I walk to my office slowly, dreading every single moment I'm  in this place. My bitter boss, my nosey colleagues and annoying celebrities that beg for a photoshoot.

I place my head in my palms and I sigh deeply.  This bloody magazine will be the death of me. Who said working in a magazine is all fun and games? All everyone does, is grumble about unwanted work and lack of food.

The click of the door opening interrupts my thoughts as Louise -one of my colleagues. Probably the most bearable one-  enters my office.

"Hey, Payne." She greets.

"Good morning, Louise."

"It's 10:50. Break time. Do you want to go grab a bite in the cafeteria?"  She suggests avidly.

"No, sorry though. I'm going to eat outside."

"Oh."

"Sorry." I look at her and I see her diverting her gaze to the ground.

"It's okay. Don't worry. See you around."  She says and leaves my office.

I enter an old café at an almost hidden one-way street. The cozy vibe and the coffee smell engulfs my body in a blissful cocoon. The concrete jungle disappears around me and all I can feel is the calmness of this small place.

I take a seat at a table and close my eyes to enjoy the soft music playing from the speakers."Welcome to Jasmine's. What would you like to order?" I overhear a sweet voice speaking and I open my  eyelids, only to meet with a pair of the most beautiful, piercing, violet eyes.

"Uh..uh..hey..hi" I stammer at a loss of words.

"Hi." She beams at me.

My stomach churns. I am nervous. Why am I nervous?

"What would like?"

"Uh... I'll have and English Breakfast tea and two chocolate muffins. Please." I order and she nods as she strides to the back of the café. Her blonde ponytail  bouncing up and down.

And at this moment, I decide that I'll be coming here every day at my break on 10:50 sharp, so I can just see her.
