Chapter 5: Wow, you have brain.

Thea entered the library, her eyes scanning the rows of tables until she spotted Levi. He was hard to miss, sitting comfortably in a corner with a green sweater adorned with some ridiculous cartoon character, that did wonders to his broad shoulders that made him look like a human billboard - not her words per se, and a pair of well-worn jeans. She adjusted her pinstriped blue button-down and denim skirt, tugged down her cap, and strode over with purpose.

Levi looked up as she approached, a grin spreading across his face. "Wow, right on time, Dora. Do you have a built-in clock or something?"

Thea rolled her eyes, setting her bag down on the table. "It's Dorathea. And some of us take our commitments seriously."

Levi chuckled. "Touché. Alright, let's get started."

They both settled in, spreading out their materials. The library was quiet with the soft rustle of pages. Sunlight streamed in through the large windows, casting a warm glow on the wooden tables and shelves filled with books.

Levi, despite his initial teasing, quickly shifted gears. "So, I've been thinking about our project. Since it's about innovative business models, what if we focus on how architecture firms can integrate sustainable practices to attract more clients?"

Thea raised an eyebrow, impressed despite herself. "That's actually a solid idea."

Levi's face lit up, clearly passionate about the topic. "Yeah, and we could look into case studies of firms that have successfully done this. There's this one firm in New York—"

Thea interrupted, "We need to make sure we have enough data to back up our arguments. If we split the work, I can handle the market analysis while you focus on the architectural practices."

Levi nodded eagerly. "Perfect. I also have some contacts who might give us insights on the latest trends."

As they delved deeper into the project, the conversation became more animated. Thea found herself surprisingly engaged, and she had to admit, Levi was more competent than she'd given him credit for.

Levi leaned back in his chair, tapping his pencil against his lips thoughtfully. "You know, for someone who's always so grumpy, you have some pretty good ideas."

Thea deadpanned. "And for someone who never takes anything seriously, you actually know your stuff."

As they began to wrap up, Levi's asshole instinct kicked in. "So, Dora, I think we've made some real progress here. Maybe we should celebrate? Any chance you got a bottle of champagne in your Backpack?"

Thea rolled her eyes, packing up her things. "Ha ha ha. Just make sure you don't swipe any of my credits for this project."

Levi laughed, watching her with amusement as she stood up. "Swiper, no swiping. Got it."

Thea shook her head, a small smile tugging at her lips despite herself. "See you in class, Levi."
