1- I am bad at these things. Well here it goes.

I am a confused 18 year old with big dreams. I need to decide what I want to do with my life, but there are so many careers to choose from. Either way I want to do something that would help people and improve the world. A big dream, but not impossible I guess( wanting to be a successful poet/ author is sort of impossible but hey a girl's gotta dream, right?) I wish to be in Middle Earth right now, but Gandalf still did not knock on my door to take me on an adventure with Bilbo Bagins:(( I can be a geek) Enough about that now...

Umm so I love hiking, because I am amazed to see nature unfold itself, and cocoon me with warmth and beauty(though insects get to be troublesome sometimes). I love the night , the silence and simply hate mornings. I am shy, and feel like I don't belong anywhere even though my friends love me, and I adore them. I value friendships so much, and well love honesty, no mater how brutal.

2- I loved to write ever since I was a little girl. I used to close my bedroom door and imagine that I was in another world, fighting demons and protecting my homeland. ( I still act and then write. Starring in my strory apparently helps me to write)So I decided to write, but was lazy to do so. I started to "seriosly " write when I got rejected by a guy who is one of my closest friends now(I know weird). I was frustrated and heartbroken that I wrote a poem about it and posted it on here. When I got support from people ( I am thankful for them, and for those who still stuck with me although my first poem sucked in my opinion), I started to write more and more. And here I am, writing poetry and short prose.

3- Well for some reason I don't have any favorite poets or idols because everyone inspires me in a way. I find people interesting and love to observe them( in a non stalker/ non creepy way). Though I have enjoyed poems by Robert Frost, Edgar Alen poe, John Keats, John Donne, Maya Angelo, Peter Balakian, Barooyr Sevag, Khalil Jibran, Rumi, Nizar Kabbani, and many others... Whoops, they are a lot... I also adore some of the poets here, whom I like to call my friends :)

4- I write practically anywhere!(well almost) But my favorites would be on the dining table( lights off if I write on my phone), my bed and my desk at school ( too many boring classes, lol)

5- Well I love to write fantasy( I am obsessed with this genre), Romance( mostly poems) and fiction/non fiction.

6- well I would like to try mystery. I have loved Agatha Christie, Nancy drew and most of all sherlock Holmes... But I don't think mystery is for me.

7- I gather inspiration from almost anywhere and anything. Be it emotions, nature, planets, seasons, people, love, events, music, art, dance, poetry, books ect..

8- Well it depends on how it turned out. Some work, while others don't. I have done a couple of collaborations (here and at school) but I prefer to work alone.

9- Besides here, the school blog andTumblr no. I would like to publish though. I want to publish a book of poetry( more than one if I write some poems worthy to be in published) , short stories and novels/series.

10- Whatever happens write because you all know practice makes perfect.

Read more, especially a genre you didn't want to read.

Write when inspiration hits you, and don't change a chapter until you have finished the book( I have made this mistake a thousand times, but one day I shall learn it).

Plus encourage others! Comment on people's work, but be nice. We are all here to improve and share our creations.
