Getting Together

Cana plunked down her tiny barrel.

"More, Mira!!" She yelled.

"Right next to you, Cana!" Mirajane's sweet voice shouted from behind the counter.

"Oh, right," The brunette poured herself another drink.

You waited patiently next to the beautiful girl.

She'd called you over all of a sudden and you weren't sure why.

She didn't offer you any drinks and you didn't ask for anything.

"So," Cana gave you a once over before continuing, "I've been looking out for you for a while now, sweets."

Your eyes widened, "Why, Cana?"

She took one long swig of beer before looking back at you, "You. You still don't have a boyfriend yet."

You stared at her for a few moments before a blush began creeping all over your face, "Y-You don't either, Cana!!"

The brunette gave you a sly smirk, "You don't know that for sure..."

Your eyes widened, "Canaaaaa!!!"

The girl cracked up, "Alright, calm down."

You shook your head before leaning in, your elbows propped on the table, "What's with the sudden question?"

"Oh nothin'" She took another long swig of her drink before plunking the vessel down with a thud.

You studied her, "Cana, are you alone?"

She gave you an amused smirk, "Why would it bother me if I was?"

You narrowed your eyes when she began to refill, "Mira!!"

Cana blinked over at you, "Hey, we have everything right here."

"No, we don't," You smiled as you spotted the beautiful bartender make her way over to you, "I'm going to ask Mira to get you someone."

Cana whirled around on her stool to look at you, her eyes wide with fear, "You wouldn't... Don't ask Mira..."

You only smiled at her as Mira got closer.

"Don't," Cana pulled out a magic card.

You grinned, "Mira! We need your help with something!!"

"No, we don't, Mira!" Cana yelled back.

You frowned at your friend, "Come on, Cana, you're lonely."

"I'm not!" Cana groaned, "I'm fine."

You raised an eyebrow, "Oh, right."

Cana grabbed her mug again, "Calm down. I meet someone."

"Who?"

Cana spat out her drink when Mira's sweet voice came from behind the both of you.
