Day 32
Coffee
Hundreds of people passed me by,
While I wait for the streets to dry.
A child clinging to his mother's coat,
Keeping the rain from his boots.
To a couple sharing a small umbrella.
Enjoying their trip back to their villa.
Rain surely has magic,
To keep people this close is epic.
A smile crept into my lips,
Remembering how I nearly slip
Someone actually caught me,
And butterflies flew free.
Now I'm sharing a cup of coffee,
With that man I now call my fiancè.
