Sachiko's PoV
I watched as Kakeru held hands with Takara at the drinks stand, and I smiled.
Some women just don't know their manners.
"What you did back there, super sexy." another whisper rang at my ear. Okay, I didn't stand up for Takara to get so much attention from these-
But the only thing I bumped into was Satoru's chest when I turned around.
"Oh!" i shuffled back, the current sea water was up to my waist.
I rolled my eyes, "Go away, Satoru."
I bopped my head down the surface of the water. I love the feeling of water. Sometimes my hair turns into shades of blue when I swim. I don't feel like it's weird anymore, since I'm basically all sorts of weird all over me.
And I've been told before that my eyes turn sky blue when I dive or bury my head under the water. Every time.
It's quite amazing that I could hold my breath under water for up to four and a half minutes and counting.
I let myself flow in mid-water, until someone forcibly pulled me up by an arm.
"Haruhito? What do you want?" I sigh and push my wet hair out of my face.
"Beach volleyball! You want in?" he exclaimed ever so enthusiastically, not even waiting for my declination, he pulled me right outta the ocean and up on the sandy beach, where it was HOT.
I didn't think anyone noticed my blue eyes as I played.
Of course I am good at it. Since I can predict moves of the non-guarded minds.

[Five Days]
I can't help but feel a bit down since starting today, I only have five days left and so far I'm far from the truth of myself.
"You okay?" Mi asked as we were on our way to Eimko's next photo shoots.
"Yeah..." I can't exactly tell her that I'm a next-in-line toast candidate now can I, even though she told me her secret?
It was a bright sunny day, and understandably, she had shades on...while having a bottle of chrysanthemum tea in her hand. Man she loves tea.
"If you say so." she just replied simply.
"Good work, Eimko! Take five!"
As soon as we walk in, I hear the shout of Dani Asuka, Eimko's manager.
"Hey girls." Eimko flashed us a smile while jogging towards us. She was wearing a grey tank top with white short jean shorts and a pair of flip flops, clearly one of her modelling outfits.
I smiled back while Mi just blinked at her bubbly personality.
"Today's topic are just your shots, there were only three in total." Mi explained bluntly.
"Sure. I'll just..." all of a sudden, she trailed off. Mi had wide eyes as Eimko did too.
"Angel." Mi whispered very lightly.
"Grim reaper..." Eimko frowned, her usual bright smile turning upside down.
Oh god. So Eimko doesn't feel good about demons after all, does she?
Then, a certain black-haired female ran up to us, "Eimko? Time up, next shot is you at the mall. We'll prepare the sets while you go change."
But Eimko didn't even seem to hear her manager, she and Mi seem to have some sort of stare-down.
Why do angels and demons hate each other again...?
"Eimko? Eimko!" Dani's shout by her ear finally snapping her out.
"Yes...I'm coming, Dani." she glanced at Mi, who was still staring at her, one more time before disappearing into her change room.
"What the heck was that?!" I whisper shouted to Mi as soon as both girls were gone.
"Angels." she gritted out through her teeth while twisting the cap of her tea open. I choose to remain silent after that.
I went to the back of the floor, to see if Tsubasa was at his change room. When I knocked onto his door, Seiji was the one who opened it.
"Oh, he's not here today, I'm just tidying the paperwork." he says. I unconsciously bit my lip as my eyebrows knitted a little.
"I'm sorry for staring," I quickly say, "you just look so familiar to me it's odd."
"I do?" he asks, rather surprised. Well that was an unusual reaction.
"Yeah, as if I've known you for years." I scratched the back of my head and chuckled nervously at the stupid thought. "Well, see you around. I'll be going." I gave him a small wave before leaving the studio building with Mi, who was still muttering under her breath through gritted teeth.
Back at the office after the photos, I put in full energy for my work. I want to finish this before my time comes, it won't turn out the same way if someone else continues it.
What's Saki doing working like crazy this week?
"I heard that." I said to Minato without even looking up from my laptop. I can sense him snort to my attitude.
Don't tire yourself out, okay? I heard Kaoru say, purposely for me to hear. I smiled, taking a glance at him and replied out loud: "Thanks. I know what I'm doing."
"It's so weird in a passerby's point of view of you hearing people's minds and then answering out loud." Shusei chuckled from his desk.
"Right?" even Chiaki threw in a word from his desk, which was the nearest to mine.
"It's pretty convenient when you wanna tell her something you don't want others to hear, though." Chiaki added, flashing me a smirk before returning to his innocent masked smile.
Am I right, Saki? I send him a playful glare at his thought.
"Ha! True." Shusei laughed. We all went on with a small group chuckle when suddenly, out of nowhere:
"PEOPLE! If you have time to chat, you have time to work! Move it!"
That single sentence says: Akiyoshi in the scene.
"Minato, Shusei, I want that article on my desk by the end of today, yes? And Kaoru, finish that issue completely ready by tomorrow morning. Chiaki, your scheduled interview is in three hours, go over your notes. Sachiko, I need that second article in an hour. Is everyone clear?"
"Yes, sir!"
"Is he always like that?" Mi whispered to me as we were editing the photos she took, which was easy since they were already professional.
I chuckled a little, "Yeah. That's why everyone in the office calls him the growler."
Mi grinned at that, "it kinda suits him, I guess."
After work, Mi said she needed to do her work—which I assumed was toasting candidates with the demons again—so she headed off while I took another route back to the demon house. I don't wanna walk into them killing people again....
I don't deal too well with horrors.
Though on my way there, I spot a group of people standing right in the middle of a busy street, but no one seems to notice them.
I narrow my eyes, and spot the outer lines of a barrier. The barriers that only I here can see through.
This is another demon group, I see. There were three guys, and a girl.
I witnessed the one with spiky blonde hair suddenly turned shape like a fog and went through the window, into a person's car.
Possession.
That is cool and creepy at the same time.
Then, as if possessed—hold on he is possessed—the driver seemed to suddenly steer the wheel wrong, causing it to crash into a tree by the sidewalks, injuring two other people who were just passing by.
"Perfect." I heard the dark red-haired demon say, he's probably the captain.
Spiky blonde came floating back, all the while fist bumping the other jet-black haired guy member of the group, while the girl looked a bit uncomfortable. I decided the girl was unique enough for me to look into.
Hikari Takamura; demon; Shiki's family friend.
Oh okay. So is she in anyway related to Nozomu, then?
"Car accidents are easy when we have you!" jet black hair patted spiky blonde on the shoulder, them both grinning. Then, jet black hair went, and seem to have collected the driver's soul, who was visibly dead due to his old car not having a proper air bag.
Those two passerbys weren't supposed to be hurt. I heard Hikari worry as she kept glancing back at the two people they apparently hurt by mistake.
"That's the last one for today." The dark red head said.
After they were gone, I went to take a look at the two injured people. Of course, they were humans.
And...it was a couple...husband and wife, actually, judging by the hoop on their ring fingers. Both were unconscious, but thankfully, not dead.
They could've been killed. I thought about how irresponsible that team was.
I narrow my eyes at the woman. They even have a seven-year-old daughter! How big of an impact that would be for her if she lost her parents!
I swore that I'll find that team one day and give them a piece of my mind.
Just then, I heard the siren of an ambulance, and the surrounding crowd was getting larger, so I head off.
~~~
I was quiet throughout the entire dinner, making Takara and Meguru glance at me once in a while.
The daredevil inside of me popped out when I finished dinner earlier than anyone else was nearly finished.
I head upstairs, not to my own room, but to Shiki's.
Picking up where I left last time, I tried to find information on my mother or father on his laptop.
But sadly, it had nothing. Not even anything on my so called 'twin'.
Wow I thought demons knew more than this.
Only five days left has made my determination and anxiety increase. The whole reason why I asked for ten more days was that I hoped at least to know myself, but now more than half has passed and I still got nothing!
I start to tear up a little bit and didn't notice that someone has pushed the door open.
"What are you doing here?" a voice asked.
Startled, I whipped my head around.
