i feel horrible for just leaving this book(and the others) and i am so so sorry. so here's a chapter one year later.... promise the next one won't come next year

haha too soon for that joke? yes? no? anyway, here it is

"Gonna take you to my- our room, okay? Paddy's gonna try 'nd heal you up and you're gonna be okay, i promise" y/n buried her face into his chest feeling weaker and weaker with every passing second. "Call her family." Tom called out as he glared at people who wouldn't move out of the way as he carried her up.

"her family are hunters! Are you crazy?! They are not coming here" the whole room erupted with agreement. Tom was about to turn around to yell at those who didn't want her family there, but Dom beat him to it. "that girl may be a mortal, but she has the power to inherit all of our powers and she is the soulmate of my son. like it or not, those hunters will be our family. Tom, go take her upstairs, then call her mum while Paddy helps her heal" Tom gave his dad a nod then ran up, whispering soothing words to y/n, telling her she'll be okay, but she didn't feel like she was going to be okay, she felt like she was burning on the inside, she felt horrible for ruining the night and the dress that Nikki had made just for her. she felt weak and suddenly, she felt nothing.

"y/n?" cold cloths were placed on her arms, legs and forehead. she couldn't find the strength to open her eyes, but she could sense that there were people in the room because she could hear their thoughts.. but she couldn't hear words, it was all just noise until she heard him. she heard Tom's voice

"how is she?" Tom was tired and scared. it's been 4 days since she's been lying there, she had a pulse but she was just there. "She's still sleeping but her skin doesn't feel as hot anymore so we removed some of the cloths, Tom, you should go down and feed, stretch your legs a little. y/n will be safe here. We've asked the people who won't help us to leave and as far as we know, they won't tell them what's happened here. They promised and they are still loyal to the family. And if there was some unloyal people here, y/n's family are right outside guarding every possible entrance" he sighed at his mother's response

"I can't. I need to be here when she wakes up. I need to be sure she really is okay." Nikki nodded. "Fine. I'll get Harrison to bring you something and you better eat, understand? y/n would be disappointed in the way you are acting now"

"Tom?" Harrison knocked, placing a plate of mac and cheese on the table next to a tall glass cup with a red substance "thank you Haz" he mumbled, taking the spoon and mixing the noodles. "She's gonna be okay," Harrison patted his shoulder with a sigh. "How bout you drink that then we go for a walk.. I'm not taking a no for an answer, by the way. So drink up" Tom rubbed his eyes and began to chug his drink and carefully placed it back down "i'm keeping my phone on me. Just in case" then the two walked out the room.

"Where do you want to go?" Harrison asked, shoving his hands into his pockets "since her whole family is at the house and they know whats happening I feel its best to talk to her brother,"

The room was quiet. She knew there were people in the house but they sounded too far. She was all alone in this darkness that she couldn't escape from. That is until a voice called out to her, a voice that brought her comfort, that she dreamed of almost every night since the accident.

"y/n?" the voice called out again and suddenly, a bright light flashed in front of her and out of it came a silhouette of a body she won't ever forget.

"Grayson?" his body more clear now, he came and hugged her "oh, y/n.." he stroked her hair the same way he always did when she would panic "god, you've grown up huh.." he said when they pulled away. "Yeah, Gray I miss you so much. I'm so sorry" he shook his head "look at me. The accident was not your fault, you understand me?. It was me. I had to protect you, you're my little sister and I knew too much.. Gosh i miss you so much too. But it's not time for us to have our reunion yet. You need to wake up okay?. Your soulmate is looking very weak and he needs you. They need both of you to be strong" she sniffled "Gray, I don't understand I-.."

"Just wake up okay?. Oh one more thing. Meet with the man named Vlad. I love you y/n"
