Getting The Bad Guys

You looked up from under the tree as a beautiful blond ran up to where you stood with Natsu.

"Natsu!" The girl hunched over with her hands on her knees, "You left me behind!!"

The pink headed boy next to you gave her a huge, apologetic grin, "Sorry, Luce!"

Lucy, the pretty Celestial wizard straightened and looked over at you, "Oh, hi!"

You smiled back, "Hey!"

"I'm Lucy Heartfilia!"

"Nice to meet you, Lucy!" You smiled back and shook her hand, telling her your own name.

Natsu still stared at you, his eyes wide.

Then he addressed his friend, "Luce, this person knows my name!!"

You smiled when Lucy looked over, trying to be as calm, mature and less weird as humanly possible.

"Yeah, I love Fairy Tail and I've always wanted to join."

"Me too! That's how Natsu and I met!!" Lucy laughed over at you.

You gave her a happy smile and remained calm when in truth, you were bubbling up inside and almost ready to burst in excitement.

You were talking with Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia!

People you'd always dreamed of being around.

"You gotta come with us to the guild and meet Happy!" Natsu said to you with his wide grin.

You reached for your bag and slung it on, "Okay! Happy the Exceed?"

"Yeah!" Natsu smiled.

Lucy smiled too, "Come on. We'll take you."

"Hey, Luce..."

You both looked over at Natsu.

"Weren't we sent to do something?"

You glanced back at Lucy to see her thinking for a few minutes.

Suddenly her face pulled into a horrified expression, "Oh no, Natsu! The bank!! We're going to let the crooks escape!"

You blinked when the two guild members started running away from you.

Suddenly they looked back over.

"Hey!" Lucy yelled with a smile.

"Come on!! We're gonna let 'em run away if we don't hurry!!"

Lucy and Natsu reached out to you as you stared at them before a happy smile engaged your features.

"Coming!!"
