Without a thought, he started to scavenge, whatever he could find. A Few Medkits, a Desert Eagle,  A few MREs and a binocular.

Specter 8: I'm not getting paid enough for this shit...

Specter 8 took cover and hide. From what he could tell it's some kind of a medieval soldier,  investigating. Around 20 Cavalry. Specter 8 has dealt with Rouge Entities that's trying to kill humanity, but this?

This is too easy for him. He got out and shot two of them down with the M4A1, some of them took notice and charged with swords.

He took care of the other four, too easily, after his spray and pray.

Specter 8: I would advise you all to drop your weapons.

Specter 8 noticed the other soldiers are surprised by his warning, an officer yelled something.

Officer: [They are with the people of the Gate!!!]

Specter 8 spotted a soldier trying to kill a villager with a spear, Specter 8 switched to 3 rounds and took care of the attacker. Other Villagers are looking at Specter 8 in awe. He swapped to his FAL and fired at the officer with a few shots, killing him and wounding the horse. More Soldier went to kill Specter 8, but Specter 8's quick reaction had them sent to hell.

Villager 1: [He's an Angel in Disguise!]

Specter 8 reloaded his FAL and neutralized an archer, who was about to loose an arrow, it did however, save an another villager, redirecting the arrow to him. Specter 8 pulled the arrow off him and searched for more. 

Which, he did. 

Soldier: [RUN!!! THAT DEMON IS GOING TO KILL US!!!]

And he started to hunt them down. Chasing them while firing his FAL at them without mercy. As some tried to deal with him, were finished. Cavalry? He dodged them and retaliated with his gun. Archers? He took cover and fired back. Medieval Artilleries? He dodged before they fired and dealt with them. Soldiers? He just gun them down. Magazines after Magazines emptied and reloaded. No wonder, Specter 8 was questioning this.

Specter 8: What the hell is this...

When they all retreated, and was too far for Specter 8 to shoot them with more lead. He decided to go back to the village. When he came back, he was welcomed by the villagers, after saving them.

Villager 2: [Thank you for saving us, our guardian angel!] 

Specter 8: I'm sorry, I don't understand you all...

They kept thanking him, until the Village Leader came to him, they all quiet down.

Village Leader: [I'm sorry with the people, but can I ask, who are you?]

Specter 8: ... I still don't understand you, Mister.

Village Leader: "Specter... 8? You don't have any other name?"

Specter 8: (After deciphering a while...) "Yes."

Villager Leader: "Still, you have our gratitude. Are you with the men in green?"
