Assassinated (#21)
Imagine this;
Aaron's taking his usual route home. The path he takes is as follows; he walks three blocks east, before taking a short, dirt trail through some fairly thick woods. School had just started, so the leaves on the trees were still creating a thick foliage for you to hide in, as you stalked your prey.
Your plan was simple. All you had to do, was practice hanging from trees by your feet, so that you could assassinate Aaron from above. It took you a whole year, but you could finally hand from any tree branch by your feet. All that time and preparation, would finally lay off. Today was the day, you would finally rid the world of the vile, hideous creature know as Aaron.
Now, you lie in wait. A blow-gun in one hand, poison darts in the other as you crouch on a high tree branch. You were ready to pounce, with the ferocity of a tiger pouncing on its prey. It's then you saw him.
Aaron: Such a peaceful day. I wish it could always be like this.
An insane smile creeps across your lips, as you quietly load the blow-gun. Just as he passes the tree you're in, you swing down from the branch, catching yourself with your feet in one swift motion. You blow into the blow-gun, and hit Aaron's neck. He immediately stops walking, and you shoot him with another dart. It splits the previous one in half, and goes straight through his throat, and falls on the ground.
You smile with glee as you jump down from the tree. Aaron dies painfully, though you wish he could've suffered a bit longer. You drag Aaron's corpse over to the tree you would practice hanging from, and throw him onto the hugest branch. You couldn't bare to part with the trophy that signified your biggest accomplishment, so you mummified it. Twenty years later, the corpse was still there, and in the same condition as the day it was mummified. It stayed in that tree for years, until it was discovered twelve years after your death.
Short, I know. I just wanted to take a break from my usual semi-gory stuff. This was all I could think of. I also apologize for the wait. High school isn't easy, trust me. Anyways, until next time, bye guys!
