Jungkook's dad goes to Jimin's apartment to talk to him. He hands the boy a blank cheque asking Jimin to leave his son

Jimin was upset. He thought everything would be okay with him and Jungkook.

"Sir, with all due respect, please leave my house …" Jimin says pointing to the door "....I love your son for who he is, not for your money…" Jimin tears the cheque when the man doesn't take it back. 

Mr Jeon was angry as he grabbed Jimin's chin harshly "...we will see about that when you lose your job…" and with that he leaves the apartment

Jimin was crying as he hugged Jungkook 

"I'm sorry you had to go through that. I'm sorry for my dad… I'm sorry…" Jungkook choked on his sobs, he hated seeing Jimin hurt. It was 2 times now that because of him, Jimin was hurting. 

"Please just be with me… come what may… I can't lose you a second time…." Jimin sobs

"I can't either" Jungkook says rocking the smaller to sleep

"You thought just because your mom is divorcing me I will let you date anyone you want? Well I'm not divorcing her..." Mr Jeon laughs "...You are the future CEO of Jeon industries. You are finally being more mature and taking interest in the company. You think I will let you get away from your responsibilities…" 

"What does dating Jimin have to do with that!?" Jungkook interrupts him angrily 

"He is poor... he  doesn't match with our status…"

"But he matches my heart... dad you have to understand something... he is the one because of whom I left my immaturity... no matter how many times you wanted me to be responsible I didn't do it... but for Jimin I wanted to be the best... didn't you notice how I became the son you always wanted... well you can thank Jimin for that... he made me the man I am today" Jungkook's dad is quiet "...you remember the project you were so proud of… the project you thought I helped you with? Well that was all Jimin…. He inspired me and motivated me … dad please understand we both love each other for who we are… not for financial gain" Jungkook wipes his tears "...and do you remember who took care of me the time I got into an accident and you and mom were on a business trip? Jimin did and at that time he didn't know I was rich, we were just new friends at that time… and he worked extra hours at his job later on, even when I said I would pay for the loan he took from his employer when he took leave to take care of me …" Jungkook chuckles sadly ".... You know what he said, he said he did it because he wanted to … because I was precious to him and he would do 10000 extra hours to make sure I was happy and fine…he considered me as family even then, even when he thought I had less money than him..." Jungkook sobs "and stupid me didn't believe him when he broke up with me…. Mom loved him ..she was the only one for me when you became cold to us...and I chose to believe her over him dad…" Jungkook's voice breaks "...I chose mom even when my heart told me Jimin would never lie to me…." Jungkook covers his mouth with his hand to stop himself from screaming "...now that we are finally back together...please don't do anything to hurt him… he is precious to me" Jungkook wipes his tears 

Mr Jeon was hurt seeing his son cry 

"...Jimin to me is like mom to you.. I know you still love her, no matter how much you deny it"

Jungkook's dad watches his son leave the office. He sighs when he looks at the picture of his family on his desk. Jungkook's mom, the love of his life - She was the reason why he became successful when he had started with nothing and  then somewhere along the way, he forgot who he was and how he came to be and who supported him all along - he let the success get into his head and let the other people around him infiltrate his mind and separate him from people who really mattered most to him. How could he be so selfish and stupid? How could he not understand what is best for his family?

He was going to lose another deal if Jungkook didn't marry Lisa but then he realized what was the point of all this if his family and he were going to be unhappy. He couldn't believe that all these years he let greed rule his mind.

"Jimin…" Mr Jeon goes to Jimin's office to talk to him "...I'm really sorry…"

Jimin is surprised and confused as he sat with the man in his office cafeteria 

"I never realized that you were the one I needed to thank for taking care of my son and guiding him and turning him into the best version of the man he could ever be…" Mr Jeon looks smiling up at Jimin slightly, Jimin couldn't help but smile back "...I hope you don't mind if I call you my son, do you?" Mr Jeon asks standing up and Jimin stands as well

"I…"

"I want you and Jungkook to get married… that's only if you want…" 

Jimin blushes slightly "...I don't hink marriage is in Jungkook's mind...dad"

Mr Jeon's eyes widen in happiness when he sees Jimin smile and call him dad 

"So you are saying you are not against the idea of marriage.."

"I…" Jimin is interrupted by Jungkook walking towards them

"I know this isn't an ideal proposal but I couldn't wait any longer…" Jungkook says kneeling down in front of Jimin, in front of people in the cafeteria 

"Jimin…" Jimin's eyes water "...you are my whole world. You are my life. I have gotten a second chance with you and I don't ever want to let you go. I love you so much…. Jimin..baby… will you marry me?"

"Yes.. yes … I will marry you…" Jimin is crying as Jungkook stands up, putting the ring that his dad handed him onto Jimin's finger "...I love you Jungkook"

"I love you too Jimin" Jungkook says kissing the boy

The people around them clap their hands but the voice of one brings their attention away from the kiss

"Welcome to the home son" Jungkook's mom says extending her arms, inviting Jimin into a hug

Jimin immediately leaves Jungkook to hug her. He missed her. She was like a second mom to him. She was very reluctant to break them apart, but she feared her husband, she knew he could hurt Jimin and Jungkook mentally and she had thought them breaking up might be better for the two. But when Jimin left the day after he had confessed to Jungkook the truth and seeing her son trying to figure out if Jimin still loved him, she broke down and confessed another truth to her son. 

"Please forgive this immature mom…" she says hugging Jimin tighter 

Jimin just shakes his head, crying 

Jungkook goes to his two favorite people and hugs them "...I love you guys"

Jungkook's dad watches the three and when Jimin extends his hand towards the man, Mr Jeon immediately rushes into the group hug

"I love you all" he declares, kissing his wife's forehead 

Jimin and Jungkook smile watching the almost divorces hug each other
