Romelle bounced, super excited to even be in the doctor's office.

"They're gonna be so cute! They're gonna look just like me, and they'll be super strong and I'll be the best mother in the world!"

Allura smiled, placing a hand on her arm. "Calm down, Romelle."

Coran stood in the corner, looking over the posters on the wall. "Oh! Did you know in human pregnancies, the vulva can turn blue?"

Allura looked up. "What?!"

"Yep! The veins inflame, making it appear blue! Wow, humans are weird."

"I read about that!" Romelle said. "Most of the information I could find was on human pregnancies, but they're pretty much the same as Altean, right? And I'd like to say, I'm glad I'm a girl with a dick. I don't know if I could cope with that."

Coran shook his head. "I still firmly believe you two should have been more careful."

"Well, we weren't." Allura said. "And now we're having a baby, so we just have to cope with that."

Coran shook his head.

"Yeah, Coran, you know I'm a dumbass." Romelle said. "So really, if you're gonna blame anyone, it should be me. Not Allura."

"I'm not blaming anyone, I just... ugh, nevermind."

The doctor walked in then. "Good morning, everyone. Here we have... Allura? Now, there is still research being done into Altean pregnancies on Earth, but we can confirm that all other Altean pregnancies we've experienced have been very similar to human ones, so you might want to consider a hospital delivery."

Allura nodded. "Yes, I would like that."

"Good. Now, are we ready to get the ultrasound started?"

Allura nodded, and Coran sighed sadly.

"I think I should go." he said. "I'm finding this difficult to process."

He made for the door, when there was the sound of a steady rush. A beating. Coran paused, and turned around.

"There's your baby's heartbeat." the doctor said, with a smile. Even Romelle was stunned into silence, and the three listened intently. Coran slowly turned and walked towards Allura, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"That's them, Coran." she murmured. He nodded.

"That's my baby." Romelle whispered. "My actual child."

"That's my... um..." Coran struggled to find the right word. "It's a baby."

Allura smiled, as the ultrasound started and the picture came up on the screen.

"So, this is your uterus. And this is your baby." The doctor pointed out.

"They look just like me." Romelle said, running her hand over the screen.

"Not really yet. It's a literal grainy picture of my uterus." Allura said.

"I don't care. I can just tell they look like me." she murmured.

Coran stared at it in awe. "I'm gonna be a papa!" he smiled. "A papa to a little baby and I'm gonna love them so much!"

Allura turned to see the man with tears pouring down his face. "Oh, Coran!"

He smiled, wiping his face. "Sorry, Princess, I'm just so happy for you!"

He smiled, and hugged her, as the doctor printed it off.

"So, Altean pregnancies last only 6 months. You said conception occurred in early August?"

"Yep."

"Okay, we can assume the baby will come around late January or early February. It could be worth putting together a birthing plan, such as if you want any drugs or pain relief, or perhaps an epidural. Here's a leaflet with some information." the doctor handed her one, alongside the ultrasound. "Have a great day."

"Okay, so. A lot of you already know, but I wanted to gather us all up." Hunk said. Shay smiled next to him.

"So, we have some great news. I'm pregnant." Shay said.

Pidge looked up. "Yeah, I knew."

"Yeah, Pidge told me." Rora said.

"Yep, I overheard them speaking." Matt said.

"Romelle told me." Allura said.

"Allura told me." Coran said.

"Wait, what?!" Kassy said. "You're pregnant? Since when?!"

"Since, um, a month ago." Hunk said. "You were actually the first person I told."

"Yeah, Hunk, sweetie, I was having a mental health crisis. Do you think I can remember? Congrats! You'll both be wonderful parents."

"Thank you, Kassy, for being happy for us."

"I'm happy for you!" Romelle said. "Well done!"

"Yeah, well done on successfully ejaculating." Lance said.

"Yeah, well done on not pulling out." Pidge said.

"Thanks, guys." Hunk smiled. "Garribros for life!"

"Kerbros sounds better." Matt mumbled.

"Thanks, Matt, but we weren't on the Kerberos team." Pidge said, smacking him.

Matt shrugged. "Sucks to suck."

"I was like, 14!" Pidge said.

"Ah, should have been born earlier." Matt said.

"I feel like we're getting off topic." Rora said, wrapping her arms around Hunk. "Congrats, Hunk, and Shay. Kassy's right. That baby will have some amazing parents."

"Thanks, Rora. Love you."

"Yeah, congrats, guys." Matt said.

For the sake of moving things on, a full 2 months passed, and Halloween loomed on the horizon.

A very pregnant Kassy and a very not pregnant Shiro took Ulaz to look for Halloween costumes.

"What would you like to be, honey?" Kassy asked.

"A lion! Like in Voltron!"

She glanced over at Shiro, who almost swelled with paternal pride. She swore she saw his eyes well up.

"You wanna be the black lion like daddy?" Shiro asked.

Ulaz looked up at him. "No. I wanna be the blue lion like Uncle Pants."

Meanwhile, Pidge was speaking to Uncle Pants himself.

"Hey, wanna do a bet?" She asked.

"Sure."

"Ok. If I win, you have to wear a maid dress with cat ears for halloween. If you win, I have to do the same. Whoever thinks of a bigger number wins, okay? You go first."

Lance smiled. "Ha, I have this in the bag. One billion."

Pidge smiled slightly. "One billion and one."

Lance's jaw dropped open. "Huh?! That's not fair!"

"Get that maid dress ordered."

Laughing, Pidge went and found Matt.

"Hey, Matt, wanna bet?"

"The number one? Yes. I know how to beat you now! I won't fall for this again!"

"If I win you have to wear a maid dress for halloween."

"Sure." Matt smiled. "One billion and one."

Pidge, completely poker faced, stared at him.

"One billion and two."
