Now obviously, Bludspill's escape didn't go unnoticed by the police, so a police search for the escaped canine criminal was quickly organized. One of the police dogs working in this search was an Australian Golden Retriever pup named Alex. This was only his second week of training for the force, but nevertheless, Alex was determined to find that dangerous murderer and bring him back to prison!

  At the time, he was vigilantly scanning the downtown streets, all the while thinking to himself, Now let's see. If I were an infamously murderous criminal who'd just escaped prison, where would I be hidin'?

  He kept this question in mind as he looked through the streets. He couldn't find any Pitbull Terriers around (especially not any who were as ugly as Bludspill), but as he was walking around, he accidentally bumped into a nearby Afghan Hound. As soon as he felt this happen, Alex immediately said to the civilian dog, "Oh, excuse me. Have you seen any Pitbull Terriers 'round these parts?"

  "Of course I haven't," the Afghan Hound answered rather brusquely, "aren't those things illegal around these parts?"

  "Uhh, okay then," Alex uttered out, somewhat taken aback by the rather rude response, "well, thanks anyway."

  With that, the police pup continued on his way thinking to himself, Well, no luck so far, but I'm not lettin' that miscreant slip away! Bludspill's gotta be around here in Camden Town somewhere; I've just gotta keep looking!
