a new friend and a gift from the heart

It was a quiet day in the forest biome, Too quiet. In a small cave in this biome where no mob entered, a strange structure with a purple center stood in the middle of a cavern. And from this structure two people walked out and stretched. One of them happened to have been Herobrine.

Hero sighs, "Its good to be back in the overworld, been so long." He laughed and started forward as his companion finished her stretching.

"Remember what we are here for Hero. Don't let your list for revenge control you. For his sake." She said straightening up and following Herobrine.

Herobrine smiled innocently. "I wouldn't do that." He said as innocently as he could. He actually almost pulled it off, if it wasn't for his past.

"We both know that your not innocent hero. You have to much blood on your hands." She said with frustration lining her voice. "Let's just get going before something bad happens to him." She turns towards the exit and walks out of the cave.

Herobrine laughed to himself. "Oh he'll be surprised to see me for sure." At this he trotted off towards the exit, following his companion.

It was a quiet morning in the taiga biome, five wolves slept by there master as he slept, and not far from them was Abigale, she to was asleep. But the only ones who weren't asleep were two skeletons, only one didn't know the other was there.

"Greng." Said a female voice as she walked up to the other. "Hey Greng, Greng?" She was whispering as not to wake up the and there master, but Grengora didn't seem to notice her. This made her a little frustrated. "Grengora!" She whispered loud enough to almost a normal tone.

Grengora's charred hand shot to the first skeleton's mouth, shushing her instantly. "You idiot, keep quiet or you'll wake them up!" He whispered. "And besides, you know I don't like it when you shorten my name Aeria."

Aeria ducked her head a little. "Sorry, I forgot." And it was true, she was always forgetting to pronounce grengora's full name. "Anyway, how's he doing?"

Grengora looked back at the sleeping bag that was surrounded by wolves. "He's asleep." He whispered. "I think."

"You think?" Aeria raised an eyebrow, or she would have if she had eyebrows. "What do you mean you think?"

"I mean that he's in his sleeping bag, but I don't know if he's asleep or not." Grengora spat, he looked rather agitated.

"Oh." Aeria looked away and saw the other sleeping bag with Abigale in it, of which there seemed to be smoke coming from it. "Hey, wanna have a little fun and take that one out?" She asked pulling out a stone sword.

"Do that and your dead." Came a voice from behind them. Narik, with his sword drawn, came out from behind a tree and was staring the skeletons down. He had know that he was being followed and had heard their conversation.

Grengora and Aeria were shocked to see Narik had been behind a tree instead of where they thought he was. "How did you-" grengora began, he had been watching Narik's sleeping bag since Narik had called it a night, he was so sure that Narik was still inside it.

"Get behind you?" Narik finished, he honestly didn't know himself but decided to pass it off that he did know. "Doesn't matter now does it?"

Grengora hesitated. "I guess not." He said reluctantly. "I guess you'll want to know who I am and why I'm here huh."

"That would be nice, yes." Narik said lazily while still pointing his sword at them and Grengora went right into his tale with Aeria filling in her parts of it all.

"So, you work for my dad." Narik said five minutes later. He had invited them into his camp much to Abigale's displeasure, of whom woke up and screamed when she saw them, and was now sitting by the fire with his sword lying next to him and his wolves staring hungrily at the skeletons.

"Yes." Said grengora, who kept eyeing the wolves wearily. "Its quite fun sometimes, yet still hard work as we have to worry about wolves ripping us to shreds." He flinched as Vidar stretched and yawned.

Narik laughed slightly and scratched Vidar behind the ear. "Don't worry, he won't bite till I tell him to."

"Right." Grengora made a mental note of this. "Well I'm in charge of keeping tabs of you and reporting back to your father, hopefully that's not an issue."

Narik chuckled and pulled out a map. "Nope, not an issue. Besides we're about a five hour walk away from our destination, so you can join us instead of following us in the shadows." He said looking just over the top of his map.

Grengora smiled, he had known Narik since before Narik's banishment. "Sounds good, besides I bet you could use the company." He made a mock gesture towards Abigale and Narik laughed.

"Then its settled, welcome to the group." Narik said extending his hand, and grengora shook it happily.

"Thank you kindly." Grengora grinned. "I hope I won't cause to much trouble." He grabbed his stone sword and put it on his back.

"Pfft, if it was up to me you would already be dead." Piped Abigale. She had been quiet this whole time now speaks with acid in her voice.

Narik looked at Abigale with a cold expression on his face, which shut her up real quick. "Be nice." He said, his voice clearly as cold as his facial expression.

Abigale shrank back in fear from this. "Sorry." She said meekly. She pulled her sleeping bag up to her nose as all five wolves started growling at her.

"Its fine, I'm quite used to it." Grengora said barely noticing Abigale's hatred of him. "It doesn't really phase me."

Narik nodded with a saddened look on his face. "Well I guess we should get going before it gets dark."

Grengora nodded and helped pack, and five minutes later they were on the move again, heading to Potatoeville. Five hours went by without incident and they soon reached the gates of the famous summer baked potatoes.

"Oh that smells so good!" Abigale shouted. Her stomach gave a big rumble in hunger, but neither Narik or grengora shared her sentiment for they couldn't smell a thing.

As they walked up to the gates three guards came out. "Halt!" One said loudly. "State your business."

Narik walked up and replied. "I am Narik, and these are my companions, Abigale, grengora, Vyka, Laika, Vidar, Solinari, and Terra." He pointed at each in turn. "And don't worry, there tame." He smiled at his own joke.

The guards didn't look impressed, in fact they looked pissed. "You are in the company of a wither skeleton. Why?" Guard 2 inquired.

"Simple, he followed me so I let him join my group." He shrugged knowing full well that it was the truth.

The third guard nodded. "Fine, he nay enter under one condition." He paused for a second. "He must wear a disguise so as to not cause a panic. Usually we wouldn't have a problem with this sort of thing, but with recent events." The guard grimaced.

Grengora nodded. "That won't be a problem." He smiled and slowly turned into a human. He wore a black cowboy hat over his long black hair, along with a set of dark colored armor over his black cowboy clothes, and his skin was a pale golden color. "This good?"

Everyone stared in shock at this change, all except Abigale who gave a thoughtful nod. "Not bad." She said with a smile.

Narik's face turned up as a smile crept onto it. "Woah, when were you going to tell me that you could do that?"

Grengora smiled and his midnight blue eyes twinkled. "Only when it was neccisary." He chuckled. "Shall we go in?"

"We shall." Narik chuckled as he and Grengora followed the guards inside. Abigale had already walked into the city and was browsing the vender stands, and Narik's wolves were running around happily as they played with each other.

"Have a good time and stay out of trouble." Guard 1 said as he went back to the guard station with the other two guards that came out with him.

Narik nodded and went over to where Abigale was. "Having fun?" He asked with a smile as he picked up a golden pocket watch.

Abigale looked at Narik with a grin. "And what if I am?" She teased as she put down the pearl necklace that she was looking at.

"Nothing wrong with having fun." He said as he paid for the watch. "In fact I encourage it."

"Really?" Abigale's right eyebrow went up at this. "Cause you don't come off as a fun loving person." She smiled slightly, causing a couple smoke particles to pop out of her mouth.

"And you don't come off as a person who smokes." He chuckled, making her turn around in a huff giving Narik time to buy the necklace that she was looking at, which was made of silver and shaped like a dolphin, and slip it around her neck.

"Wha? What's this for?" She asked while turning to face him. She had a look of pure shock and appreciation on her face.

"I honestly thought that you would look pretty in it." He shrugged and started down the market street looking at the wares, then a scream rang out followed by more screams, and the sound of a wither.
