Boom Night
Chaos immediately assumes while Dylan screams. All the pups were suddenly scattering about while having panic looks on their faces.
"Oh, my dog! Oh, my dog! Oh, my dog!" He said in a panic as he tried to round up some nearby puppies. All while Charlie watched in confusion.
"Okay, why are we in a panic?" He asked, stopping Dylan.
"Because we only got 10 minutes to get home safe before..."
"Boom Night!" Dolly said excitedly as she skated past the boys.
"Boom Night?" Charlie asked as he watched Dylan struggling to collect the pups, of course Dolly's not helping much.
"Hey, whoa, watch it!" Dylan yelled out. Cutting back to Dolly, she can be seen skating around the crowds that came to the stands that were selling stuff, even almost knocking over a lady.
"Wahoo!" Dolly yelled out as she kicked flipped her board.
"Now, quit it, Dolly." Dylan tried to yell to her but she moved so fast on skate.
"So what is this... Boom Night?" Charlie asked Dylan.
"It happens every year. The humans would gather in the park, and set off these things that go..."
"BOOM!" She yelled out in his face, causing him to jump from the sudden scare.
"You gotta take this more serious-" Dylan yelled out, only to be suddenly grabbed by Triple D.
"We're too young-
And beautiful-
Too Die!" The trio cried out, causing Dylan to fall to the floor.
"Oh for crying out loud guys." Charlie scuffed at the sudden antics, "You're all making this way more difficult than it needs to be." He said as the water fountains began to spray, in which Dylan was seen laying on top of one and it was spraying him in the face, causing Charlie to snicker at him.
"Bow-wakka-wow!" Dolly yelled out as she skated on by. Suddenly, Fergus, Big Fee, Charlie, and Dolly appeared and looked down at poor Dylan, resulting in Fergus chuckling.
"You know, D-Dog, If you leg it home now, your dog brains'll only explode a little bit." He teased and looked over to the pups. If the pups weren't scared enough already, Sid appearing in front of them and crushed a nut with his teeth to make it sound like his skull cracked, making the pups screamed in terror and go running, leaving Big Fee to laugh hysterically while Triple D fainted dramatically.
"Well that was a bit much was it?" Charlie asked Fergus while looking rather unpleased that he wasn't helping before looking down to Dylan, "Also this Boom Night, you said that humans do this every year?" He asked him.
"Totally, they would gather up all this wood. Put them in giant piles to burn them, and of course can't forget about the food. The unlimited amount of food that they throw away." Fergus added which made Charlie ponder as he scratched his ear.
"Large fire pits, food, and things that go boom... Ohhhh! Bonfire Night!" He exclaims with a smile, "Yeah that makes sense."
"Hangin' with us tonight, Dolly?" Fergus asked her giving her a smirk.
"You mean, stay out? On the barge?" She asked looking over to Charlie to see what he would say but before Charlie could say anything Dylan immediately appeared in between them.
"Uh, She can't!" Dylan immediately.
"I dare ya."
"Oh well you definitely can't say no to that." Charlie said.
"No way!" Dylan immediately yelled out, getting Fergus to back off, "Tonight is about surviving, not dying."
"What do you mean about dying, for dog sakes Dylan? No one's going to die."
"Yeah! Chill out D-Dog." Fergus added.
"No, No no fires, not exploding, and not..." Before Dylan can finish his statement Fergus started chuckling.
"Yeah, you might want to run that by Dorothy." He said, getting Charlie to widened his eyes.
"Uh-Oh. W-where's Dorothy?!" He asked out loud as he looked around frantically. Fergus then pointed behind him to reveal that Dorothy was chewing on a very large stick next to one of the large bonfires.
"DOROTHY!" Both Dylan and Charlie yelled out and raced to get her, leaving Fergus to smirk.
"I'll see you later." He said to Dolly before dipping away with Sid and Big Fee eyeing her then leaving with Fergus.
{BACK WITH DYLAN AND CHARLIE}
Finally reaching Dorothy she was shown with the large stick in her mouth and it somehow gotten down her throat more, to which Charlie was extremely worried but ultimately impressed that she managed to do that.
"Boom Night is no joke!"
"Dylan, can we not worry about Boom Night and worry more about how Dorothy got this flea baggin stick halfway down her throat!" Charlie yelled out as he held up Dorothy who was teething the stick.
"Alright, Dorothy. Drop it." Dylan commanded as he pulled back, while Charlie pulled Dorothy. Suddenly Dylan flew back and yelped, before crashing into the pile of sticks. Resulting in Charlie laughing at him, "Ugh, humans. What a shameful way to waste perfectly good sticks!"
"Yeah well It does a pretty display when it's all set on fire." Charlie said as he dug through to get to him, "Come on time to stop playing with sticks..." He said but suddenly...
"Stick? Stick! Stick! Stick!" The two heard and immediately winced as the pups immediately attached themselves to the large pile of sticks.
{LATER}
Once Dylan and Charlie pulled themselves out from the dog pile, they pushed the large pile of Dalmatians back to home where once they finally reached home, Charlie immediately fell onto his face and sighed in exhaustion.
"Sometimes, I wish it was easier if we just took the bus." He groaned as the door opened, revealing a paniced Doug
"There you are! Inside, inside, inside." He said as she motioned the pups to head on inside, "Only 6 minutes until... The worst night of the year!" He proclaimed as Delilah stopped each pup and plopped ear muffs for them so that they could be safe from, "B-B-B- Boom Night!" He said panickly before curling up freighted, "Why do humans do this every year? He asked out loud as Delilah nuzzled him and patted him on the back.
"Don't they know they're playing with fire?!"
"Hey!" They heard and look back to see Charlie leaning against the door frame, "Ya holding up the line! These pups ain't puttin' those ear muffs on by themselves!" He yelled out looking rather annoyed that their taking this with precautions.
"Course, right. Single file everyone, you know the drill." Delilah said, Doug pushed a lazy pup to his mate who plopped some ear muffs on him.
"I still don't understand why you are taking this with such precautions, I mean it's just fireworks."
"The pups get scared with the loud explosions, plus dogs have very sensitive hearing."
"Ohhh, that makes sense, would uh, would I need ear muffs?"
"I recommend them." Delilah said. Dylan looked up to the big clock they had up and his expression was clear, they were racing against the clock.
"Four minutes and 33 seconds to lockdown!" He announced when suddenly Dolly appeared hanging next to him.
"Group Hug!" She announced with a grin.
"Hugs hugs! Hugs!" The pups all chanted before tackling Dylan, leaving Dolly and Charlie to laugh hysterically. Soon their laughter stopped when Delilah approached them looking very serious.
"It's the biggest night of the year for your dad and me, But we know you'll stand strong." She said and gave Dolly a hug, to which she smiled before separating from her.
"Of course..." Dylan suddenly appeared, "No one is going to do anything crazy like go outside tonight. Are we Dolly?" She asked her.
"Relax Dylan. I think she's got the message and won't be going anywhere." Charlie with a smile.
"Good, glad we can agree, now where is my helmet?" He asked looking ok the ground for it. Dolly and Charlie immediately pointed to where his helmet was...
"On Dorothy." They both said as Delilah watched Dorothy who was inside the helmet push it across the floor.
"Hey!"
"Don't worry dude, we got something to help protect those ears of yours." Charlie said and plopped fuzzy pink ear muffs on his head. These ear muffs came packaged with pink bunny ears, "Dude you look fabulous in them." He added.
"Oh come on." He whined in embarrassment. Dolly tried her best to hold in her laughter as was Charlie.
"Son, your sacrifice Will be remembered for all eternity." Doug said. This didn't help Charlie who was starting to get in the face for holding in his laughter.
"Heh, defintenly through the weekend." Delilah added as she walked by. Charlie couldn't take it anymore and just burst out laughing, falling to the floor and rolling around with tears in his eyes. Dolly almost joined him, but she kept her posture and calmed down. Once Charlie finally ceased his laughing he sat up to see Doug and Delilah had opened the door and was looking back at the family.
"I want you to know how proud I..." Doug began but he suddenly choking on his words as he stared at his family, "I can't do this..." He started to cry, "I have to go..." He said through his teary eyes, "GROUP HUG!!!" He yelled out, his paws stretched out for his children.
"Hugs! Hugs! Hugs! HUGS!" The pups chanted as they tackled Doug.
"I love you guys!" Doug cried out as he tried to hold each of the pups. Soon the pups separated from Doug and the two finally left, closing the door behind them.
"Oh they'll be back." Charlie said outloud as he began to scratch his ear. Soon military music began to play as the pups began to panic while Charlie sat down leading the pups.
"Cue Lockdown! Alright everyone, just like we train for!" He yelled out as the pups rushed about.
"Everyone do exactly as we say!" Dylan yelled out. Charlie however gave him an annoyed look as he was handling this.
"Sir, yes sir! Captain Safety Pants, sir!" Dolly yelled out before mocking a salute to Dylan before laughing him. Charlie simply snickers at the sight before turning to the pups.
"Everyone into pairs, Triple D and the Dimitri Trio stay in your groups!" He ordered, "No need to rush, everyone move in an orderly fashion!" Suddenly he heard Diesel giggling. Looking over, he could see Diesel has on the ear muffs wrong and one of the cups was covering his eyes, causing him to run into the wall.
"Uh, Diesel... Diesel, Diesel!" Charlie called out for him before running over and stopping him from hitting the wall over and over. Dylan also ran over and helped with fixing Diesels ear muffs.
"Are you planning to help at any point or are you..." Suddenly he started mocking Dolly, "Just gonna, like, go hang with Fergus on the barge? Bow-wakka-wow." He mocked getting her to hang over him.
"Hey, I don't sound like that!" She said before Charlie stepped in and separate the two.
"All right, you too separate. Look if she wants to go hang out with Fergus, she can. Long as she has her earmuffs on she'll be perfectly fine."
"Yeah and plus, no one needs to know that-"
"I'll know!" Dylan interrupted her, "My conscience will know."
"I just told you it was fine!" Charlie argued back.
"But Mum And Dad will know that my conscious knows."
"You mean you have a bad time keeping a secret."
"I can keep a secret! This is different. It's way too dangerous." Dylan said looking very serious, "Now, stay put!" He ordered before leaving Dolly and Charlie.
"Stay what... seriously?!" She asked before dropping to the floor next to Charlie.
"Yep, he pulled that card out." Charlie said, to which Dolly groaned.
"Well, I'm gonna..."
"Hang on Dolly." Charlie immediately said putting his paws on her head, "You can go after we deal with the pups."
"Oh come on! Your not seriously... wait what?" She whined before stopping and looking at him, "Y-you're cool with me going?"
"Uh yeah, a along as your safe and keep those ear muffs on." He said which Dolly quickly pulled him into a tight hug.
"Thanks bro!"
"No problem Dolly, but first..." Charlie said before pointing down where giggling could be heard, "We need to deal with this one." He added and Dolly looked down to adorable Dorothy in the space helmet giggling.
"I'll do just that. Heh." Dolly laughed as she looked down at her baby sister, "Dorothy, you can't hear us, right?" She asked her, to which she shook her head no.
"If course she can't hear us clearly, Dylan has a bit of sound proofing." Charlie said as he tapped on the helmet, resulting in Dolly sighing in relief.
"Close on." She mumbled to herself before standing up, "Time to whip up some explosion gear." She added and hurried into the next room.
"I'll help." Charlie said following her, unbeknownst to them, Dorothy slid after them.
{LATER}
The two quickly built up what they had around the house to be considered anti-explosive, and soon they finally finished.
"Anti-Explosion gear, ready for actioooon!" Dolly announced as she stepped into the light to show her gear... which was just tennis balls glued onto her helmet and body, only for her to slip and tumble down the stairs. At first Charlie and Dorothy just stared at her but soon Charlie started to laugh at her fumbling down the stairs as she continued to bounce down the stairs to the first floor where she landed on her feet.
"Way to 'Bounce' your way into battle there Dolly." He snickered as he approached Dolly who knows with excitement.
"Awesome! Didn't feel a thing! It works!" She yelled out and chuckled before looking over to Charlie, "By the way, totally planed that wipe out."
"Sure Dolly, I believe you." Said Charlie sarcastically as he approached the door. Suddenly Dorothy appeared and climbed up top of Dolly's help and whimpered, wanting to go with her. Dolly however gently grabbed her and placed her on the floor.
"Hey you can't be too safe on a night like this." She said to Charlie.
"You're starting to sound like Dylan." He threw at her while Dorothy giggled at their jab at Dylan as Charlie placed his paw onto the biometric scanner.
"Uh-oh! I hear Dylan!" She gasped before pushing Dorothy up the stairs, "You gotta go. Night-night!" She yelled out to her and waved to the saddened Dorothy. Once Dorothy was out of the sight, she quickly looked around to see if anyone else was around before turning around to see that Charlie opened the door for her.
"Now remember, be home at a certain time. I can't keep Dylan distracted for long."
"Yeah yeah, don't worry I know what I'm doing." Dolly said as she grabbed onto the door, "I'll be back before ya know it."
"Cool, I'm gonna go up and see how Dylan's doing." Charlie said and hurried upstairs, leaving Dolly to look around before exiting the house and bouncing off. Dorothy watched at Dolly could be seen bouncing off through the door window but immediately noticed that the door was fully closed, getting her to look suspicious at what was Dolly was up to.
With Dolly, she was having a difficult time controlling her voices as he was shown bouncing. She could be heard exclaiming worrisome as she continued to bounce down the street before she seems to be getting the hang of it.
"I'm good!" She yelled out... only to smack into a trash can, stopping all momentum and she fell onto her back, "I really am." She grunted out in pain.
{MEANWHILE}
Feedback from a megaphone could be heard as Dylan had held it up to speak into.
"One minute and 33 seconds until..."
"Boom Night!!!" Diesel yelled behind him. Scaring and causing him to fall to the floor, leaving Charlie and Diesel to laugh.
"Diesel!" Dylan growled.
"Oh come on, Dylan. He's having fun." Charlie said when Dylan started sniffing. He noticed that Dorothy hadn't moved from her spot.
"Dorothy?" He asked. Charlie noticed Dylan's sudden change and watched as he lifted up the blanket, only to reveal chew toys.
"So not the time for hide and seek." Dylan yelled out to her, peeking out the doorway that led to the hallway before turning to Charlie, "Have you seen Dorothy?"
"She was downstairs with us, Dolly put her back to bed." He explains as they walked out into the hallway. However, Dolly left her skateboard out and Dylan immediately stepped on it and well... you can figure out the rest.
"Woah! DOLLY-Y-Y-Y-Y!!!" He yelled as he fell from the stairs before crashing onto the floor hard, "Ow..."
"You okay down there, Wing Commander?" Charlie asked as he hurried downstairs.
"I'm fine." Dylan responded as he pulled himself up and looked around, "But where is she?! Dorothy! Where are you!?"
"She has to be in this house..." Charlie said when he looked over and saw that the door was opened. His facial expression changed to a more horrific look, "Uhh, Dylan... we have a problem."
"What's the..." Dylan began to ask only to scream in terror, "Situation." He finished his statement, "Where's Dolly?! We need to get her!" Dylan yelled out and scrambled up the stairs to find Dolly.
"Wait hang on, Dylan! We don't need!"
"Dolly! Dolly! Where are you!?" He asked before running into the room where Dolly sleeps, only to find her bed untouched.
"Chill Dylan."
"Wheres Dolly!?" He asked Charlie, getting into his face with anger and anxiety.
"Whoa hey, back up dude." Charlie said lifting up his paws in defense, "You're over reacting. Dolly's probably... uh, gone out... forrrrr... supply's." He explains and smiles, "Yeah, just in case." He lied, getting Dylan to look at him very suspiciously, "What, you don't think Dolly cares about her families well being. Man you have no trust in her."
"Her, running out to do an errand?! BY HERSELF?!" Dylan questioned.
"Alright! Fine I'll tell ya... Dolly... is, uhm. How should I put this... gone out... to hang out with Fergus?"
"And you didn't stop her?!"
"Wasn't expecting Dorothy to follow her!" Charlie pointed out as Dylan skidded by him and looked outside.
"Dolly! Dorothy!" He called out, his voice echoed with panic as he walked back in looking nervous, "I gotta find them. But I'm not supposed to go out on... Boom Night!!" He yelled before backing up in a corner hyperventilating. Charlie watches this unfold and rolled his eyes before grabbing Dylan by his face.
"Dude! Get ahold of yourself man!" He yelled trying to get Dylan to focus, "Relax, remember this... You are an invincible warrior of the burning light!"
"No! Charlie! I'll get smashed to smithereens!" Dylan cried out in fear.
"Shut up, Dylan! Now give me your war face!" He yelled, getting Dylan to growl at him but he was still scared, "Come on Soldier! Show me a war face!" He yelled before growling angrily at Dylan showing his teeth, "See this is a war face! Now show me yours!" He ordered, this time Dylan was all pumped up and growled angrily at Charlie barring his teeth at him, "There ya go, that's my bro!"
"Right!" Dylan stood up looking confident, "I need body armor."
"Ugh! Why?!" Charlie groaned annoyingly as he and Dylan entered the kitchen. Charlie and Dylan worked together to craft up some armor for Dylan, slapping cans and other metal objects around Dylan.
"Anti-head exploding shield." Dylan said as they put a metal strainer on his head, "A heat defeating device..." He said while Charlie wrapped aluminum foil around Dylan. Soon Dylan was ready and stepped outside, acting real heroic... but ik reality it looked kinda stupid. Soon Charlie sat next to him looking confident as he adjusted his dog tags and his Old Glory bandana.
"You look completely stupid in that by the way."
"It's a safety precaution." Dylan said before looking over to Charlie, what do you have for protection.
"My police vest?" Charlie said as he showed off his dog-like police vest, "It's dog size. Don't worry Dylan, this pup got a plan."
"Dolly really hates it when you say that."
"Eh, it's fun for me, now let's go!" Charlie pointed out, only for Dylan to fall onto his face when he took his first step off the stairs.
As the two walked down the street, Dylan was practically shaking as he slowly walked his way down the sidewalk, while Charlie was behind him watching his crumble right enfore him.
"Uhhh... W-we'll just find Dolly and Dorothy and bring 'em home." He said outloud as he tried to look ahead, unfortunately for him the strainer was just at eye level, "Simple."
"Yeah Simple, which means you're not gonna die." Charlie could be heard behind him, which caused Dylan to suddenly pick up the pace... only to run straight into the exact same trash can that Dolly bounced into. Dylan helmet flew right off behind him and he crashed onto the floor, creating a loud racket.
{MENAWHILE}
Just about a mile away from them, Dolly was bouncing along before she looked back upon hearing the racket.
"Uhh, what?" She asked as she looked back, lifting her ear up trying to figure out what or who hit a trashcan. Unfortunately she wasn't looking where she was going and smacked into a wall, causing her to fly back in the direction she was coming from.
{WITH DYLAN AND CHARLIE}
Once Dylan got back his helmet he was shown lowered enough that he was scrapping the ground while his can covered paws were making such a racket. Unbeknownst to both of them, three firecrackers were in front of them, and they were lit.
Suddenly they popped, scaring both Charlie and Dylan. Dylan was the most scared as he basically jumped out of his armor before making his retreat, unfortunately he ran into Charlie and the two crashed into the same trashcan again. Trash flew out of the knocked over can while Dylan stumbled about before gaining his balance. His eyes frantically looked at the holes to see what he could see but all he could was something that was staring back at him.
"Martians!" He yelled out as he stared at what appears to be a Martian (to his eyes), "Welcome to Earth! Stay put. We'll continue this conversation later."
"Uh, uh, Dylan... that's not." Charlie tried to explain but Dylan already took off. Leaving Charlie to sigh in annoyance before running off. The 'martian' turned out to be just a gnome covered in trash.
{MEANWHILE}
Dolly managed to recover herself and had continued her course of bouncing until she finally made it to the canal. On top of one of the canal boats sat a shadowy figure who was at first looking out to the water before turning their head to Dolly, revealing they're white, glowing eyes. Of course this is Fergus, waiting for Dolly.
Dolly looked around with her eyes and saw it was just gonna be them and she suddenly started to feel nervous. Maybe it wasn't a good idea for her to go out by herself.
"Just be cool." She sighed and was about to go down the stairs only for her to trip on her body armor and proceeds to fall down the stairs, only to start bouncing around again.
Fergus watches as Dolly hits every corner of the bridge and winces in pain before she finally came to stop in front of him, several tennis balls flew off of her when she made contact with the ground.
"Very fetching." Fergus commented as he overlooked the downed Dolly, "No, seriously, that's a lot of fetches." He said and looked around at all the tennis balls that were on the ground.
"Heh. Anyone for tennis?" Sid asked as he went to swing at one of the balls, only to completely miss and fall into the canal where Big Fee completely burst out laughing at him. Once Sid popped out of the water, Dolly immediately put a loyalty around him while giggling to herself.
"Fifteen-love for me." She teased getting Sid to groan.
{WITH DYLAN AND CHARLIE}
Back with the boys, Dylan was having a very difficult time holding it together as he heard the sounds of a firework screaming behind. Soon the firework popped, causing him to panic and trip again. causing him to slide down the stairs creating a large crashing sound.
"Uh-oh! BOOM NIGHT! It's really starting!" Dolly screamed in terror, "Shoulda stayed home!" She cried out before jumping into the boat. Near Fergus, he sees what appears to be a metal creature lifting itself from the ground full of anger and aggression, only to reveal itself to be Dylan who groaned in pain.
"Dylan! Where did you..." Charlie asked out loud before looking down to see what was unfolding in front of him, "Oh, there you are." He said before sliding down the staircase.
"Huh? Dylan? And Charlie, wow! Rockin' them rabbit ears!" He greeted them with a smirk. Dylan unfortunately lost his balance again and fumbled over before falling into the canal, "And I see Officer Shepard is on duty tonight?" He asked as he chuckled nervously since Charlie and him had interacted before while he was on duty.
"Easy Fergus I'm not here to book ya." Charlie chuckled but looked around, "Hey uh, have you seen Dolly by any chance?"
"She up there." He said pointing up to the boat while peeking over to the canal as Dylan popped out of the water, spitting water out of his mouth, to which Fergus laughed at him, "I shoulda had a pool party." He said. Dylan finally pulled himself out of the water before stomping his canned foot down (getting water to spew out). He did not look very happy.
"Hand over my sisters, you foxy scoundrel!" He demanded before he finally gave in to his urge and shook, sending water to fly everywhere.
"Oh gee, thanks Dylan." Charlie complained as he put up his paws to block the water.
"Chill, Dyl. Like I told your solder brethren, Dolly's hiding inside." He gestures to Dolly who was hiding in a bathtub and was trembling in fear. Dylan sees this and immediately started to snicker.
"Dylan." Charlie said sternly, getting him to stop.
"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't realize we were playing tennis this evening." He teased as Big Fee and Sid pushed Dolly to the boys.
"Yeah, and You don't look anything like a giant can of dog food!"
"Woohoo! Burn!" Big Fee yelled as she and Sid went to high five, only for Sid to pull his hand back, and causing her to fall into the water, "Whaa- Oounh!" She shouted before falling into the water, getting everyone to look over.
"How you feeling Dolly?" Charlie asked her.
"I'm... I'm good." She nervously said before getting a suspicious look from him and Dylan.
"Just grab Dorothy and let's get outta here!" Dylan said to Dolly.
"What are you talking about? Dorothy's? Not here."
"Yes she is! She followed you out!"
"Uhh- She should be in the house with you!"
"Yeah, she should, but she's not, because someone just had to go out on Boom Night!" Dylan fired back.
"ENOUGH!" Charlie yelled out getting in between the two, "I don't think you guys realize but we have a pup running around by herself with no supervision! Can we not do this until we find her?!"
"Charlie's right, and remember, earlier on, Dorothy was hanging by the bonfires." Fergus said popping up behind Charlie.
"Oh, she never forgets a..." Dolly said before she gasped on relaxation.
"A stick!" The trio said in unison.
"We gotta go, now!" Charlie yelled out and the trio left the boat to head for the boat. Well... it was more a stumble due to Dylan's helmet falling on his head, while Dolly was bouncing around.
"Not guilty, not sorry." She said to Charlie and Dylan.
"Of course you would say that." Charlie replied as he pushed Dylan slightly, keeping him from falling on his face.
"Ok- shortcut!" Dolly yelled out and bounced passed them.
"You've got a sore butt!?" Dylan asked her not to hear what she said.
"No! She said shortcut!"
"She said short mutt?" Dylan asked before Charlie got in front of him and stopped him from running, along with Dolly who landed behind them with an annoyed face.
"Maybe lose the earmuffs." She said and knocked the helmet off of Dylan. Running off while Charlie helped fix his helmet before the boys followed Dolly.
Entering into a montage. Dylan, Dolly, and Charlie are shown running through the streets to the park, dodging people and peeking behind corners like if they were action movie, though they were on a rescue mission.
First they stopped at a hotdog stand and hid behind the sign before the two took off, they soon ran passed what looked like Mr. Fuzzy but the crew didn't have time to double check as they continued. The trio were then shown running across the bridge before Dolly and Charlie ran up a flight of stairs while Dylan ran around it before skidding to a halt to look around. Seeing that there was no sign of Dorothy, he took off with Dolly and Charlie following him.
Though breaking the seriousness out for a second. Dylan was shown sneaking while Charlie was ahead sniffing the ground. Unfortunately for them, Dolly still hasn't learn how to brake properly and immediately crashed into the boys, causing them to tumble together. A girl watched from afar and laughed.
"Silly doggy." She said.
Back to the serious montage... Dylan and Dolly peeked from behind a corner before Charlie skidded in front of them with a nod that the close was clear. He quickly turned around and immediately started sprinting with Dolly following him. Dylan realized that the two had already stated moving before he was ready and he chased after them, crossing the street before Dolly was in the middle of a street where fire engine sirens could be heard. Dylan quickly pulled Dolly back to his side and his from the fire truck where they could see there dad howling like the siren as they drove by.
Once the truck cleared they could see Charlie motioning them to continued down the street which the two do until finally they reached the park.
"We finally made it." Charlie said but before entered, Dylan and Dolly stopped and froze at the entrance, frozen in fear at all the people and fire crackers that were popping.
"Uhh- a-after you." Dylan said to Dolly who seemed to be conflicted on moving forward.
"No no. You got this." She said trying to edge Dylan on as they stared at all of the sparkles. Charlie sees this and immediately groaned and rolled his eyes before jumping down to there level.
"Hey hey hey. Come on you two." He said to them, "We gotta find Dorothy, she in there by herself."
"Charlie's right, we gotta rescue her." Dolly said, to which Dylan sighed.
"Follow me and stay as low as you can." He said and entered the park with Dylan and Dolly following close behind him. Dylan and Dolly kept as low as they can be while Charlie led them through the crowd. Suddenly the two stopped and screamed in terror.
"More hot dogs for the grill!" A cook yelled out as he held out his tongs and spatula, but to Dylan and Dolly this was scary for them and they started off, leaving Charlie.
"Guys wait!" He yelled out but it was too late. Dylan and Dolly separated and ran into different directions with Dylan running off to the large bonfire while Dolly ran in the opposite direction, "Dolly!" He yelled out and raced off her.
"I can't do this! I can't do this!" Dolly cried out before reaching a nearby tent and dove into it, literally cowering in fear, "I can do this, I can't do this!" She cried out as tears started to form in her eyes.
"Dolly!" Charlie was heard as he approached the tent that Dolly ran into. Once he entered, he saw Dolly curled herself into a ball trying to act as small as she could, even some of the tennis balls falling off and scattered the floor, "Dolly? Are you okay?" He asked her, causing her to sniffle as she looked up to him.
"No! N-no I can't do this!" She cried out as she tried to hide herself, "I-I shouldn't have gone out."
"Hey hey hey." Charlie said and immediately ran over to her, knocking off her helmet and wrapped her into a hug, "Take a breather Dolly." He said to her, trying to calm Dolly down by letting her breath, "I'm here, I'm here." He said.
"Why am I so stupid sometimes?" She asked him as she sniffed up the snot that was forming in her nose.
"Oh Dolly. You're never an idiot."
"I'm not?"
"Never, you're the coolest dog I know in the whole barking world!" Charlie exclaimed, to which Dolly smiled at his kind statement.
"Thanks dude." She said and returned the hug to him.
"No problem, now come on. We gotta find Dylan."
{WITH DYLAN}
Dylan was in more of a panic as he ran as fast as he can towards the large pile of sticks. Unfortunately for him, his helmet tilted down, blinding him in the process only for him to trip and crash into the large pile. Once he backed up, he shook his head and just so happens to look up to see Dorothy climbing the large pile of sticks.
"Dorothy!" He gasped outloud before growling angrily, "Not on my watch." He said, and heroically (or rather stupidly) jumped onto the bonfire and began climbing it. As he climbed, many people gathered around and were getting ready to light up the huge bonfire when Dolly and Charlie skidded to a halt.
"Look there's Dorothy!" Charlie yelled out.
"And Dylan's climbing after her!" Dolly yelped and hurried over to the large crowd. Jumping up onto some of the humans shoulders to get a better look at Dylan.
"Wait, Dylan!!" Dolly yelled out before jumping down.
"Dylan!"
"Stop!" Both Charlie and Dolly yelled out trying to get Dylan's attention but they were too far away. At this time a human approached the large pile of sticks and pulled out a BBQ lighter and tried to get it to light. After several attempts he finally got it to light. Meanwhile, Dolly and Charlie watched in horror as Dylan struggled to climb up the large pile.
"What do we do?!" Dolly asked him. Before he could answer, the fountain behind them started, startling both Charlie and Dolly. After staring at the water dancing, Charlie smirked.
"I got an idea."
Back with Dylan, he was shown struggling until finally he was able to reach the top of the large pile.
"Gotcha!" Dylan said and lifted up his helmet... only to see that it was just a plastic bag caught on a stick and flowing through the wind, "Aw, No!" He said disappointed and now more worried, "Dorothy!"
Back with Dolly and Charlie. Dolly was shown planting her paws into some of the spouts where the water would come out and started building up pressure.
"Just a little more pressure and these should lift you up to Dylan." He said as Dolly grunted in response while she held her feet into the spouts.
"Let's hope this works." She said. Suddenly, Big Ben chimed.
"We don't have another option!" Charlie yelled out. Back with Dylan he heard Big Ben chimed and started to hear the humans down below start their countdown which he neag to panic. No Dorothy on site, she could be anywhere, and they didn't have long... that is until he looked down and saw Dorothy!
"Oh, Dorothy!" He exclaimed in joy but realized... she's been at the house this entire time. As we see her sitting on the roof giggling and excitedly watching, " You're alive! But on the roof without eardrum protection!" He said freaking out that this whole time she's been safe and sound at home, "And everything's about to go off! I'm comin'!" He yelled and started to slide down the large pile of sticks... only to skid to a halt upon seeing that smoke had started to rise up, "Uh-- Aah!" He yelled out and immediately ran back up to the top.
With Dolly and Charlie, the pressure underneath them really started to built up and they seem to be ready to be lifted off.
"Alright Dolly, get ready."
"I don't think I can hold it for much longer!" Dolly yelled out as she gritted her teeth.
"And... NOW!" He yelled out, letting go of the pressure from the build up, sending him and Dolly flying up like rockets up to the top of the bonfire where Dylan was completely surrounded by smoke.
"Heeeeel..." He tried to scream out from help, but Dolly immediately met him and crashed into him, causing the duo to crash into a pile of leaves down below. Dylan immediately popped out of the leaves, "Oh, ho." He said before Dolly popped out of the leaves laughing.
"That was awesome!" Charlie yelled out excitedly as he ran over to the Dalmatian siblings
"Thank you two."
"Sorry bro." Dolly immediately said and looked away from him.
"Wait, did you say the 'S'-word?" Dylan asked rather shocked. But Charlie immediately jumped.
"No time Dylan. Where's Dorothy?!"
"She's been at the house this whole time."
"Oh wonderful! You mean to tell me this whole thing was for nothing?!"
"We gotta hurry. She has no ear protection!" Dylan exclaimed.
"Then what are we standing around here for, race you there!"
"Go Dalmatians Go!!" Charlie yelled out and ran after Dolly while Dylan picked up from the rear only for them to stop when they see the same fire truck drive by. The one where Doug is howling like the fire siren.
He was about to take a breath when he spotted Dylan, Dolly, and Charlie (who was comedically waving to him)
"Hiya Doug!" He yelled out, much to Doug's horror of seeing his oldest children out on Boom Night. He quickly rubbed his eyes to see if his eyes deceived him, and when he looked again he saw that it was just a bunch of trash sitting next to Charlie who was still waving at him. At first he was a bit confused... but he soon saw that Charlie was wearing his police vest and shrugged, thinking that Charlie was called in so he went back to howling with the siren.
Once the truck drove by, Charlie looked behind the trash to see Dolly and Dylan sitting behind it.
"Okay you two, he's gone." He said, to which Dolly and Dylan sighed relief, "Now come on you two, let's make tracks back to home."
{LATER}
The front of the Dalmatian Residence bursted open. Dylan and Dolly rushed in panting heavily as Charlie followed behind him.
"We're coming, Dorothy!" Dylan yelled out as the three races up the stairs.
"Don't spare any energy!" Charlie yelled out and started to pass both Dylan and Dolly. But Dylan surprisingly outran him and was the first to make it to the roof, Charlie followed a close second, but Dolly... she got stuck, "Oh Dolly! Hang on!" Charlie yelled out and ran back to help Dolly while Dylan sprinted to Dorothy.
"Keep your brain in!" He shouted, getting her to look back and smile at him adorably.
"Ok. I'm officially over the suit."
"Am I going to do all the lifting or are you going to help me." Charlie asked as he pulled on Dolly when Charlie ripped off a ball, "Oh, oops..." He said before he and Dolly gasped together.
"Trigger word!" They both said.
"BALL!" Dolly screamed out... hoping the pups could hear her.
{INSIDE}
"Ball?
"Call?" Two pups asked when they looked at each before realizing what they heard.
"Ball?! Ball! Ball! BALL!!" They chanted and like rabid astroids, the pups flew up the stairs.
"Incoming!" Dolly said before squinting awaiting for the explosion of puppies.
"Here they come!" Charlie yelled out... and just as Dolly predicted, the pups exploded out from the roof and created a mushroom cloud above the house. Just as the clock struck zero. Dorothy watched as Dylan slide over and put his paws over her ears.
"Dorothy, are you okay? Is your head splurging out of your ears?!" He asked while praying he made it on time. The only response he got was...
"Ooh!"
"Well look at that." He heard Charlie say, which seems to confuse Dylan, "Hey Dylan, you wanna know why the humans do this every year?" Charlie asked, "Take a look." He said and Dylan opened his eyes to see that Dorothy was fine, but noticed Charlie pointed up to the sky. His eyes dilated to the sight of colorful bright lights splashing into the darken sky and dance around each other.
"Woooow." He said in awe as he seemed mesmerized by what he sees. The other pups including Dolly joined in with awe as they watched the colors explode into different shapes.
"Those, my spotted brethren, are called fireworks... they maybe loud, but they can creat art in the sky." Charlie gestures out as Da-Vinci appeared next to him, her tail wagging on amazement. Soon Dylan started laughing.
"That's cool!" He said as literally all the pups gathered around to watch the show, even Dante but he was still cowering in fear, "All had present, corrected, and un-exploded."
"Gotta love this boom town." Dolly added while everyone watched in amazement.
"I-It's beautiful." Da-Vinci commented.
"It sure is, and you wanna know the best part is... we have the best seats in the house." Charlie added.
"Especially on Boom Night." Dylan said as they continued to watch suddenly he remembered something, "Hey wait a minute." He said before looking over to Charlie, "How come you're not bothered by the booms?" He asked him.
"Oh! That's because I have these in." Charlie said and showed that his ear has something lodged into it, "Ear plugs."
"You sly dog! I never knew you had them in." Dolly exclaimed.
"You thought I was stupid, after your mom told me how sensitive a dog ears were I quickly put them in, I always come prepared." He laughed as everyone else joined in the laughter before it cut to black.

And now it's time for my favorite part of the show! It's time for...
Charlie's Guide To Survive Dalmatian Street
"Hey everyone, it's that time again where I give you some tib bits of Camden Town." Charlie said as he walked down the hall, "If there's one person who is just a bundle of joy but can be such a hassle, it is our next topic." Charlie said as he looked over to a painting of Dorothy, "Dorothy." He announced as the picture frame lowered to show Dorothy who giggled and waved, "Otherwise known as... Little Munchkin." He said before it was time for a montage.
'Dorothy is the littlest pup out of the entire family, and being the smallest means sometimes she can be misplaced.' Charlie explains as we're shown highlights of moments where Dolly, Charlie, and Dylan are searching for her, from the episode above.
'Dont let her cuteness fool you, sure she can be cute bundle of joy. But like Dizzy and DeeDee, she can be... a handful sometimes.' Charlie continues as we see more highlights from previous episodes.
'One key note of Dorothy is she has a major teething problem. Anything she gets her paws on will turn into her newest chew toy.' Charlie explains as the house covered in bite marks with Dorothy was on the railing chewing it. Soon the highlights ended with Charlie sitting down on the floor with a tennis ball in his right paw.
"My advice, if you ever see Dorothy, keep an eye out for her teething problem, you may never know when your phone or hand will become her next chew toy. But other than that, she's the cutest thing in the world." He said and rolled the ball over to Dorothy who pounced ontonit, "Ain't that right Dorothy?" He asked her, to which at first she playfully giggled.
Charlie watched as she played with the ball before his face changed to horror as Dorothy started chewing on the ball, almost shoving it entirely into her mouth.
"Wow... we really need to work on that with you." He said surprised at what he saw before turning to the reader, "With that... I hope you enjoyed your stay and hope to come back soon, and remember. It may be a rough life but it's a dog's life and we love it, right here on Dalmatian Street, until next time... bye." He said waving to the camera. Ending the episode.
