"We've achieved something incredible." Lotor murmured to Allura. Ignore the fact I kind of forgot he existed ok. He placed a hand on her arm, smiling down at her.

"We really did." she murmured.

"I know it's been tough since Kassy walked out on us, but..." he hooked a finger under her chin so she'd look at him. "I think we're going to do wonderful things."

Allura nodded. "Yes. I agree."

As they reached the ground, Lotor leaned in and kissed her softly. As their lips parted, Allura laughed softly.

The two walked out and back to the castle - however the scene they were met with was not a welcoming one. The whole group was surrounding the doorway.

"Allura. Step away from Lotor." Keith said.

Allura glanced at Lotor, then at the group. "I will do nothing of the sort." she replied defensively. "What is going on?"

"Perhaps this will explain." Lance pointed over to a young girl who had not been in the group before.

Allura gasped. "An Altean!" she murmured, before turning to Lotor. "What- what is going on?"

"Lotor has been harvesting Altean quintessence for generations!" the girl said. Allura glanced at Lotor, who was trying to hide his look of horror. "You killed my brother, and thousands of others!"

"Lotor has been manipulating us. He is a murderer!" Pidge said.

"Lotor, what are they talking about?"

"Allura, please. Look at all we've done. Now your people can live in peace! Were some lives lost in the process? Yes. But I had to sacrifice a few in order to preserve the future for millions. Do not let their words ruin what we've worked for!"

Allura glanced over at the girl, who had tears in her eyes.

"Think of what we experienced in the Quintessence field." he murmured, taking her hand.

In a moment of anger, she turned, pushing him away. Lotor went flying, rendered unconscious as he hit the floor.

"I'm sorry." Allura whispered the the Altean girl. "What's your name?"

"Romelle." she whispered, taking Allura's hand as the ship's alarms went off.

"Lotor's troops are attacking. Prepare yourselves, everyone."

Shiro, a few feet away, yelled and grabbed his head, falling to his knees.

"Shiro?" Keith called out to him, however he didn't reply, just groaning in pain.

"What's happening to him?!" Coran asked.

"Allura and I will secure Lotor. Hunk, help Shiro. Everyone else, stop those guys!" Lance commanded. Everyone nodded, and got to work.

"Hey, Shiro..?" Hunk asked. Shiro's head sprang up. His eyes were different, almost dead, lifeless.

And then, he attacked.

"Surprise."

Maeve turned around, saw Kassy, and screamed, before running over and throwing her arms around her, knocking her to the floor. Kassy laughed, hugging back.

"You're alive?! You're not a ghost?!"

"I'm alive and I'm back!"

"How'd you know where we were?!"

"Mrs Hernandez told me. What happened to mom?"

Maeve sat up. "Kassy, mom died."

Kassy sat up. "Huh?"

"Shortly after you went missing. She drank, got alcohol poisoning, and died."

"Oh, my God... And now you're in foster care?"

Maeve nodded. "Well, not for much longer. I'm 18 in a few months."

Kassy nodded, hugging her sister again. "Why's your hair pink?"

"I wanted to dye it. So I did. Why do you have a baby?"

"This is your nephew, Ulaz."

"Oh, my god. Did aliens get you pregnant?"

"No, a human got me pregnant."

"Which human?!"

"Remember Takashi Shirogane? I was on the mission with him, we got lunch with him."

"Daddy."

"Excuse me?"

"What a daddy."

"Well, he literally is now, because that's our baby." Kassy replied.

"Why Ulaz?"

"Basically, oh my god, we were captured by these aliens called the Galra, and they like, tortured us and shit, but basically this Galra soldier called Ulaz saved Shiro, so."

"Who saved you?"

"The Paladins of Voltron."

"And you repaid them by fucking their leader?"

"Yeah, pretty much. Where's Jas?"

"One sec, let's go surprise him. Get the baby with the weird name, let's go."

Maeve stood up, and ran down the hallway. Kassy followed.

"Wait here." Maeve said. Kassy glanced and saw Jasper sat on a sofa. "Jasper!"

"What do you want now?"

"Remember how Kassy is dead?"

"What?"

"Well..." she grabbed Kassy's arm and dragged her into the room.

Jasper's mouth hung open. "Kassy!"

"And she also had sex with an alien and got pregnant."

"No, I didn't, Jasper. This is your 100% human nephew, Ulaz."

"You're alive?! And you had a baby?! What the hell is happening?!"

"Come here!" Kassy pulled both her siblings into a tight hug. "I missed your stupid little faces so much."

It had been a long, hard fight, but everyone understood then.

"So, Shiro wasn't actually Shiro but a clone? And his consciousness is in the black lion?" Pidge asked. Keith nodded.

Rora took Axca's hand. "Is this fixable?"

Allura paused. "Well... we have no Shiro at the moment." she motioned towards Shiro's clone's lifeless body. "There's no guarantee it'll work, but we have literally nothing to lose and everything to gain." She walked to the black lion, placing her hands upon it, her head bowed and eyes closed. Then, she went over to Shiro, placing her hands on his head.

His hair turned completely white, and there was light as the Paladins held their breath.

"Right. Only time will tell if it's worked." Allura murmured. "Let's not worry about it."

"Anyone else hungry?" Hunk asked.

Everyone turned to Hunk, giving him looks, before Pidge spoke.

"I could eat."

The group hummed, and headed for food.
