The morning after was very quiet at the PS house as the sun rays swept across the living room like Simran's saree pallu on Vijay's face in Priyamanavale songs.

Kanna woke up to an empty living room and thought the entire atmosphere and the lighting felt like a Maniratnam movie after the terror night which felt as if the entire family had a movie marathon of Singam 1,2 and 3 in full volume!

Just then, Dhanam walks in with a plate full of tumblers in her hand closely followed by Moorthy.
Jeeva and Meena walk in and settle down with their tea.

Cut to KM Room:
Kathir had woken up, showered and was getting ready for the day. Mullai wakes up, smiles at Kathir from her bed, and her eyes suddenly grow big.
"Ayoyo, yenga! Vidunchirchunga!" she panics.

K: "Rathiri mudinjaprom vidiyal vandhudhaane aavanum" he replies calmly like Senior Rajinikanth from Muthu.

M: "Summa vidinja paravaalaye! Villangathoda naa vidinjuruku. Yenga, naa velila varalanga.. enaku romba bayama irku!" she was apprehensive.

K: "Ndha.. edhuku ipdi bayapadra, pesaradha dhairyama pesitu edhuku bayam ipo. Seri.. naa modhalla poi Annan Anni kita pesaren. Andha gap la nee un velayalaam mudichuko. Seri ya?" he spoke assuringly.

Mullai was ecstatic, "Unga kiterndhu idha edhirpaakave ilanga".. she said dreamily.

"Adhaan sonen la, elaam un athai payyan paathupaan nu!"  winked Kathir as he walked out of the room.
Mullai couldnt help but hum "Idhupodhum enaku idhu podhume... verenna venum nee podhume!"

Kathir walks into the living room, Moorthy stares at him like Thiruvilayadal Sivaji Ganesan who is going to annihilate him with his netrikann!

Kathir pulls himself up and clears his throat to talk to him.. he tries to mouth "Anneeee".. (cue emotional ps bgm)

Red satta dancer dude pops up in a thought cloud to give assurance "Koochapadaama tell him!"

"Shoo ivan vera!"
"Ahem.. Anne.." (ps bgm continues)

Mo: "Dhanam.. avana en kita pesavenaam nu solu" he said with a poker face.
K: "Ille anne.. naa solradha konjam kelunga"
Mo: "Enna da solapora nee.."
K: "Adh.."
Mo: "Pesadha  da neeyu"
K: "Adhu ila anne.. ena aachu na"
Mo: "Solu da.. andha pullaiku epdi indha pazhakkam?"
K: "Adhaan ne.."
Mo: "Pesadha da neeyu"
K: "Mulla edhuvum.."
Mo: "Oho.. apo andha pulla unkita solitu dhaan senjucha.."
K: "Illanne.."
Mo: "Pesadha da neeyu!"

This was going on like "Enna kaiya pudichu izhuthiya" vadivel comedy. Kathir lost his patience.

"Ayyo anne! Andha segappu satta easya solitaan "idhaan prechana" nu sonna anne purinjupaaru nu! Enna pesa vitta dhaane?" he raised his voice.

Mo: "Yaar da avan segappu satta? En da Jeeva, unaku edhum theryum?"
Before Jeeva could respond,

K: "Ipo adhu mukiyam ila, Anne, naa solavaradha soli mudichuren ne.. aproma neenga enna venaa solunga!
Mullai apadi pannadhu thappu dhaan ne! Aana ava sonadhu oru vidhathula naama elarum yosika vendiya vishayam!" he finished before Moorthy could interrupt.

D: "Kathiru, yaaru kita pesara nu therinju dhaan pesriya! Epolendhu da mama kita ipadi pesa aaramicha nee? un pondatiya edha sona odane kovam pothukitu varudho!" she asked him hysterically like Sivagami devi questioning Bahubali!

K: "Ayo anni! Naa apdiyellam sollala.. neenga avala enna venaa solalaam. Aana ava ena sola varaa nu naamalum kekanum la anni!
Veetla irundhalum unga elaarkume panathevai iruka dhaane seyyudhu. Adhuvum ivuhalum avalum 35 mani neram oyaama packet potrukaanga. Adhuku 100rooba epdi anni patthum?!

Anne, neenga onum thappa nenaikaadheenga" he explained.

Mo: "Ipdiye dhairyam venum nu veetla irukara elaarum kudichom na kudumbam thaangumada kathiru?" he channeled his inner Anandham Mamooty.

K: "Puriyudhu anne.. naa avalta pesaren.. aana, enakkaga avala edhuvum kekadheenga anne.. ava romba bayandhu poi iruka.
Enakaaha ila naalum Murugan mama vu kaaga neenga mannichu dhaan aaganum.
Aana, adhe neram indha pana prechanaya epdi theekardhu nu yoschu solunga ne. Naa edha seyyanum naalum seyyaren."

Mo and D suddenly got emotional seeing Kathir standup for Mullai.

Mo: "Kathiru, neeya da idhu! Eliyum Poonayuma sanda podreengale nu naanga nenachu azhaadha naal ila da! Iniku nee andha pullaikaaga ipdi pesardha patha romba perumaya irku da! Neenga sandhoshama irundha dhaan naange elarum sandhoshama irupom da!
Idhu evlo periyyya vishayam theriyuma da!" he melts down like Thangapathakkam sivaji!

D: "Patheengala mama! Naa ivangala serthu vechadhu nalladhaa dhaan pochu" she showed off all her teeth like the toothpaste ad that played inbetween all the movies.
The trio continued a little more melodrama while Kanna was done with his milk and planned to get some morning snacks as he was getting ready for the next round of movies in the living room.

Me: "Hmmmkmm.. dei Jeeva, enaala mudiyala da! Idhe situation aa naa panirundhen veyyi, namma renduperayum kutravaali koondula niruthi, thooku thandana kuduthu, kollaila kazhugu marathula ethi irupaanga! Jeeva was in an altogether different universe thinking about who that segappu satta could be and how come he advised so well about tackling Moorthy. He was making a mental note to get the contact details of that segappu satta from Kathir; he didnt event hear what Meena said and involuntarily replied "Hey, chumma iru d!"

Me: "Seriyana waste Jeeva nee.. indha aniyayatha inum 1 second kuda enala paakavo kekavo mudiyadhu! Naa kulikka poren! Indha kudumbathula vaakapadanun nu odi vandhen paaru!! En buthiyaaaaaaaaa..." she sounded very much like Nesamani yelling to his apprecenties.

J: "Solu d.. en niruthita?"he came back to this world.

Me: "Adapaavi, ipo matum vera dialogue varudha unaku.. po da!"

Mo: "Yeppa Meena, poi Mullaiya kootitu vaa pa!"

Meena rushes inside to get Mullai as she was too curious to see a huge drama unfold;

Mullai walks into the living room timidly like Thevar Magan Revathi with her eyes searching her athai payyan.
M: "Mama... ennaya..."

Mo: "Mulla, nee edhuvum sollavenaam pa! Elaam Kathir sollitaan. Naanga 100 rooba per-ku kuduthutu nalla gift aa vaangitharalaam nu yosichom. Pesinapadi roobayave kuduthurkanum. Engaluku adhu thonama pochu.
Meena, Mullai, inime oru dabba vechu adhula dhenamum kaasu potu vekkaren pa. Neenga yaarayum keka theva ila, epo panam venumo adhulendhu eduthukonga." he just finishes like VijayaKumar in Naatamai giving the theerpu to 18patti of Pandian Stores.

Ka: "Brother.. apdiye naanum.." he dragged.

Mo: "Dei, andha pakkam unnaya paathen, kondepuduven" he roared at Kanna like Aadukalam Dhanush!

Mo: "Dho paaru pa Mulla, nee nama veetu ponnu. Ipdi kudi gidi nu thappana pazhakkam laam panlaama solu?!" Yes, he is back to the Vaanatha Pola mode.

D: "Vidunga mama, inime apdilaam ava pana maata. Aanalum Mullaiya apdi paaka nalla thamaasha irundhuchu.. illa Meena?!" she pokes her nose into the conversation like an unwanted sing sequence in an action movie.

Me MV: "Ada loosungala, ava kudicha mari nadichu ungala laam mannipu keka vechurka; idhu ungaluku thamasha! Hmmm.. ennatha solla.. indha Jeeva vechutu naa lifelong Mindvoice Meena va ve irka vendidhaan"
Me: (fake laughing) "hehehe aama aama heeehee.."

M: "Ayo otadheenga ka. Mama naa edho theryaama paniten. Inime pana maaten mama." she pouted apologetically.

Mo: "Seri pa, idhuve modhalum kadasiyuma irkatum. Inime edhaa venum naa enna neradiya kelu; illa Kathir kita solu, avan senjuthara poraan" he smiles at her.

K and M have their eyelock moment with the Rigamarisa in the BGM while Meena is staring at the entire thing with utter shock as if she saw an Atlee movie with uncopied original story.

Slowly, Moorthy leaves to the shop and asks Kathir and Jeeva to come a little later as they sit to do some accounts catchup. Dhanam makes some unfunny comic comments at Mullai, convinces everyone it was a huge comedy and forces everyone to fake laugh. She then leaves into the kitchen.

Me: "Yenga Mulla... nethi vera level la irundhuchu. Kaiya kudunga.. naa kekanum nenachadellam ketuteenga"

M: "Adhu.. Meena.. enaku seriya edhuvum nyabagam illanga.. neenga edha solreenga nu seriya therila"

Me MV: "abababba, Nayantara ke tough kudukaraale!"

Me: "Yenga, Nejjjjjaaaammmmma edhuvume nyabagam illeengala?!" she tries to make Mullai confess.

M: "uumhumm.. illengale"

Me: "Oho,. oru vela saraku romba over aagi marandhupocho?! Apdi enna saraku adicheenga?!"

M: "Adhu.. adhu... " she just realized she doesnt know the ABCs of alcohol.

Me: "Beer aa"
M: "Adhu.."
Me: "Oru vela Rum oh!"
M: "Irkalam.. adhu.."
Me: "Ila la tequila va? adhudhaan romba strong nu enga appa solvaaru"
M: "Apo adhudhaanga"
Me: "Wine,whisky idhula edhaavadha?!"
Me MV: "Mavale unna kelvi kekave night fulla saraku pathi google la Phd panitu vandhurken.. maatina d"

M: "Haan.. enaku per laam theriyaadhunga.. avuha enna kudipaagalo adhaan. Neenga vena Jeeva mamava vitu avuha kita ketu therinjukonga.. enaku ulla velai irku" she runs away into the kitchen.

Me (to herself): "Theriyum de, nee poi sona nu theriyum. Adhu Kathir kum therinju enna azhaga unna support panirkaaru. Indha Jeeva vum irkaane.."
"Jeeevaaa dei Jeeva.. inga va konjam.. naa thaniya pesanum" she calls him out.

She sidebars Jeeva and narrates everything about her findings! Jeeva is shell-shocked but doesnt want to admit his weakness; so he uses his Brahmastra to escape from her - "Hey chumma iru d, vera vela ila unaku.. naa kadaiku kelambren".. he says his usual dialogue much to her dismay and runs out dragging Kathir along.

J: "yen da Kathiru, Mulla kudikala dhaana?!" he asks Kathir without hesitating.

'Paasamalare!!Pandian Stores brothereh!!' nu feel panni Kathir agrees to that!

J: "Adapaaaaavi! Epdi da ivlo periya drama ku othukita?! Adhoda avaluku support vera pani pesirka Annan Anni kita! Epdi da Kathiru..."

K: "Anne... namalaye nambi irukara pondati pakkam nyayam irundha naama dhaan pesanum nu thonichu. Seri dhaane?!???

Aprom edhuku ambalainu solikitu namaku dhaadi meesai laam" he coolly said and walked out.

<cue Balu Thevar from Vedham Pudhidhu getting slapped left, right for "Aprom edhuku ambalainu solikitu namaku dhaadi meesai laam" in echoes>

Jeeva stood rooted there stroking his meesai and dhaadi replaying Kathir's last words in his mind.
