I walked up the stairs up to the stage they set up earlier. Gasps were heard when I walked up. Everyone knew that I  was NOT the princess type. I walked so I was next to the person speaking and Lucy came up and stood to my left. I put on a fake smile and ignored everything else the man said.
Someone tapped my shoulder. I looked and there stood Lucy. She smiled and nodded towards a carriage. We both go in. There had to be about six carriages because there were 10 girls chosen. So if two go in each carriage plus the princes carriage there were six.
"Where are we going?" I said breaking the silence.
"We are going to the castle silly." She said with a huge grin on her face.
When we got off the town square roads it was a bumpy ride. We only ever had enough concrete to fix the square.
"So" bump "how" bump "is" bump "ok I have had enough of the bumps!"
"Hahahahahahahahahaha!" Lucy burst out laughing.
