the blush Serena was sporting. It was obvious that she was trying to cover up the fact that she enjoyed it; she was glaring quite hard at the ground.

Serena quickly looked up from the ground and moved towards the bottle, "My turn," she grumbled before spinning. She sat back down but I noticed that instead of sitting ten feet away from Toby like I expected, she was much closer than before. How odd. I watched the bottle spin on the ground, sighing in relief every time the bottle passed me. The game went on for a while longer, people kissing and getting dared to do the stupidest things. One person was even dared to go outside in just his underpants; we were in the middle of winter and I laughed with the rest of them when the jock came back inside squealing that he was cold like a little girl.

I could tell the game was beginning to bore some people, a couple had already left and the circle had become significantly smaller.

Then all of a sudden there was a cheer coming from upstairs; someone who was quite popular just walked in and I knew they would most likely be coming down here. It wasn't long until the basement door could be heard opening and closing. Someone was coming down the stairs and not quietly either. I heard the familiar sound of glass bottles hitting each other and I knew the person was bringing down some alcohol. I rolled my eyes once I saw who it was; Hunter Evans.

I should have known.

He was the only person I knew that could get a reaction like the one from upstairs by just walking into a room.
"There he is!" Jensen shouted, making me jump slightly since he practically shouted it in my ear. I watched as Jensen moved from his spot beside me and did that weird man-hug thing boys did.

"The game was beginning to get boring so I called Evans over," Jensen said, "If anyone can bring up a party, this is the guy," he continued, smacking Hunter on the back. Said boy just smirked and winked at the room as if he were letting them in on some sort of secret.

Hunter looked at the circle and laughed, "Spin the bottle? What are you; Twelve?" he commented, eyeing the bottle in the center of the table. The circle shifted awkwardly, nobody wanted to be made fun of by Hunter.

Mary rolled her eyes, "Of course not, it's truth or dare" she pointed out, only making the group seem stupider. I rolled my eyes as Hunter laughed loudly before he moved towards the center of the circle. I watched in interest as he shoved the bottle we were using away and dropped the case of beer on the floor.

"Who's ready to have some real fun?"

✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿✿

"So let me get this straight, we're going to play would you rather? Are you sure you aren't twelve?" Audrey grumbled.

Hunter chuckled as he placed an arm around Audrey in a friendly way; those two ran in the same social circle, I wasn't surprised to see that they were friendly towards each other. I definitely wouldn't say they were best friends, but they weren't strangers either.

"Hey at least you get to drink in this game, and the statements can get so... interesting," Hunter explained, a knowing smirk on his lips as he wiggled his brows playfully.

Audrey rolled her eyes at him playfully and shoved off his arm her shoulders, "You're such a pig," she muttered before moving to take Jensen's former place beside me.

Audrey bumped her shoulder with mine and grinned, "Ready to take some shots?" she teased.

I rolled my eyes and moved so I was sitting with my hands behind me, "I guess," I grumbled unenthusiastically.

Audrey laughed and the two of us watched as the boys moved a table to the center. Jensen grabbed some shot glasses and preceded to hand them out to the remaining people; there were 7 of us left. Then Hunter took a bottle of beer and began to fill each shot glass. I was the last glass that Hunter filled and when he finished he gave me the bottle. I raised a brow and gave him a quizzical look. What was I going to do with this? Drink it all? I think not.

Hunter smirked, "Think you can handle refilling each glass gorgeous?" he questioned.

I rolled my eyes, "Why don't you just leave it in the middle? Then when you drink you can refill, and don't call me gorgeous," I grumbled. I definitely wasn't in the mood for his flirty ways. Hunter's smirked widened and I sighed when he decided to sit in between Audrey and I. My sigh did not go unnoticed and Hunter laughed at my obvious displeasure.

"What's your name then sweetness?" he asked. I didn't answer and just leaned forward to glare at Audrey, I blamed her for him sitting here.

Audrey grinned at me and laughed, "Don't bother with Elle, you wouldn't have a chance even if you tired!" she exclaimed. I grinned and nodded my head, sure Hunter was attractive, but his reputation is what made me wary of him. I needed a personality, not a hot body.

Hunter grinned, "So your name is Elle?" You could hear the self-satisfaction in his voice.

I rolled my eyes but shook my head, "Nickname," I answered at his raised brow. Audrey giggled and shot me a wink before turning around and speaking to the person on her other side. I mentally glared at her back; she just left me alone to deal with... this!

"What's it short for?" Hunter inquired.

I shrugged, "Why do you need to know?" I said and even I could hear the sass in my tone. Even so, having his full attention on me was making me nervous, but I kept my ground.

Hunter chuckled, "Feisty," he smirked; clearly enjoying the way I was squirming under his gaze, "Let me see if I can guess," he mused.

I shrugged in response, but grinned in amusement, "Go for it" I encouraged; I doubted he would be able to figure it out. Eleanor was such an old name; some would even say it was a grandma name. I always rolled my eyes at the people who said that, how do you expect the person got to be old? They were young at some point.

Hunter pursed his lips in thought.

"Ellen?"

I shook my head.

"Gabrielle?"

Another no.

"Elena?"

I wish.

"Eloise?"

Nope, that was my mother's name.

"Elizabeth?"

Hell no, not that there was anything wrong with the name... I just don't think it would suit me.

Hunter opened his mouth to guess again, but fortunately for me he was cut off by Jensen; apparently everyone was now ready to play the game.

"Since this was your brilliant idea, you can start us off," Jensen said.

Hunter raised a brow and shook his head, "Why don't we let one of the ladies go first? Kara?" he offered. Kara looked just as surprised as I did, I thought for sure that he would pick Mary since she was always ready to play a game.

That sounded dirty didn't it?

I laughed quietly to myself; my thoughts were so strange. I fet Hunter staring at me quizzically; great, I probably looked fifty shades of crazy laughing to myself. Ignoring his stare, I kept my eyes on the glass in front of me. I had to resist the urge to laugh; the shot glasses had funny little moustaches on them. I glanced upwards and saw Kara had a thoughtful look on her face. It was only a few minutes before a grin came over her features; the twinkle in her eyes sort of scared me.

"Never have I ever done the walk of shame."

I giggled, Kara would pick something like that; almost everyone I knew had done the walk of shame. I looked around the group and noticed four of the seven people took a shot. The only ones who didn't were obviously Kara, since it was her statement, and that left Hunter and I. Once the shots were downed and people had recovered, everybody in the group gave Hunter a dubious look. Even I did; I highly doubted that he had never done the walk of shame- not with how well he got around.

"Seriously?" Kara questioned.

"Yeah come on man. The game's no fun when you lie," Parker Stevens said.

Hunter laughed, loudly, "What can I say? The ladies come to me," he shrugged and I narrowed my eyes at the perverse glint in his eyes. I sighed in slight disgust; he seemed much too proud of himself.

"What about you sweetness? A pretty little thing like you hasn't had a late night?" Hunter questioned.

I shrugged and tilted my head to the side, "What can I say? I'm not that easy," I said, a small smirk on my lips.

Okay I'll admit it; maybe I was flirting with him just a little.

Hunter grinned at me, "Interesting..." he murmured. I raised a brow, silently asking him to elaborate, but all Hunter did was shake his head at me and send me a teasing smile.

Interesting indeed.

✿ ✿ ✿ ✿✿✿

The game continued on through the night. Hours had passed and so far everyone had said a statement more than once; except for me. I tactically made sure I wouldn't be chosen, in the beginning it was harder, but as the night went on the group was drunk enough now not to notice I would pass my turn to someone else.

By now half the group was drunk and the statements were getting less and less PG13 and more NC17. Save for a few statements that were pretty hilarious. Even Audrey was slipping to the non-sober section of the spectrum. But what really surprised me was Hunter; apparently he had a very high alcohol tolerance since he seemed just as sober as he was when he first walked in. And let me tell you that he did in fact take a couple shots.

I watched in amusement as Mary slurred a stupid statement rather than a dirty one, "Never have I ever dropped the soap in the shower," she said. I laughed, but didn't take the shot; sure I had definitely dropped the soap once or twice, but since Audrey clearly wasn't going to be driving us home it was up to me.

I felt a tap on my arm and looked over at Hunter, "Oh come on gorgeous, you can't tell me you've never dropped the soap," Hunter teased.

I rolled my eyes, "Of course I have but I'm the designated driver," I said. Okay, so I knew I would still be able to drive after one shot, I doubted my blood alcohol level would be above the permitted amount, but I just wasn't up to drinking right now... or ever really.

Understanding passed over his face for a moment until he chuckled, "Oh come on, one shot won't hurt you," he goaded.

I rolled my eyes, "Maybe not, but it could hurt my driving abilities," I grumbled.

Hunter laughed and threw an arm around me, "Lightweight?" he guessed.

I nodded and shoved his arm off me, "You could say that," I said.

"Come on Hunter, you say one!" Parker shouted, I looked over to my left and saw he had his arm thrown over Kara's shoulders and the two were giggling like schoolgirls. Kara winked at me and I rolled my eyes, but I let a grin slip over my features; I knew those two would end up like that- they always got together at parties.

Hunter took his shot glass and raised it to me, "I think Ellie over here should say one, she hasn't said anything yet," he said with a mocking smirk. I glared at Hunter; if looks could kill he would be six feet under. Audrey had let it slip that one of her favourite nicknames for me happened to me Ellie. It's not like I hated the nickname, I just didn't like when Hunter said it. Ellie was reserved for special people, well it used to be, but since Hunter still didn't know my full name he decided that was what he would call me, along with his other stupid nicknames despite my adamant protests.

Apparently my glare wasn't as scary to him since he just laughed and gestured towards me.

"Yeah! Come on Elle, don't be such a prude!" Audrey shouted, giggling at the end of her sentence. I rolled my eyes and opened my mouth to protest. Unfortunately for me the rest of the group decided to chant my name and as always the peer pressure got the best of me.

"All right! All right! Just give me a minute to think!" I exclaimed in exasperation; these people made me tired.

Hunter cheered along with the rest of the people, "Can't wait to see what you come up with sweetness," Hunter said.

I rolled my eyes and punched his shoulder playfully, "Quiet, I need to think," I said half-seriously. What could I say; I didn't want to say something stupid like what Mary had just said, but I definitely wasn't brave enough to say something as graphic as some of the earlier statements. I bit the inside of my cheek in concentration... what could I say... and then it dawned on me. The simplest never have I ever statement... ever.

"I can see you thought of something, well come on gorgeous- out with it," Hunter exclaimed. I grinned at him and opened my mouth;

"Never have I ever had a mind blowing kiss."
