My name is Nishat Amber and I am from India.

I am preparing for a career in civil services. I love political science as a subject. I suck at maths, though I am getting better at it.

I love to read and write. Music is my drug.

I am addicted to tea.

I love the smell of books and the earth after rain. I love the color purple.

I love cats. I have four cats in my house at the moment, with the youngest of the lot being a week old. I will always love my adorable pet cat Pippi who passed away a few months back.

My all-time favorite book is "Eleven Minutes" by Paulo Coelho. My favorite poem is "Annabel Lee" by Edgar Allan Poe.

I am happily married to my childhood sweetheart. My husband is the most loving, caring and understanding person on earth and I feel I am lucky to have him in my life. The fact that he is exceedingly handsome is icing on the delicious cake. He is my rock.

My dream is to be a published author someday with a bestseller to my name. I can dream, right:p
