Curses (#26)
Imagine this;
You are Travis' twin. You have obtained a large portion or your father's power, and are amazing at casting curses upon others. Aphmau had come to you saying Aaron had been acting strange. She asked you to curse him so that a lie would cause him a small amount of harm. You agreed, seeing your chance to get rid of Aaron once and for all.
You stalked Aaron all day. Why? Because the little son of a shadow lord wouldn't get away from everybody! Sure you want Aaron dead, but you aren't heartless! You didn't want anyone else to get hurt, so you had to wait until Aaron was alone. It was an extremely painful process. Having to stare at him all day made you want to just drop dead from being so disgusted.
It took until sundown for Aaron finally to be in solitude. You cursed him with and old curse your father taught you.
"Twisted words spoken from untruthful tongues,
Broken trust shattered by the unfaithful one.
Hear my words, and hear them clear,
For if not, your death draws near."
(Translation; Liar, unfaithful trust breaker. Listen to me, or you'll die.)
As you finished reciting the first half of the curse's chant, Aaron's head whipped towards you. His face grew pale, and he was frozen in fear. Perfect!
Long strings of (f/c) particles began to surround your body. You feel your energy building, preparing to deliver the curse.
Lies told by liars cause harm to the innocent,
Now I avenge them, the liar gets his consequence.
Twisted words spoken by untruthful tongue,
Three is all it takes to bring down the unfaithful one.
(Translation; You hurt the innocent with your lies, now I must avenge them. Liar, tell three more, and you'll be dead.)
The particles that once surrounded you clasped onto Aaron as you finished the last words. He fell to his knees with a cry of agony. You smiled deviously, watching him suffer. You liked it.
Days passed, weeks, months. Aaron hadn't told another lie. You watched him closely, wanting to make sure you were there when he died. You wanted to see his pain as his final breaths slipped away from him. You wanted to be right there, making sure he knew you could save him, but wouldn't.
Finally, he told his first of three lies. He was asked if he knew where Aphmau was by Garroth. He said no, but he had just been with her. Garroth walked away just before Aaron let go a cry of pain. His right cheek was now burnt as if someone had thrown his face against a flame. You smiled deviously, loving his agony. It took another month, but the second lie came.
"Hey, Aaron! How've you been feelin lately?" Aphmau asks.
"I've been feeling pretty good, thanks for asking," Aaron replies.
"Good to hear! I'll meet you for training once I get my sword!" Aphmau says cheerfully as she dashes off towards her house. Once she's out of earshot, Aaron falls to his knees in agony as the other side of his face burns. That sound would be about the only thing you'd miss from Aaron once he was dead.
Three days later, the final lie came. Aaron lied to you, and you couldn't have been happier.
"(Y/N), we need to talk. I know you have something to do with these burns!" Aaron accuses.
"No, you assume I have something to do with it," you snap back.
"Ever since your little chant in the woods, this happens when I lie!"
"Then don't lie."
"Sometimes I have to!"
"No, you don't. Your lying is making Aphmau upset. You don't want to hurt the one you love, right?"
You asked this, knowing Aaron would deny it. You knew he'd try and cover it up, making your curse complete.
"I-I don't love Aph!" Aaron shouts, a small blush on his ugly mess of a face. You smirk evilly, knowing this to be a lie. A dark chuckle escapes your lips, excitement beginning to rise inside you. You couldn't wait to see this man dead.
You leaned up against a tree, the evil smirk never leaving your lips. Aaron's face grew pale, his eyes widening in fear. Within seconds, (f/c) flames began circling the ground around him, slowly rising as they span until they were half a foot taller than him. The flames slowly began to move towards the circle's centre, and closer to Aaron. They soon engulfed him, burning him to a crisp. You enjoyed listening to his desperate pleads for mercy, for you to save him. You loved his screams of excruciating pain, every single one of them. But most of all, you adored watching him burn at a snail's pace. Bit by bit, little by little, too slow to even measure. This was what you witnessed for the next two hours, and you didn't regret a second of it.
When Aaron was finally finished burning, you whisked all his ashes into a jar. You kept his ashes as your prisoner in your home until the end of your days as a permanent reminder of that day, never to be set free.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaand done. This took me forever to come up with, I'm really running out of ideas. It's summer now, so no more school for me! I'll try to update more often since I have a bit more time to wright now. Feel free to leave a suggestion in the comments if there's a way you would like to see Aaron die. I'll also permit an OC that you can add into that request as the reader's "partner in crime" if you wish. That's all for today, so until next time, bye guys!
