Well to begin with I'm Canadian so I do use the 'U' in all those words referred to by MorningStar1399, as well as 'Zed' for Zee.

I'm married to a wonderful person who tolerates my ambition to be a writer, even though dinner grows cold sometimes. I think I'm better at making meals of leftovers than writing; it's just not as much fun.

I always wanted to play piano but my right hand never knew what the left was doing. . . I play the triangle.

My first venture on Wattpad was commented upon by lyttlejoe who gave me such an encouraging comment I followed him immediately and went so far as to copy his style. We have become very good friends (I think) so much so I coerced him into collaborating on a story.

I think I have a reasonably eclectic taste in music, books and art. I love Boogie piano and Harry Nilsson's ballads. Can't get much farther apart than that. Harry Palmer and Michael Westen are my dream spies and George Smiley is the master.

I love watching thunderstorms and timing the lightening. It just feels so energizing. Doesn't have to rain either. I try to paint now and then in watercolour and have a very messy drawer full of unfulfilled Group of Seven tries. I love animals and have enjoyed owning both dogs and cats (cats are easier to maintain but dogs are more fun).

Chocolate milkshakes and apple fritters will get you my house, car and any loose change in the bottom of my purse.

Used to do a lot of travelling but life got in the way and now we travel via memories and photographs (that sounds like a Jim Croce song). There is nothing really exciting about me except my enthusiasm for belonging to a great group of people that haunt the PoetsPub. Thanks B&B for the sanctuary.
