Cody Rhodes has had a huge rollercoaster over the years and his WWE career didn't go well as expected. It was that bad: a multiple time Tag Champion, Intercontinental Champion, and a former WWE wrestler in his own right.

After playing the Stardust gimmick which he actually hated, Cody sent off into the wrestling wilderness to find his niche and he has by becoming the American Nightmare.

He did very well for himself, he became WCPW Champion, ROH World Champion, IWGP United States Champion, and was close to winning in his match with 6 Star Match machine Kazuchika Okada.

He's now the former TNT Champion of AEW: Dynamite and someone who reinvented himself going old school like his father the late Dusty Rhodes, but this was a missed opportunity for WWE to realize his talent.

He's a great talker that would hook you in like a fishing pole, he sells like Ric Flair would, and he never had one bad match in 2019, 2020, and this year 2021.

That was a big mistake of Vince and WWE and with AEW becoming "Dynamite" every week, the company better be on their toes.
