IT WAS SO FUCKING COLD as I walked to the diner from Luke's. If I had taken the advice from my mom to wear my coat and not cut holes in my shirt, I wouldn't as hell be still shivering.

The diner was never really full from the last times I came to eat, even not this time of night.

I open the door finding what I already expected, not many people.

A girl, who turned her head to face me walking in has a quite annoyed expression on her face as she quickly looks back.

Well, okay..

I take a seat on the stools not that far from the brunette as she taps her foot against the bar of her stool.

What's her problem?

The waitress walks over as she clicks the pen on her hip. I order pancakes as a few minutes later, she comes out with a hot plate filled with them.

She puts it in front of me as the chick gasps

"Excuse me! I ordered pancakes 45 minutes ago! Blondie over here ordered it like two!" she argues

And I'm shocked by this chick's confidence. Well, bitchy much?

"Who are you calling blondie?" I ask in a tone mimicking hers and she smirks

"You." she says as she rolls her green eyes.

I furrow my eyebrows thinking about a good comeback but quickly look back at my food and smile to myself as I start eating.

"Mmm! Amazing pancakes!" I brag eating with a mouth filled with food. And she crosses her arms

"I'd wish you'd just shut up" she says and I smirk at her "You're such a child."

I swallow looking at my phone as Luke texted me and quickly glanced at the time.

"11:11, try me."
