Lisa cursed under her breath as she pulled the blankets from the bed. Unfortunately she pulled the blankets too hard in search of her ring, causing her bestie to fall, butt down on the floor.

RIP Chaeyoung's ass.

"What the fuck bitch! You are such a sadist ㅡ" Rosé rebuked in her Aussie accent, but Lisa couldn't care any less.

She didn't have time for that.

"Chae, please reserve your scolding for another day? I need your help in finding my ring."

Chaeyoung groaned and scrolled through her reminders app to add the reservation. She looked back at Lisa with a surprised face.

"You have 34 more pending scoldings. This adds upto 35. You always do this. Sometimes I think I should unfriend you."

"What! No Chae!! You can't do this to me! What can I do without you my dear chipmunk?" She pleaded by batting her eye lashes and giving her a cute puppy eyed stare.

"Okay fine. Stop making that face, it looks extremely cringey. I'll help you."

"Omg thanks Chae!! You're like my guardian angel!" She hugged the girl as she hugged her back.

Resting her back on the chair, Chaeyoung fixed her hair into a bun as she asked Lisa, "So what exactly are you looking for?"

"The wedding ring. I can't find it since morning. I must've left it on the bedside table or the bathroom platform but I can't seem to remember where I saw it last." Lisa said in one go. She paused to take a breath.

"Hmm....interesting." Chaeyoung scratched her chin, thinking about certain possibilities.

Finally thinking for two minutes straight, she gave up.

"Why don't you just tell him that you lost it? Shouldn't be much big of a deal since he loves you a lotㅡ"

"You think he would accept my apology?! It was a fucking Cartier diamondㅡ"

After a lost of cross examination and another round of searching the whole house, Lisa couldn't find the ring to her despair. She finally decided to apologize to Jungkook for losing the ring.

He loved her, so it wouldn't matter as long as she is in his life, right? They wouldn't argue over a small ring, would they?

The clock struck seven in the evening and it was soon time for Jungkook to return home from work.

Lisa strolled to and fro across the room trying to come up with a good apology.

"Jungkook, the thing is...I lost the wedding ring. I'm sorry. I swear I'm not careless, I never am. You know me right? Please forgive me...." I think this much is enough. He wouldn't murder me for a fucking ring.

Or maybe I could seduce him so that he forgets it?

Not a good idea, he went rough on me last week and I still can't walk properly. I should just innocently walk up to him, kiss and makeup. I should stop overthinking he shouldn't get to know about my nervousness.

So she waited by the window until she saw the car make it's way into the parking lot. And felt her heartbreaks quicken.

Soon small beads of sweat formed on her forehead, her breaths shorten. Gaining some composure, she opened the main door, to reveal Jungkook standing in front of her, about to ring the doorbell, equally surprised as she was.

"I....I saw you so I just...." she said, fidgeting with the hem of her dress while looking down.

"I see." He gave a hesitant nod and entered inside.

"Shall I get you water?" She bit her lip realizing she had just stuttered.

"Oh....okay?" He surprisingly ignored her too, untying his shoelaces in silence.

"Here." She said, handing him a glass of water as he hesitantly took it, while looking at his wife in bewilderment. He loosened his tie and Lisa immediately turned away from him.

"The house looks clean today. You did dusting?" He said looking around while drinking from the glass.

"When is it not clean?" Lisa asked with a frown. "N-no, I meant that its clean. But it looks extra clean today." "Ah....yes." She bit her lip once more, compelling to say the truth.

"So Juㅡ"
"So Liㅡ"

The two paused at the same time, passing shocked glares at each other.

"You go firstㅡ" they paused again, realizing they were muttering the same words at the same time.

Jungkook murmured something to himself, as if scolding himself over something before turning towards Lisa.

Taking a deep breath he said, "You go first, Lali."

"Uhm....Jungkook....the thing is that....."

He looked at her with a curious expression.

"....uh....I....losttheweddingring."

"More slow please?" He asked with crooked eyebrows.

"Jungkook, I lost the wedding ring." She said with a heavy sigh.

She expected to hear and earful from Jungkook, but hearing bo response, she raised her head to find his face flushed, completely shook at what he had just heard.

"J-jungkook? Oh my god, are you brain freezed! Say something!!" She panicked, shaking him.

"Oh yeah I am okay....I think."

"I'm so sorㅡ"

"Uhm Lisa, it isn't you who lost the ring....actually I lost it."

Now it was her turn to get shocked.

"What do you meanㅡ"

"I flushed it down the toilet by accident."

A moment of awkward silence spread across the room.

"I'm really sorry Lisa, I didn't see it was there on the bathroom platform and it feel down by accidentㅡ"

"YOU LITTLE PIECE OF SHIT!" Lisa was flaring in anger and contempt.

"AND HERE I SEARCHED THE WHOLE FUCKING HOUSE, EMBARRASSED MYSELF, PLANNED A FUCKING APOLOGY TO SEE THIS!!!" She practically roared.

"I swear I'll do anything to make it up for youㅡ" To say Jungkook was scared would be an understatement. Because he was trembling, severely, his heart palpitating.

"We're eating out today. AND CALL THE DAMN PLUMBER!" She went into their room and Jungkook soon followed after.
