Lava Time (#11)

Okay, just so you know, this one takes place just before the big fight in season 1 ep 99 (I think that's when it was). Everyone is preparing, including Lucinda...

Imagine this;

You arrive just outside the gates of Phoenix Drop. You manage to convince Dante that your from Scaleswind, and want to help Phoenix Drop prepare the war. He leads you to Lucinda's house, where she and Aphmau are discussing portions.

Lucinda is making a potion that creates a wall of fire around whoever drinks it. She'll have enough for everyone, once she gets her final ingredient. That ingredient, is lava.

Lucinda: Three buckets should be enough, but bring four just incase.

You: Can I help get the lava? I've been in the Nether before, and though you could use the expertise.

Aphmau: We're gonna need all the help we can get, so I suppose you could come along.

You: I only want to help. Not that I think you can't manage on your own! It's just...Scaleswind has such a big army! And O'khasis will be helping them...

Aphmau: I'm grateful for your help. It takes a lot for someone to go against their village to assist another, just because they want a fair fight.

You: Heh. It's not easy, but it's not extremely hard either. Maybe it'll teach the lords of Scaleswind and O'khasis not to brag so often.

Lucinda: Not to be rude, but could you two please get going? I need that lava as soon as possible.

Aphmau: Sure Lucinda. Come on uh... What did you say your name was?

You: Just call me Angel.

Aphmau: Alright then Angel, let's get going!

You set off for the Nether portal outside of Brightport. Laurance and Aaron come as well. Once in the Nether, Laurance gives everyone a bucket. You're now splitting into two groups so that you won't be spotted so easily.

You: Can I go with the man with the bandana?

Aphmau: Why?

You: He seems really stealthy, so he would be able to best instruct me. I can't fight very well, so strategically, it's the best option. Also, Laurance knows this place best, and seeing as he's a shadow-knight, he could keep you away from the other shadow-knights. Aaron kinda has that red and black style they like, so he might be able to blend in.

Aphmau and Laurance stood wide eyed. They didn't think someone your age could come up with a decent game plan.

Laurance: How did you know I'm a...

You: You transformed.

Everyone looks at Laurance, and sure enough, he'd transform. He hadn't even noticed.

Aaron: Alright, we're lousing time. Let's get moving.

You split up, and head separate ways. Once you and Aaron find a lava pit, he fills the buckets. You carry them back, so that Aaron can keep his sword at the ready. You stop in your tracks, making him stop as well.

You: I hear something.

Aaron: What do you hear?

You: Sounds like footsteps at two o'clock.

Aaron turns to investigate, while you quietly set one of the buckets down, and dump the other over Aaron's head.

Aaron: AAAAAHHHHHHH! IT BURNS!!!!

A sizzling sound can be heard, as you watch Aaron burn to death. You're quite proud of yourself, and smile with pride.

You: That's what you get for trusting me. You of all people should know that you never, EVER, let your guard down.

Aaron: THE PAAAAIIIINNN!

Once Aaron dies walk back to the lava pit, and fill your bucket again. You then return to the portal, where Aphmau and Laurance are waiting. You try to look and sound sad.

Aphmau: Where's Aaron?

You: He fell in.

Laurance: In lava?!?!

You: Yeah... He was filling the bucket, and fell.

Aphmau: Come on. Let's go.

You head back through the portal, and return to Phoenix Drop. As you arrive at the gates, you say your goodbyes.

You: I'm sorry, but I have to go. I don't expect to forgive me for Aaron's death, but do know I tried to save him.

Aphmau: It's not your fault. You had no way of knowing he would fall.

Laurance: Who knows, maybe he'll come back as a shadow-knight.

You: I doubt it... Again, I am so, so, so sorry. Goodbye.

You run into the woods before they can say anything else. You're very pleased with yourself. You make your way back home, and sit on your bed. All in all, today was an amazing day.

Yeah! Number eleven finished! Only 90 more to go! I promised 101 ways to kill Aaron, so that's what your gonna get! It's just going to take a long, long time. Like another year. But on the bright side, that's a year of imagining Aaron's death over and over again!

I really hope you're all enjoying this book, and I hope you continue to enjoy the future Aaron deaths! Until next time, bye guys!
