After Jey left, I went back into the house and laid back down on the sofa. I could smell his cologne on the blanket and pillow. I wrapped myself up in the blanket. I kind of missed him already. I can tell this is going to be hard. My little feelings for him are already turning into attachment and I kind of don't like that. I think it's too early for attachments. I don't like it because I don't like that he's legally still married. I don't want to get involved with someone who's married. What if they change their mind and decide to work it out? Where does that leave me? I don't want to get hurt...but damn I feel like I want to go through this with him. I think I can get through this as long as I continue to put myself first and as soon as it doesn't feel right, I need to let it go. Although we had a pretty in-depth conversation about everything and I believe him I still feel like there's a tiny chance that some or all of this could be a lie. I have to keep that in mind when dealing with this.
I roll my eyes at myself. I hope that's not the case because even though it's so soon I would be hurt and that's why I don't like that I'm getting attached to him. But I'm gonna get down to the bottom of all of this and hopefully everything works out for the good.
Keep in mind that this can all be over in a split second and you need to be okay with that Hazel.
I reach over and get my phone off of the coffee table. I immediately called Danielle. I had to update her on the turn of events. She's not gonna know what to say.
"Hello?" She answers right away.
"Girl...Jey showed up at my parent's house." I say getting directly to the point. No need to have small talk.
"Jey? Airport guy you think you're in love with?"
"Yes." I felt what she said was a little shady but I let it go.
"Oh god. I thought you were over it by now. What happened?" She asks
"Well, I think it started when I called his brother..."
She cuts me off. "Why would you call him?"
"Because just like I told you I wanted answers, and he was the only one who could answer them for me. So I called him and we talked. He told me that his brother liked me and that he basically didn't want to end things with me. I was so confused after the conversation. I had more questions than I did before I spoke with him. He ended up getting off the phone with me, and I was so upset. BUT, around 9 o'clock last night, my mom called me downstairs and said I had someone outside to see me. When I opened the door it was Jey. When I tell you my stomach hit the floor, I was shocked to see him."
"Whaat!" She says, sounding like she's actually surprised.
"Right. He told me to come with him and like an idiot I just went with him. I didn't have a phone or my purse. I had nothing and I expressed that to him and he was just like get in the car, in this sexy demanding voice. I had to listen and it was stupid because I'm not gonna lie, I thought he was about to kill me." I explain
"See what I'm talking about. You got yourself into some shit." She says. "Why would you get in the car with him when you think he's about to kill you?"
"I don't know, just listen. He took me to some secluded place—."
"Oh god."
"Danielle, I'm fine. Just listen." I say. She doesn't say anything else so I can continue. "It was like super dark and creepy as fuck but we ended up hashing everything out. he expressed to me how unhappy he was in his marriage, and they've been separated for a while. He said he's not even living with her and I realized that's why he was acting how he was." I explain
"Oh wow! So it wasn't like he was legit cheating, they are separated."
"I still feel bad but not so bad."
"Okay, well that kinda changes things a little. So are they in the process of a divorce?" She asks
"He said he will do it, he just needs some time because they have two kids together. There's also his family and they see it as betrayal and I don't know. A bunch of shit. Apparently it's not as easy as we think."
"So is he doing it or not?"
"There's things he has to work out, but yes."
"Well, I'll be honest with you. He's not the first married man to say that. So you need to be extra cautious when it comes to how he moves. Do you believe him?" She asks
"I do. Aside from the initial lie, I don't think he would lie to me again. After the talk we had, I feel like him and I are going to be okay. Honestly, the only issue I see happening is when his family decides to get involved."
"What's going on with his family stuff? What's up with that?" She asks
"I guess they're not supposed to get divorced in his culture but I asked him if he is expected to stay, unhappy marriage. It seems like he was just living that way because he had to. I don't necessarily believe in that because marriage is supposed to be filled with love and happiness and what he's living is the total opposite. I feel so bad."
"Well, I can start by saying, that's not your problem, but I guess you like this guy... so I want you to be careful and even though you may believe the things that he tells you, just always have it in the back of your mind that it could possibly be a lie. That doesn't mean he's lying about that or everything that he says is a lie, but just keep one eye open." She says. "So what else happened?"
"After we talked, we came back to my parents house and we went to sleep."
"Mr. Fox let him stay the night?" She asks surprised.
"I didn't ask, but it was super late when we got back and I didn't want to wake them. We slept on the couch. It was totally innocent. He said he didn't want to leave me."
"That's cute." She says in a nonchalant, unamused voice.
"Don't be sarcastic, I feel like you don't like him."
"When I found out he was married... I didn't. Before that I thought you guys were cute. I was alarmed at the overstay in Chicago but you're alive and I was good with that. But I know how you are, if you like him then I'll give him a chance. And I don't know how long you're gonna stay in San Francisco but I know you better be here when I have my baby. You promised me." She says
"I promise I'll be there. You don't have to worry about that. However.....I have been thinking about moving home."
"I understand you gotta do what's right for you. I hope you don't but if that's the case, I'll just have to come visit. What does he do for work? Is he asking you to stay?"
"No, actually I've been thinking about it ever since I've been here. I don't really care to be in Atlanta anymore and my mom misses me so much. I haven't said anything to Josh about it yet." I say
"Well since you put it like that, I think you should. If it's solely based on your happiness and your parents, then definitely go for it."
"Yeah. But as of his work, come to find out he owns a wrestling promotion."
"Does he make any money doing that?" She asks
"Oh, he makes a lot of money doing that, he's driving a fucking Rolls-Royce."
"Damn!! Sounds like dirty money to me." She laughs
"What? No." I dismissed her comment. She doesn't need to know all the details about his company. "I'm going to a show later."
"Like I said before I just keep your eyes open because he could be lying about everything and I don't want you to get hurt."
"Thank you baby. I know. I'll keep my eyes and legs open." I burst out laughing. I'm only half serious.
"Oh my god." She says. "And that dick can make you crazy too."
"I haven't even gotten it yet. No need to worry about that."
"I'm worried." She says. "The way you complained about not getting it from Kevin because he was cheating on you and now you're actually getting it. I think you may get a little crazy. Not to mention how you always said you didn't really have much experience in that department."
"Yeah and Kevin wasn't all that. What I'm getting now, I can see myself getting pretty addicted to it so let's hope everything goes well cause I don't wanna have to go crazy on his ass." I say
She laughs. "I hope all of this works out for you. I really do."
"Thank you."
"Just try to take things slow because this is a sensitive situation and I don't want you to be so deep that you can't get out of it."
"I won't." I say. "I have to figure out what to wear for tonight's show. I'll talk to you later."
"Love you. Bye girl."
We end the call. I can't say I wasn't avoiding another Jey lecture about being careful. I know that's where she was going.

A couple hours later
A couple hours later
My mom had finally come back from the store. She had groceries bags and also had some shopping bags. I helped her bring everything in and I put away the groceries. I was cleaning up the kitchen from the solo breakfast I made and she called me into the living room.
She was sitting on the sofa with all of her shopping bags on the coffee table.
"What's up?" I ask
"Sit down. I bought you something for you." She hands me a small black and gold bag.
A big smile spreads across my face. "What's this?"
"Open it." She says smiling as well.
I open the bag and take out the red lace item. "MOM!" I put it back in the bag. "Why?"
"I thought you might want to wear something nice for that fine man you're talking to. Did I mention how fine he was?" She laughs
"He is fine." I laugh. "But I have that under control."
"Uh huh. You just broke up with your leaching ass ex, you probably need to get in bed with someone else. Get back into the groove of things." She says. "You're welcome."
I smile. "I said I have that under control. Why do you think he doesn't want to leave me...."
"Ohhh okay. I see." She says
"I got this."
"How is it?" She asks
"Mom!" I yell
"What? There's nothing wrong with me living through you. Your father and I have been together for 25 years. Neither one of us are going anywhere. I need some kind of excitement."
I take the two pieces out of the bag and examine them. "This is kinda nice. I'll keep it but I'm not wearing it tonight."
"You're gonna see him tonight?"
"Yes." I say
"Well, have fun then."
"I will....." I sit down on the sofa. "I have to tell you something."
"I already know you like him. Can't be anything too serious." She says
"I do like him. I like him a lot....it low key scares me how much I like him."
"Love can do that." She smiles
I just look at her not wanting to go down that road. Love shouldn't even be a thing for us right now.
"No, no. No love talk. It's too early for that."
"But...it's okay if you do." She says. She's looking for me to admit to it. I could, I may feel that way but I'm not ready to say it out loud yet.
"Give it another month or two." I say. She knows I'm trying to avoid that convo.
"So what do you have to tell me?" She asks
"He's kinda married."
"Kinda? Oh Hazel. What the hell?" She looks at me with a very disappointed look on her face.
"Not like that. They're separated." I try to clarify, but I know there's no gentle way to put it, he's married.
"Do you know if they're separated for sure? Because these men will lie and not think twice about it." She says
"His brother confirmed it."
"Of course he did." She rolls her eyes.
"No, I believe them. Jey explained everything to me and I really do believe them. It's complicated." I say
"Fuck complications. When is the divorce?"
"He's working on it." I say. Help but feel like I'm getting in trouble.
"Hazel...." She shakes her head at me. "You let this man come into my house and sleep on my couch, and he had a whole wife?"
"Mom, I know how this looks. I'm trying to be smart about this. Believe me when I say I'm being careful..... are you mad at me?"
"I'm not mad, I just don't want you to lose yourself in this situation. There's been plenty of women who end up staying after they find out he's not getting that divorce. I don't want that to be you."
"I think he's different. I believe he'll get a divorce. He is not living with her and he doesn't want anything to do with her. His brother told me that he was really into me and I believe him too." I explain
"For your sake, I hope so."
"Please don't tell daddy." I say. "He would shit a brick."
"I won't say anything but if he already knew his last name it's possible he may already know. And if that's the case, prepare for a lecture."
"I know what I'm doing, we just need a little time to get things straightened out."
"Good I hope this doesn't blow up in your face."
".... Me too." I say
**********
Later that night
Later that night
I parked my car in a parking spot located closer to the middle of the parking lot. There were so many people here. I had no idea that it was going to be a huge turn out like this. I mean I guess it makes sense. He said it was pretty successful so I guess I should've known that there would be a lot of people. I was told the show starts at seven, so I was kind of late on purpose. I wanted to come at exactly seven so the show would have already started and there wouldn't be so many eyes on me. I mean I'm coming by myself so I already probably look crazy.
I look around at the people walking into the building, and they are all in jeans, sneakers and T-shirts. I am very overdressed. But Josh told me to dress like I wanted to get his attention so I did and I definitely will with this outfit.
I picked my phone up and shot him a quick text message.
Me: Hey baby! I'm here.
While I waited a minute or two for him to text back. I checked myself in the mirror. Still cute.
I received a response from him a couple seconds later.
Jey: Cool, I'm at the door. Somebody couldn't make it and I'm helping out. I'll take you to your seat. You still have the wristband?
Me: Yes.
Jey: Aight. Come on.
I gathered my things and I got out. This was low key embarrassing how overdressed I felt but whatever. I'm here so let's check out this show. It better be good.
I avoid the line and walk directly into the building. As soon as I get in I see Jey standing behind two people sitting at a table. He was standing with someone who looked like him. Maybe the guy was a little brother or something, he was definitely family. He was also standing with another guy. This guy was big and he also looked like Josh. I'm sure he was a family member as well but he was older, maybe his dad.
Damn my baby looked good. He had on all white. White button up, white jeans and white forces. Seems like he never goes anywhere without those super expensive diamond chains around his neck. He also had that grill in his mouth, looking good as hell. I don't think he knows what that does to me. I absolutely love it. Good thing we have to act like we don't know each other because I would be all over him.
He smiles as soon as he sees me but I guess he caught himself because he tried to hide it.
"Goddamn!" I hear the younger guy standing next to Jey say. "She fine as hell."
Josh and another guy laugh.
"What is your name?" One of the women that was sitting at the table asked me.
"Hazel Fox." I say and wait for her to find my name on the list.
"I don't have a Hazel Fox." She says
"I have a wristband." I hold up my wrist.
"You know what," Jey says. "Jon sent me the revised list to my phone. Let me check that.....Yeah. I have you here. Come on, I'll take you to your seat." He says
"I can take her." The older gentleman says.
"Nah, it's cool, Pops. I gotta go to the back anyway." He says to the man. That's his dad. The blonde hair threw me off but now that he said that I could definitely see the resemblance.
"Thank you." I say to Josh, then follow him.
We walk a ways away from the table then he turns to me.
"You look fucking good, babe." He says with a smile.
"Thank you."
"I wasn't expecting this. You definitely got my attention, along with everyone else in the building."
I laugh. "I'm way overdressed."
"But you look good and I ain't complaining." He says with a smile, then he turns around checking his surroundings. "My opinion the only one that matters."
"Who were those people you were with?"
"My cousin and father. I'm sure my father is watching me so I can't talk that much." He avoids eye contact.
"You look just like him." I smile at him but he doesn't see it. He was too busy looking around.
"Everyone says that. Here you go." We arrived at my seat. Right in the first row, on the end.
I was about to sit down and flirt with Josh for a second when his brother walked up.
"What's up!" Jon says, smiling. "Didn't think I would ever see you at a show." He goes in for a hug and I hug him back. I know Josh is being super cautious but if his brother can hug me, so can he.
"I wanted to experience it for myself!" I say.
"Aye, if you need anything let me or Josh know. I think you'll have fun. You want a drink?"
I glance at Josh and he's just looking around.
"Um, yeah." I say
"Whatchu want?" He asks
"Anything is fine."
"Strong?"
"Oh yes." We both laugh, then he walks off.
"Loosen up." I say to Josh.
He looks at me and smiles. "Jon made things a little easier. It doesn't look so sus."
"I think he knew what he was doing. Thank him."
"I will, but yeah if you need anything else let us know. I'll be around...watching, making sure no one bothers you."
"No one is going to bother me." I say
"Well then make sure no one is trying to steal you away from me."
"That isn't going to happen either. I'm all yours." I smile and he smiles back.
"I think my cousin is in love. I know he's going to try to talk to you. Let him down easy." He says
I laugh. "You don't have to worry about that."
He quickly winks at me then walks off. Not even 5 five minutes later Jon comes back with my drink.
"If you need another one, I told the bartender you're good." He says
"Thank you."
"Aight, I gotta go work. I'll check on you later. Have fun!" He smiles and leaves.
I sipped my drink as I took in the setting. I was sitting next to another attractive woman but her attire was more fit for the show. I looked next to her and noticed those two women had a wristband as well. What section was this? The hot girls section? There were a few women over here. All looked good. Interesting. I looked behind me and noticed a few men. Now I don't feel weird. I'm thinking this is some kind of invite only space. I hope no one asks who invited me because I don't know anyone other than Josh and Jon.
I actually tuned into the show in front of me and it's more violent than I thought it would be. Chairs, tables, trash cans and bats being used. Bloody people. I've never been to anything like this before. It was a bit much for me. If I was going to sit through hours of this I needed more alcohol. I finished up my drink and got up. I headed towards the bar and waited.
I looked around and I saw Jey talking to a female. I'm assuming she's a wrestler because of what she had on. Jey stood there with both hands in his pockets looking forward, watching the show. She was completely leaned into him. Smiling and laughing and shit. She's too close to him.
He spots me and just looks at me. No smile, no nothing.
A wave of jealousy washes over me and I pull out my phone to text him.
Me: Who is that?
I look at him to see what he does.
I watch as he pulls his phone out of his pocket. She was still talking to him as he texted me.
Jey: A wrestler named Jaida.
I look at him and he's looking at me. She's still there.
Me: She's kinda close isn't she?
I look back at him and now he's laughing.
Jey: lol nah. She's cool.
Me: She is TOO close.
Jey: Everyone knows I'm taken.
Me: Whatever
That pissed me off. Why isn't he moving away from her?
Jey: I mean they think I'm married. She's young and has a crush on me. I've never given her any play and I'm not going to start today. You don't have to worry about that.
I was about to respond then another text came through, and another one right after.
Jey: Ever.
Jey: I told you I'm not like that. I promise.
Me: 👍🏼
Jey: I'll show you how invested I am when you come to my room.
I roll my eyes at my phone. The bartender took my order and I was waiting for my drink. The next thing I know I feel someone standing next to me. I see it's Jey.
"You jealous?" He asks
"A little." I say. "Thought you couldn't talk to me?"
"Well I'm getting a drink and I just happened to find an open space next to you. I can't stand here for too long though." He smiles. "I don't want her."
I stood there for a second not really knowing what to say. I almost feel embarrassed. I shouldn't be acting this way.
"I shouldn't have questioned you." I say
"Nah, it's cool. You wanna make sure you're not being played. I told you you can ask me anything and I'll be truthful with you. I mean that. It's cool." He says
I don't respond. The bartender hands my drink to me. Josh places his order and turns his back, leaning against the bar. I could tell he was just watching his surroundings.
After a few seconds I could feel Jey staring at me.
"Jealousy looks good on you. I like that crazy shit." He says, which makes me laugh. "You don't want nobody touching me? Shit I don't want nobody touching you... I'll beat they ass."
I laugh as he grabs his drink.
"Remember what happened the last time we were standing at a bar?" He asks with a smile on his face.
"Yup. You can't do that here." I say
"I damn sure want to. That dress has me thinking about all kinds of things I want to do to you." He licks his lips and takes a sip of his drink. He then starts looking around again.
"I feel the same..."
"I know you ain't staying for the whole show, so let me know when you leave. Me and Jon will walk you out." He says
I nod my head and go back to my seat.
I only sat there for another hour. It was just too much for me. I was just a little bored. I just wanted to be all over Jey and I couldn't do that. I actually watched the thirsty Jaida girls match. She's good I guess. I didn't know what was going on but she won. If Jey liked her, I see why he would. She's fine as hell. But like I told Jey, she was too close, so he needs to check that.
I texted Jey to let him know I was leaving early and he told me to meet him and Jon at the door. The two of them walked me to my moms car. Jon stood watch as Jey helped me into the driver's seat.
"How'd you like the show?" Jey asks, kneeling down, basically having the door shield him so no one could see him.
"It was okay. I didn't hate it but I didn't not like it."
"Why not?" He asks
"Too violent."
"This coming from someone who got turned on when I beat up a guy in front of her?" He says
"Yup!"
He laughs and runs his hands up my thighs. "My lifestyle can get pretty violent at times. You have to know how to handle it."
"I see. But you don't, do you?"
"If I have to." He says
We fall silent for a few seconds.
"Can I get a quick taste?" He smiles, running his hands under my dress.
I laugh. "What? No. You're crazy." I laugh thinking he's joking.
"A little bit. We already established that in Chicago." He says with a straight face. "Come on. Ain't nobody out here. You was trying to fuck me earlier..." he takes me by the thighs and turns me in my seat then tries to put my leg over his shoulder.
"Jey! Stop!" I continue to laugh.
"Aye..." he stops and looks at me with a serious face. "Let me do it."
I see he's super serious and I instantly know he's about to try to eat my pussy in this parking lot, while his brother is literally not even five feet away. I'm not mad at it because I've been trying to jump his bones since we got back in contact. Might as well let it happen.
He puts my leg that's closest to him over his shoulder and pulls my panties to the side. My eyes shot to Jon. I couldn't really see him as he was standing in the back of the car, so I know he couldn't see anything but I know he could damn sure turn around at any time and see my leg over his brother's shoulder and know what's going on. That was damn near embarrassing enough. His brother is crazy for this.
He closed his eyes and licked it a couple of times. I quickly lost any control I had. I was nervous about someone seeing us but I also didn't care. Jey was extremely skilled at this and as much as I tried to keep an eye on my surroundings, it was just as easy to get lost in what he was doing to me.
I guess at some point Jon saw what his brother was doing because I heard him talking.
"Aw maaaan! Come on...I don't believe this shit!" he says, sounding like he was irritated. I'm sure he was. He just needs to turn around and act like he didnt see anything.
Jey knew exactly what to do to take me there quickly. I don't even think we were ten minutes in and I was moaning like crazy, telling him not to stop. I kept glancing over at Jon, which was distracting as hell. He was still there with his back turned, keeping a lookout. Thankfully.
I felt my orgasm coming and I just couldn't control myself damn self. I was so close to cumming but then he just stopped.
"What are you doing? Why'd you stop?" I look at him irritated.
He smiles. "I'll finish this later."
"Jeeeey." I whine. "I was about to cum. I just need two minutes..."
"I know. Later." He says, fixing my underwear. "And you better not touch yourself and no toys either. I'm going to be the one to finish you off."
I was instantly pissed off but still turned on.
"Okay." I say
He smiles, wipes his face and stands up. "Give me an hour. I'll be back at my hotel. What you gonna do until then?"
"Go change."
"Nah, stay in this. Wet panties and all." He says.
"Okay." I say
He looks around then kisses me on the lips. "I'll text you the address in a minute."
"Okay." I say
"Aight. Love you..."
Both of the guys walk off. I hear Jon tell his brother he's trying to get caught up. Josh just said he had to do it and that he couldn't help himself. Leaving me laughing at the situation.
"Wait... huh?" I say aloud. "Did he just say love you?" I say to myself.
I turned around to try to catch them but they were already gone.
What the hell? That had to be a mistake.
I sit there still trying to calm myself down from him denying me my orgasm, then he says that crap. Too much to try to process right now. I'll try to address this later tonight.
