Busting Out

Camden Town Police Station. The organized workplace of several trained justice-bringers, including the tough, no-nonsense equine Pearl. It also served as the incarceration unit for several of the city's most dangerous criminal animals.

Among them was a large Pitbull Terrier whose physical appearance alone distinctly marked him as the kind of dog who would and could rip someone's head right off with little effort and no hesitation. He possessed relatively the same kind of large, muscular physique that was to be expected of his breed, except it also kinda looked as though it had taken in some... "muscle-enhancing substances." Aside from that, he had lots of scars all over his body from having gotten into several fights, including a rather ugly, fractured muzzle. This pitbull's name? Bludspill.

What had he done that landed him in jail? Well, that would be obvious just from seeing his red-stained paws that he was a serial murderer who'd killed several animals (other dogs, of course, but also some cats and a few humans); that is, until they locked him up. Since then, he just spent most of his time caged up, fighting off boredom with his own little crafting project: a flat, dark grey prison file with a steel-diamond grit, an ivory-colored steel skull on the handle, and the file end being sharpened like a flat knife. Or as he preferred to call it, the Skelefile.

One night, it was finally finished, and Bludspill put it to use right away... to start filing at his cage's bars. However, this escape attempt was quickly halted by the sudden sound of a horse hoof hitting the floor. It was none other than Pearl. "Outside time!" the police horse announced authoritatively.

"Ugh!" groaned many of the inmates.

Normally, most dogs (especially the ones always being cooped up indoors) loved going outside. The fresh air, the sunshine beaming down on their fur (unless they disliked the heat that is), the chance to roam free and stretch their legs, it all felt so wonderful!

However, the "outside time" that these animal criminals received was very different from that. All those 4 hours were spent in a barren, fenced area (meaning that it was hardly "outside" at all), usually in rainy (or snowy) weather. It might've sounded harsh, but considering how all of them were imprisoned criminals, it did make sense.

Anyway, Pearl got all of the inmates (including Bludspill) lined up and started leading them to the "Outside Time Area" (while also keeping a watchful eye on each of them). Once they were all out there, the inmates got scattered in what seemed like every part of the area, while Pearl stayed close to the only door allowing exit of the "Outside Time Area" (and keeping the ones she found to be especially dangerous close within her sight, including Bludspill).

Ughh! Bludspill thought to himself, This "outside time" is just sooo boring! I swear to Dog, if I spend one more minute here, I am just gonna LOSE it! Then he glanced around at Pearl and the other inmates whom she was making stay close to her, and he got an idea. A nasty idea. Bludspill had a wonderfully nasty idea.

He quietly went up to a nearby cat criminal and suddenly pushed him right into Pearl and some of the other inmates close to her. Naturally, this quickly sparked the ire of Pearl and all of the other inmates, one of whom violently pounced on Bludspill in retaliation, only for the murderous Pitbull to catch his attacker and throw him at another inmate from three meters away. Before too long, this caused a fight to break out, leading to a chain reaction resulting in all of the inmates trying to rip each other apart. All of them... except for Bludspill.

Now that the first part of the plan had been put into action, it was time to put Part 2 into action. Bludspill swiftly snatched Pearl's key as she went to break up all the fighting, and in all of the violent commotion, he made a mad dash towards the door leading back into the jailing area, unlocked it, and started sneaking his way through the police station. Luckily for him, the riot that he'd just started outside was causing an even greater ruckus than expected, leading to several other workers heading out to intervene and greatly reducing Bludspill's chances of getting caught. Once the halls were perfectly clear, Bludspill made his escape...
