J looks at her as if she disturbed him while he was watching the last over of India-Pak asia cup finals!

Me: "Dei, naa onu paathen..nee nambidhaan aaganum..Mullai Kathira paathu kannadichaanga da!" she discloses her discovery.

Ka: "Kutti anni! Kathir anne Mullai anni paathu kannadichuchu nu sonna dhaan nambara mari ila.. idhu nambaramari dhaan irku" he interrupted.

Me: (hitting him on his head) "Dei.. epo paar ottuketukitu.. poda andha pakam!"

Ka: "Wokay, naa chips saapda poren" he shrugs and leaves to the kitchen.

Me: "Dei jeeva, idhula edho sadhi iruku da! Mullai kannu adichaanga naa paathen"

Je: "Yei iva vera oruthi.. ch.."

Me: "Iru iru.. 'chumma iru de..' adhaane?! unkita sonen paaru hmmkmmm! Worstu jeeva nee! Pondatiya ivlo chinna matter la kuda support panala nee.. un thambiya paaru.. Mullai ya thaangi pidikaraaru!" she tried to explain.

J: "Avan thaangi pidikala na andha pulla keezha vizhundhurum de.. heheheh!" replied Jeeva proud of his so-called humour sense.

Me: "Deeeeei... nee Soori fan aa!!!
Kashtakaalam.. idhalan joke nu sirichutu... po da Domato!!!Naa thoonga poren.. elaarum ekkedu ketu tholayunga.. naane yoschu kandupichukaren indha marmatha!" she left to her room shaking her head in disgust!

Kathir who was holding the collapsed Mullai, gently drags her into their room and latches the door.
The minute the latch is bolted, Mullai jumps up from Kathirs hold and stands straight like a spring losing its tension smiling.

K: "Paah, Naa savitri ya paathurken, padmini aa pathurken, simran aa paathurken jothika va paathurken.. trisha va pathirken nayantara va paathurken.. aana ipdi oru nadippa engayume paathadhilla da saami!!!!" he exclaims like Anniyan Prakashraj.

M: "Yenga.. porum porum.. romba otadheeya...
Already romba thegachu poi irken...epdi namma performance haan haan?!?" she raised her imaginary collar along with her arched eyebrows beaming with smile!

K: "Vaarthaye illa... en vaazhkaila naa en anna anni minadi indhamari ninnadhe ila!
Rombaaa azhagaaa pannita ma!!" he replied sarcastically.

M: "Elaathukum oru arambam venum illa Maamu..." she winks at him with her tongue out!

K: "Enadhu Maamu va.... unnaaaaa.."!he playfully starts looking around for something as if hes going to throw on her and takes the sombu....

He takes the sombu and hands it over to her..
K: "Seri romba varuthapadadha.. thanniya kudichutu padu, elaam naaliku pesipom" he badly wants her to calm down as he feels too uneasy to see her upset.
She hastily gulps some water and with a stern voice
"Yenga, unga kaiyya kudunga"..

Kathir looks at her as if she said actor Vimal was the next superstar.

M: "Dha.. chumma kudunga ipdi.. onum panidamaatenga...
Enna paakareeha? Enna panna seri aaven nu keteeha la.. kaiyya kudunga ipdi" she said intensely.

He obliges. She holds his hand and places his palm on top of the sombu...
"Ipo solunga, indha sombu mela sathiyam, Mullai aduthu panapora sambavathuku naa thonaya kooda irupen"

K: "Hey enna sombu mela laam sathiyam pana solra.. enna velayaatu idhu?" he was genuinely confused.

M: "Pinna.. en mela panna sona neenga paatuku kavalapadama panitu poiduveeha.. aprom sathiyatha meerinalum meeruveenga, ungala laam namba mudiyaadhu.. indha sombu mela vaanginadhaan sathiyatha meerama irupeeha.. hmmm pannunga ipo.. naa seri aaganuma venaama?" she pouts with puppy eyes!

K MV: "Iva namma mela kaatara paasathuku Ivaluku nu edhuvume naama panadhilla nu ipodhaan yoschom.. perusa iva ena sambavam panida pora..kaikeyi maari varamaa keka poraa.. paavam.. sathiyam dhaana.. pani vepom" he melted seeing those big round eyes.

K:"Sari... nee ena sambavam pannalum naa thonayaa irupen. Indha Sombu mela sathiyam.. poruma?!"

M: "Rightttu.. ipo ena nadakudhunu paarunga..
Abi dekho choopisthaanu" she flashes a radiant smile with her eyes sparkling!

K to himself : "Enna iva dhideernu kannadathula pesitu pora?!
Idhu kannadam dhaana? oru vela marati yo?!"

She starts walking out swiftly.. and then suddenly changes her walk to a clumsy one.. Kathir unable to understand just runs behind her to keep up with her...

Back to Present:
M: "Hayyo venam venam.. hahah.. adikaadheega.."she runs around laughing!
After a few seconds of silly running and chasing, they sit down on the bed with safe social distancing norms to catch some breath.

K: "Aama adhulaam irkatum.. velila ennnnnna pechu?! Kudicha ipdidhaan pesuvaanga nu unaku epdi theriyum!! Rommmmba anubavamo?!" he asked her with a teasing smile.

M: "Adhu.....adhu....
Enaku therinja payyan orthan irkaan.. avan kudichutu pesinadhalaam paathurkenaa... adhaan apdiye.... lightaaaa bit adichuten hehehe" she replies with some shyness.

K: "Therinja payyana.. yaar avan.. enaku theryaama?! haan?"

M: "Adhu.. avan romba PAAAAVAM nga.. apdinu avane solipaan.. avan manasu muzhukka roja...ennoda Athai payyan dhaan..." she blushes uncontrollably with her eyes not leaving his face.

Kathir gets instantly infected with the blush and his cheeks turn the shade of the 2000 rupees note inside Moorthy's purse.

K: "Hey.. ndha... ena nee enalaamo solra.." he is at loss of words and is in cloud 9! He seems to have suddenly stepped into a GVM movie.

M: "Aama solraaha solraaha.. irukardha dhaan sonen.. aniku avan inum neraya sonan.. adutha naal ketaa "Kudigaaran pechu vidinja pochu" ngra mari naana sonnen nu ketutaan.." she animatedly narrates not failing to read Kathir's reaction.

K: "Hey... enna nakkala.. idha naa nambanumaakum..." he knows he said something that he never meant to reveal to her and tried to act aloof like the "Ahaaan"-vadivelu.

K: "seri seri.. adha vidu... Anna Anni minadi enna dhairyam unaku? Edho sathiyam panitome nu summa irundhen..." he desperately changes the topic.

M: "Aamanga!! Yenga.. naa avlo pesinen.. epdinga onume solama enakaaga bottle pathi poi laam soli kaapathineenga?"

K: "Hey, naa onnum nee nenaikra alavuku mosamana purushan illa..Nee mariyadha koraiva edhaa vaartha vitrundha sathiyatha kuda paathurka maaten.
Aana nee pesinadhula konjam nyaayam irundhamari pattuchu. Adhaan..
Dho paaru.. idhukaaga avaha kita adikadi ipdi panlaam nu nenaika kudadhu.. seriyaa... enna irundhalum avanga en annan anni.." he felt like he had to say it;

M: "Adhaan theriyume.. hmmmph!! Irundhalum en kuda serndhu othuzhaichadhuku Thaaaanks!!" she smiles and nods her head in her trademark fashion.

K: "Hey, irukatum Paravaala.. aana sathiyama nee kudicha maadhiri varuva nu edhirpaakala. Enakku oru gift vaanga ivalo alaparaya?!"

M: "Yena neenga ipdi soliteeha. Pona pordhu andha 100roobaiku edhaya vaangitharalam nu yosichen, ipo adhuvum kedayadhu ungaluku!" she faked anger.

After such a thunderous evening which felt like watching multiple re-runs of Muni-1,2,3 and 4, Kathir was tempted to tease Mullai for the shock she gave the entire house.

K: "Oho.. seri.."

M: "Enna seri?"

K: "Illa 100 roobaiku watch engaya kedaikuma nu yosichu paathen, adhaan.." he looks at her with his tongue in cheek.

M: "Ennanga! Nakkala! En thanks aa naa thirupi vaangikren, neenga unga anni kita ketaa edhadhu avangalku pidicha madhiri gifta ungaluku nu soli vaangi tharuvaanga! adha vaangikonga ponga.."  she twitches her lips and rolls her eyes.

He couldnt stop admiring her antics; he imagined every romcom he knew where the hero and heroine fall in love after bantering for a good duration of the movie. He knew his relationship with her has progressed to the next level after tonight.

K: "Ndha.. kovama, summadhaan velayadinen..nee enakaaga gift vaanganum nu ivlo kashtapadardhe periya gift thaan.. ipo nimadhiya thoongu!" he really meant what he said and smiled at her.

M: "Enga thoonguradhu, naaliku kaalaila ezhundha odane oru panchayathu irkume.. adha nenachaale bakku bakku nu irunkunga.. Edho unarchivasapattu veera vasanam pesitu vandhuten.." she starts biting her nails in worry as she lied down on her bed.

K: "Adhulaam onnum aagadhu.. apdi edhaachu aana un athai payyan paathupaan.. nee kavala padama thoongu" with that he lies down with a wide grin.

M: "Yenga.. Onnu sollava.. enaku...ungalavida en athai payyana dhaanga pidichurku!"

K: "Athai payyana.. Irukatum irukatum; Dho varen" kathir makes a mild move;

"Aathiii" she giggles, turns towards the wall and they both fall asleep in a very happy mood.

Outside, Dhanam and Moorthy are sitting with their hands on their heads as if they just finished watching Veerasaami without a break!

Kannan is lying beside them and squirming in his sleep holding his tummy.. he even has a mindvoice in his sleep "Over aa mixture um chips um arachutom pola.. ha.. paathukalam!"

D: "Enna mama idhu, ipadi aagi pochu!" she breaks the ice with her usual dialogue.

Mo: "Yevadi iva... naane adhirchila iruken.. enna ketukitu!! Nee sonna mari 100 rooba kuduthadhu kammi dhaan.. adhukaaga andha pulla kudichutu vandhu kathuradhulaam seriya padala Dhanam.. apdiya koduma padutharom namba?" he was slowly turning into one of the leads from a V.Sekar movie.

D: "Adhaan mama naanum nanachen.." she was so implicit with that response.

Ka(in sleep): "Jinggg chakkk!"

Mo: "Adingu.. deiii." he folds his tongue like Vijaykanth in SattaSabai and Kanna just falls silent.

Mo: "Enaku purila Dhanam... seri padupom, kalaila pesi papom" he concluded without anything else to say in a very emotional tone like Chinna Gounder.

D: "Kandipa pesanum mama.. ipdiye vitom naa

The "athai payyan" talk is absolutely inspired from "Blank Space" by km_creations . I lovvve how adorable Mullai sounded in it and wanted to see if it suits the PS Mullai. Nalla ila na authorai mannikavum.
