His shaded eyes flickered about in the dragged silence, only to meet hers, as she clung onto his pant leg like the child she was.

Shizuo grasped on the soft, fragile teddy bear he'd gotten-- quite easily from the crane machines, at that. All you really had to do was (accidentally) break it. Sure, it was terrible property damage, but it was unintentional.

The most difficult part was to prevent crushing it with his uncontrollable strength, the power that he hated so much.

"Sorry, Akane..." he awkwardly muttered under his breath. "Well, this is for you, I guess."

The ten year old's eyes gleamed, as she politely took it with her tiny hands. An evanescent smile flashed, her lips tilting.

"You didn't have to do this for me, but thanks.... I don't need a teddy bear, because I have you by my side, Big Brother Shizuo! ♥"
