Jillian is brand new to the Pub so we thought it might be nice to introduce her here.

Ten things about me... well the first one is easy.

1. Im new here!

2. I am a caregiver to the elderly and hospice. I enjoy my work, it can be challenging at times when trying to deal with all the loss. Many I have become very close to and they are like immediate family for me. I find that reading uplifting inspiring literature and being active helps keep me in balance.

3. I used to write when I was a teen but had to put it on the back burner for a decade or two (who's counting? lol ) while the busyness of working and raising my children consumed most of my time. Now that they are all almost grown I have rekindled the fire. Im a bit rusty ;)

4. I love to study religion, culture, spirituality, and am a strong believer in maintaining personal growth and keeping an open mind.

5. My favorite food is deep dish pizza.

6. My favorite color changes periodically but currently is violet red

7. I love the outdoors and like to hike and kayak.

8. I am shy and a bit of an introvert.

9. My favorite poet is Rumi, love the depth.

10. I like to contemplate life and search for hidden jewels.
