«NARRATION»

Lisa was seated at the corner of the dance practice room, whilst a soulful tune played from the speakers. She was reviewing every dance step, trying to point out the mistakes as she keenly scrutinized the performance. Finally the best came to an end and a bright smile flashed on her face.

"Yiieee!" She clapped enthusiastically, running into the arms of Chaeyoung who panted of exhaustion.

Her bestie Rosie, or Rosé as she was known, was about to debut with her solo album. Rosie wasn't confident with some of the movements in her choreography and so, Lisa decided to pitch in and cheer for her and chisel her moves.

"You did so well Chaengie!! You make me proud!" She beamed with joy as the blonde haired shied away.

"I should be the one thanking you for staying this late for me at the studio. You're the best bub!"

"Stop tearing up bish." Lisa pouted, wiping her tears off. "My Chaeng's going solo in a week!!!"

The two of them jumped in excitement of finally getting to have their own solos to present to the blinks who waited for it since ages bygone.

Just then, Lisa phone rang as Rosie peeked in. "You should take the call, Jungkook's been persistent."

"Okay. Be right back." Lisa mouthed, before moving out of the room to receive the call.

"Hello bun?" She answered, when she heard a soft groan from the other end.

"Heyyy." Jungkook rasped out.

"I said I'm busy with Rosie's practice, then why were you calling me? It's over 20 missed calls now."

"Babe, I miss you." He cooed. "I want cuddles."

"It isn't possible to stop by your dorm this late, Koo. Your hyungs might be around andㅡ"

"Come on, pretty please?" He whined as Lisa decided to give in into her bunny's cries.

"Okay, fine. I'll be there in fifteen, hmm? Bye, love you."

"I'll wait. Love you!" He made a smooching sound on the phone tow which she chuckled.

Turning around, she saw Rosie giving her a suspicious glare, that eventually transitioned into a smirk.

"I heard it." She folded her arms, posing like a detective.

"Uh...what?"

"Don't pretend Lili, I always had a doubt that you two weren't just best friends as you said."

"Rosie, promise me you'll keep it a secret. No one knows." Lisa bit her quivering lip, her hands trembling with the fear of getting caught.

"You secret is safe with me. I promise." Rosie chortled, taking her hand in hers.

"Aww I love you!" Lisa pecked her cheek as she waved her goodbye, before heading off to Bangtan's dorm.

It had only been a month since Lisa had started dating Jungkook. Both of them being idols, obviously were havinga  hard time to see each other, although the sparks flew even when they were back to being friends.

Both of them had kept the matter to themselves, slowly adapting to the thought hence it was unknown to their group mates as well. At least now, Chaeyoung was the first to know about it.

Giving a quick knock, she was welcomed by Hoseok at the door.

"Happy belated birthday oppa!" Lisa beamed, as the latter gave her a side hug. "I saw your dance movie the other day, you killed it! So when are we having a collab?" He joked, getting her inside as she closed the door behind her.

"It will be a dream come true for me to work with you! Like you're a dance legend." Lisa rejoiced before greeting the other members.

"Lisa-yah!" Everyone turned their heads to meet Jin, the eldest who made his way out from the kitchen in an apron.

A pink one to be specific, that still suits his pink princess tag.

"When Jungkook informed us that you were coming over, Jin hyung got excited and so he dashed straight into the kitchen to make a special treat." Namjoon informed.

"Aww, that's so sweet of you!"

"I had do, after all you're the only person that acknowledges my jokes than these dumb headed creatures."

"Partner in crime, ofcourse!" The two of them laughed so did the others.

"Where's Koo?"

"Finally that you noticed my absence." He showed himself, dressed in a white hoodie and plaid track pants as he pulled Lisa into his arms with a bright smile. She relaxed herself in his warmth, inhaling his faint scent.

"Slowly pulling away, the two found all the other guys staring at them, with an obvious smirk lingering on their lips.

"What?"

"The hug took long enough." Jimin snickered.

"Jungkook gets special treatment." Taehyung added, before everyone dismissed the conversation and settled down to watch a film.

Scrolling through a list of movies, Jimin and Taehyung bickered over which one to play until Namjoon finally put on a descent one after the two gave up on their argument.

Jungkook shuffled a little before heading upstairs to get a blanket. Settling himself beside her on her couch, he covered both of them as the movie started to play.

Due to exhaustion from the day's schedule and lack of interest, Lisa felt her eyes closing until Taehyung accidentally nudged her. "Sorry bud." He whispered in his baritone voice before Jungkook passed him a death glare that he didn't seem to notice.

A little more into the movie, Jungkook sank deeper into the couch, moving his hand under the blanket to locate her hand and intertwined it with his.

The two of them smiled, drowning into each other's loving gaze as Lisa wrapped her arms around his neck. Jungkook pecked her lips and cheeks multiple times as Lisa felt her cheeks getting heated by his cuteness. Spooning her in his embrace, she melts in his warmth.

Jungkook's eyes were fixated on Lisa the whole time, to say. He admired her side profile, her long, raven coloured hair that posed as a barrier to her beautiful face; admiring every feature, he observed how cutely she tried to keep her eyes fixed to the screen, trying her best to stay awake.

Lisa tried to stifle a heavy yawn as they watched the film, but Jungkook could easily infer that his girlfriend didn't have a tad bit of energy left to keep her eyes painstakingly open.

"You sleepy?" He whispered as she hummed slowly in response. "Come here." He guided his arms for her to rest her head against his chest, her back resting against one of his arms.

Letting his boyfriend instincts get the best of him, Jungkook traced his thumb along the back of Lisa's hand, the fingers of the other gently running against her hair.

A lot of thoughts running wildly in Lisa's mind were almost immediately, brought to a halt by the soft caress as her eyelids slowly started to get heavy again as she began to let out soft snores.

Her face resembled like an angel, driven with a shimmer of innocence and purity. Watching her finally relax and sleep soundly after a number of sleepless nights brought a smile at Jungkook's face. Jungkook couldn't help but wonder how poorly Lisa was treated by the people she loved and cherished the most: her fans.

She wasn't the one to blame though, he had known. Lisa was a very hardworking idol, sometimes in pursuit of giving her best she had a tendency to overwork sometimes. They had been dating for a month, true; but Jungkook had known her for over four years now. He knew what made her happy, upset, emotional, hurt and so he had promised to himself to strive hard and feel all of those emotions with her.

Although an extrovert, Lisa wasn't quite expressive when it came to her fears or her emotions in general. Maybe this was why she became an easy target of those toxic fans, who called themselves as blinks.

For the smallest of her achievement he'd remember, she would always credit it to the love and trust the blinks rested in her.

But what would she get instead? Barrels and tons of hate. Hate for probably her popularity, her personality, her skills, her talents or prolly, her sole existence.

Sometimes Jungkook would observe how Lisa would become insecure of the talents she possessed and was once proud of. He would become regularly pissed coming across every single hate comment directed at her.

He knew there wasn't anything he could do to stop that; since he had been at Lisa's place at some point of time. He himself, was a subject of criticism and hate. But all he knew that he could do, was to stay by her side and just focus on them, assure her that he wouldn't always be there, that even though hate existed, love did too.

Because after all, hate is something a person learns in due course of time; hate isn't something that a person inherits after birth.

Hate is mortal and superficial. But love? Love is eternal. Because you only learn to love someone after you know them inside out and you wish to secure them against all the evil powers in the world.

That's something Jungkook wanted for Lisa. He loved her to the moon and back.

"I love you." He whispered, pecking her lips for umpteenth time of the day.

"Hey Jungkook, pass me the blanket too?" Jimin, who sat at the other corner of the couch, desperately asked for the covers.

"Get your own, that's what I did, Jimin-ssi." Jungkook pointed upstairs.

"Phew, that's cold." He rolled his eyes at the maknae's inconsiderate attitude, before yanking away the blanket exposing them both.

A sudden wave of anxiety seethed through Lisa's cheeks, feeling the absence of covers as she shivered. Jungkook had to rub her back gently to keep her grounded.

"Shhh...its okay baby." He caressed her, letting her face fall against his hoodie as Jimin's eyes widened at the mention of the nickname, baby. By now, Taehyung seemed to have heard the same too, as he gestured Yoongi to turn off the TV as everyone's gaze was fixated on Lisa's petite frame resting against Jungkook's cuddling onto him as he kissed her hair, falling over her tender eyes.

"Wh-wait, I understand you guys are close, but I didn't estimate that close." Jimin asked concerned, passing a nervous laugh.

"Its obvious Jiminie, they're obviously dating duh." Yoongi scoffed as a matter of common sense.

"Hyung, I...I was only saying so since I didn't know that-" Jimin tried to argue, but Yoongi blocked him midway. "It wasn't rocket science guessing the hinst they've been dropping by. I mean, Hobi, Joonie and I have been watching the ship videos and we can tell enough about what the shippers think too."

Jimin felt at a loss of words to make a proper comeback, at the savage reply given by Yoongi.

"Love birds, how cute!" Hoseok exclaimed loudly making a heart gesture with his hands, the disturbance causing Lisa to shift in her sleep.

"Hyung! She's trying to sleep." Jungkook rasped out, protectively wrapping his arms around his girlfriend.

Jin walked over to them, picking up the covers that lay on the floor. "I'm proud of you, maknae. Keep her happy." He smiled.

"You sound like a dad." Taehyung replied.

"A proud dad." He corrected. "Take her to your room, she looks very tired."

"Hmmmkay. Thanks Hyungs. For understanding, perhaps."

"We would've still appreciated it if we knew sooner, but anyways now that we know, we wish you nothing but the best Jungkookie." Namjoon ruffled Jungkook's hair, smiling proudly at the younger.

Lifting Lisa in his arms, he carried her away into his room, laying her down on his bed. He moved away only to find Lisa's eyes fluttering open.

"Did they wake you?" He asked, palming her cheek.

"They know now, don't they?" Lisa argued back, panicking.

"Yeah. They're okay with it. Happy too, judging by the way they were smiling and co gratulating me downstairs."

Lisa lazily smiled, before gently pressing her lips against Jungkook's, letting the sweet tinge dominate over her anxiety as her mind departed to a state of serenity.

He giggled through the kiss, deepening it by pulling her close, not intending to leave a single gap between them to make her feel all sorts of love, warmth and affection he could cherish her with.

Jungkook pulled away, giving her a few minutes to get adjusted with the surroundings around her, as she observed with her hazy eyesight.

"I need to drive back...it must be already too late and...I'm shooting tomorrow..." Lisa sighed, mumbling to herself her difficult routine with Jungkook listening her worries.

Snickering a little after listening to her rambles, Jungkook pressed his lips to her forehead making all the concerns disappear for a second. Leaning down, beside her, he calmed her again.

"All you have to do now is to take a rest, my love. Because I know, you won't be able to sleep back after reaching there, I want to cuddle with you and maybe you'll sleep better." He brushed her arm, to ease her as he pulled her covers over her and she smiled in return.

"Thank you Koo." She rasped out, tightening her grip around his hoodie as he propped himself beside her, dimming the lights of the room.

Her body slowly drifted into a peaceful sleep as her vision suddenly started to fade away. She snuggled close into Jungkook's neck as a smile resided on his lips.

He rested his chin over hers, humming a lullaby quite softly as he let his body to fall asleep too.

"Goodnight, my little carrot."

FIN.

Requested idea by bo_hoed and riyuki2004

A number of similar requests came to me, but since I can't remember all the profiles that requested this imagine, so I decided to compile everything into a single oneshot.

I know that my oneshots aren't the same funny ones as before and are slowly deepening in thought and perspective, perhaps this is why the reads have gradually decreased and they aren't interesting to read anymore.

I know even this isn't great either and it would be a major flop too, although let's see what you guys have to say about this♡
