On the fourth day of Christmas my true love gave to me four calling birds, three French hens, two turtle doves, and a partridge in a pear tree.

Percy's POV
As one of my Christmas presents to Annabeth, I took her to the Hoover Dam.

I also invited the Seven, Calypso, Nico, Thalia, and Grover.
They all showed up.

"Let's get going to this dam place!" Thalia said.

The others just looked at her weirdly, while me and Grover chuckled.

"Okay... well, did you know that the was built in 1930? It has a height of 726.4 feet tall from the foundation all the way up to the roadway on the crest of the dam. It weighs more than 6,600,000 tons, and has three and one-quarter million cubic yards of concrete in it. It can hold Five million cubic acres of water. It was named after President Hoover and built during the Depression. For a few decades, it was the largest and most important dam in the world." Annabeth recited excitedly.

"Nevermind that, Miss Dictionary. Lets go."

We were riding on our respectable rides, me and Annabeth on Blackjack, Leo and Calypso on Festus, Jason and Piper on Tempest, Hazel on Arion, Frank flying, and Thalia and Nico riding Mrs. O' Leary.

We were a funny sight. I just hoped to the gods that the mortals didn't notice us.

Like, yeah, we're not landing on flying horses animals etc, were just normal mortals like you. Good thing we had Thalia with us.

We went in the place, and read a sign that said all the facts Annabeth had said earlier.

"Let's go to the top!" Jason said.

"Hopefully this won't turn out like the Grand Canyon..." I heard Piper mutter.

"Let's go see the dam view!" Grover joked.

Me and Thalia smiled, while the others looked at us weirdly again.

The view was great, but I wasn't really enjoying it. Annabeth was though.

"This is amazing!" She gasped. "The-the design of it!"

I on the other hand, was shaking. Why did I have to suggest coming here?

I looked down over the edge. It looked like a long fall. Although, it wasn't half as bad as the St Louis Arch. And there was water at the bottom here too. I stopped shaking.

I could sense the creatures underneath us, swimming happily along.

I put my arm around Annabeth. She snuggled up against me.

"Thanks for taking me here Seaweed Brain."

"No problem. Anything for you Wise Girl."

I kissed the top of her head.

She laughed. "Anything? Even massaging my feet after I walked in mud for ten miles?"

"Weird request. But... I suppose I could if you were desperate for me to."

She smiled at me. We enjoyed the view for a couple of more minutes.

"Hey! I'm hungry! Let's go to the snack bar!" Leo complained.

"No. Let's go to the dam snack bar."

I burst out laughing, with Thalia and Grover.

"What's up with the cussing today?" Piper asked.

We laughed harder.

"I-I need to go to the dam bathroom."

"Can we go buy some dam fries?"

The others just looked at us like we were crazy, except Annabeth who said "Don't worry guys. I've been trying to figure out this dam joke for years."

We laughed until we cried.

"Annabeth you too?" Hazel asked.

We just kept laughing and walked to the snack bar.

A cashier asked us what we needed.

All the others went first.

"Hi, could I have the salad? No meat on it please."

"I want a chicken sandwich."

"A walking taco."

"Chicken nuggets."

"Bacon burger."

Then it was Grover and Thalias turn.

"I would like some dam enchiladas please."

"And I want a dam sandwich with some dam fries."

Then I stepped up.

"I would like a dam burger, with dam fries, and a dam Coke. Please."

The cashier rolled his eyes.
"That joke gets so old. Here's your order number."

We sat down in a big booth.

"So, that was a joke? A dam joke?" Leo asked us.

"Yeah." I answered.

"So if I said that I wanted to go to the dam giftshop..." Jason said.

"Or buy a dam tshirt..." Piper finished.

Then they all started laughing and swapping jokes.

"I want to go use the dam toilet!"

"I need to buy a dam souvenir."

"I-I need to go buy a dam.."

At that point, they were crying from laughing.

"It's not funny when you guys do it. You're over using the joke." Thalia said.

"Exactly it's only funny when we do it."

They rolled thier eyes at us.

"Whatever Jackson."

When we were finished with our dam food, we got up to go leave the dam place, but first I had to go pay the dam bill.

Then we left.

"Merry Christmas."
I kissed Annabeth.

"You too Seaweed Brain. Thanks for taking me to that dam place."

"We told you it's not funny when you do it!"

"Whatever."
