We talked today

It's been awhile

It was only two minutes

but it was more than just a distant

"hey"

For the first time 

my heart didn't leap out of my chest

and my cheeks didn't get hot

and my breath stayed steady

and I was grounded 

and kept my calm

and it was so stable.

Is this what it feels like

to get over you?
